Pet friendly seating outside!This was our lunch stop on our way to the Smokey Mts and we were delighted we made the right choice.The food is spectacular and the owner is such a wonderful person as she was in shop greeting and tending to everyone.There are tables and chairs on the outside sidewalk that allowed us to eat with our dog.Serving size is a decent portion.Awesome hole in the wall in a small quaint town. I could see eating here regularly if we lived here.Would dine again!Parking: Free Street parking right out front.

I am extremely pleased that my husband and I have stumbled upon this hidden gem. Chau is such a sweetheart and her food is just so flavorful and delicious. I am always smiling when speaking to her on the phone and from the first time I tasted her food (chicken & veggie Pho, spring rolls) I know I will be a forever customer! I love the authentic flavors, the customization of the meal and the portion sizes are just perfect!!! Amazing, amazing food. I would love for everyone to try her food! 💟

Service is out of this world! Chicken etouffe is the best I've ever had. The brownies were very rich but not dense; a colleague described them as "perfect" and I agree.Will be returning anytime I'm in town.

My daughter and I arrived about an hour before closing. We were met by the owner, who was a charming and helpful person who made significant effort to make sure we were well taken care of. It was a chilly rainy afternoon and we ordered the Pho, one was with chicken and mine was with pork (labeled as BBQ, but was chunks). It was awesome, this is the real deal. The bakery items were pretty much gone by this late hour, but she did toast up some freshly-baked French bread, and we grabbed a brownie and a bag of meringues which were also done well. We were on a 9-hour road trip, and this was the perfect meal - savory, filling but not heavy, just the right amount of spicy hot. Chau's is definitely worth your visit! I couldn't have asked for anything more for the food or service.

Chau's is a hidden gem in the town of Wytheville.Not only does she provide great fresh food you are always greeted with a smile and curtesy.We tend to only eat at local restaurants and Chau's is hands down one of the best in the area, highly recommend. Her deserts are great as well!!

We were pleased to come across this place while passing through the area. The gal running the place was very friendly, and the food was fantastic. Cannot recommend the pork pho enough!The tiramisu was incredible, and the ginger molasses cookie is definitely a winner. We would definitely stop by here again!

Passing through Wytheville and needed a late breakfast. What better than Vietnamese phó! It really hit the spot for me on a cold windy day. Chau is so nice and friendly as well. If you need a hot bowl of chicken noodle soup, you definitely need to stop here. Spring rolls are great. I left with some of the baked goods from the display as well. Ate the tiramisu before I left my parking spot. She may not be Italian, but that is one of the best tiramisu I've ever had. Will be back next time I come through.

Visited Chau's corner Bakery and was greeted by chef herself who described each dish in detail. I ordered the Pho, springrolls and completed the experience with a few baked goods. 10/10 a must visit while in Wytheville

I can not say enough great things about this amazing place...truly a hidden gem!The food was tasty, fairly portioned, and reasonably priced. The owner was friendly and attentive. If you don't stop here, you have only yourself to blame. :)UPDATE : It is one year later and we are back through the area. Once again, Chau's is a home run! Great pho and warm service make this a must stop for travellers and locals alike. Can I give it 6 out of 5 stars?

The pho is amazing here. The closest I've had to my experience in New York. Amazing service and the absolute sweetest person. If you come here definitely get a meal and dessert. The tiramisu was the best I've ever had (compared to New York and Washington DC Bakeries). The cupcakes were beautiful and had a homemade buttercream. I would come back a million times over. Easily one of my favorite places to eat in this area.

I got the pho, spring rolls, and a chocolate cream puff - it was all top-notch. I especially enjoyed the spring rolls with the peanut sauce! I'm definitely going back tomorrow to try more of the menu.

Layers of flavor! This is a dainty little bakery which has lunch & dinner items as a daily special. The owner & hostess was charming, personable, and essence of hospitality. I am not from the area, but I stopped off the highway for gas. I choose to drive the little extra effort into town and not settle for the box-stores at the highway. I'm sure glad that I did! This one dish had layers of flavor in every bite. The coffee was very good, and Chau made it strong at my request. I left with some desserts for the road, including the delicious tiramisu cup and some melt-in-your-mouth macaroons.This was a great find in my travels. I will remember it, and I'll plan to make that stop again.

Everything here is delicious. I love the Korean chicken noodle soup and spring rolls with peanut sauce. The brownies are delicious, too! Chau is so friendly and the service is very quick. There is a nice, small space to eat inside the restaurant.

Chau was such a breath of fresh air on my long drive from DC to Texas. I came at an odd time and was greeted with a friendly smile, warm food and fun conversation. To be able to cook that well in such a small town in Virginia, hats off to her!

Stopped here on our way back to New York from North Carolina.The lady running the place was so kind and attentive. She was handling so much but made sure we were taken care of. The pho was so flavorful and the spring rolls were fresh. A perfect lunch for a road trip.

Stopped by this sweet little shop today for lunch, and we were absolutely blown away! Firstly the lady who took care of us was so sweet, kind, and provided us with excellent service. Food was outstanding! I got the imitation crab meat pho while my husband got the meat ball pho, and both were tasty and filling. We couldn't leave without trying out a few of the desserts, please don't sleep on the chocolate cream puffs. My husband says they're the best he's ever had and I couldn't agree more! Very humble shop, already looking forward to our next visit!

I don’t know what all these reviews are going on about, but what we had is not the “best pho ever” experience. It wasn’t even pho.To explain this, pho should consist of certain ingredients such cilantro, basil, bean sprouts…instead we got ice berg lettuce to substitute all those ingredients.Obviously, whoever made this “pho” has never left Wytheville, Virginia and doesn’t understand how to price things for such a small bowl.The waitress was nice, but unfortunately her kindness could not make up for the bowl with noodles in it.Anyways, I recommend just sticking to the baked goods.
