Very knowledgeable team. Well stocked choices for trees, plants and landscaping. I highly recommend their services for install and maintenance. Hard working and great work.The nursery also has an unaffiliated cafe during lunch and other hours. So you can grab coffee and a light meal or snack.

I was on a road trip from Texas to DC back in June. I needed to take a break and saw that a geocache was nearby. I stopped at the nursery to grab the cache and saw the amazing collection of plants. On the way back to Texas I had to stop to see the Japanese Maples again. I met John who helped me select one and we somehow got it to fit in my Honda CRV.I’m back home and the tree looks amazing. It is the focal point of my back yard redesign.

I get a lot of my plants at Fort Valley every year and every year they have the selection I need. Their staff is great and ready to help no matter the project. I always ask questions about the plants, where they should go, etc. and they are always willing to help me. I've also purchased some trees and shrubs here and they were so helpful in getting the right one and finding a place to plant it.

This is honestly my favorite store and restaurant in Shenandoah County. I am gluten free and I love their gluten free options. They have sandwiches, salads, baked goods, soups, and frittatas that are gluten free. I have been a customer for years. I love the library area they created. Last time I visited I bought a stack of books from the gently loved book selection. I love how the proceeds from that section go to the local schools to buy books for the libraries. I am also a plant lover and enjoy their selection of house plants. It’s a great place to visit. I highly recommend.

This place is a GREAT concept, and beautifully executed. Great view. Breakfast burrito was awesome, espresso drinks were pretty good too. Florentino sandwich might have been better - the croissant tasted very lemony, which didn't mesh well with the sandwich. Overall, really enjoyed the stop and will try to stop here any time I'm passing through!

Their food is great. But I think the portions are very poor. Especially when ordering to go. I love dining in and having the whole garden cafe experience. It’s amazing and beautiful in summer. I highly recommend. A gift shop feel as well and many nice things to look at. Worth a try.

Where to begin? The first time we went there was to eat at the cafe. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. We were new to the area and our home needed major landscaping, so I also took a look at the garden center. Excellent selection. Reasonable prices.I've always done the landscaping myself at previous homes, but the new place needed so much work, I decided to try Fort Valley Nursery. I met with Eric Beaune, the owner, who listened well and quickly understood what I was looking for. The process was seamless. Our yard was transformed from a wild jungle to an oasis where we enjoy just walking around the yard. I appreciate that Eric is a straight shooter. He doesn't over promise. He actually delivered more than he promised in our case.All the employees we've met in both the garden center and cafe are friendly and helpful. My wife and I always look forward to going there.

They don't have a ton of hot breakfast items on the menu but what they do have is quite tasty. They also offer a lot of baked goods. The chocolate chip scones and homemade peanut butter eggs were amazing! Can't wait to go back for lunch.

If you're looking for a relaxing and refreshing place to grab lunch off the interstate, I highly recommend their cafe. They feature local, fresh ingredients in a variety of salads and sandwiches. My husband and I are still talking about how good our lunches were. In fact, my husband ordered a second wrap to go so he could eat it later for dinner. I wish I had too.

Staff were fantastic!! A wonderfully patient woman helped me try on every unakite bracelet they had (I was trying to pick gifts for 3 VERY picky women)... and another woman helped me figure out which hikes to try while in the area. A+++ customer service from both -- it's several days later and I'm still gushing.Oh! And VERY cool merchandise too!

Knowledgeable, friendly staff await your visit here. The wide selection of plants will pull you in and lose track of time. Luckily, the cafe inside has an amazing selection of pastries, beverages, and sandwiches to refuel your agricultural binge. Local beer, cider, and wine is also available as a coping mechanism for buying too many plants. Easy access of 81 makes this visit a must.

Always a great place to buy flowers, shrubs and trees. I wish the prices were about 10% cheaper but with the great looking products that they have I can understand. I've never had problems with people being helpful or plants, shrubs and trees that I have bought have always held up great and flourished when I plant them.

Drove down in search of a Passion flower vine that I could not find in Winchester. Not only did they have it but had two colors to choose from! Really lovely nursery. Lots of neat plant varieties, garden statuary and gift items. Got a brownie to eat on my way home at the cafe!
