The location is very good, the staff is usually knowledgeable and professional, friendly. Good stick most of the time. The Saturday adoption events are very fun. The mobile vet needs to be there every month but alas it's limited. Call the store itself for dates and time is best.

I got my baby hamster Shadow here a few months ago. I love him and he's the bestest boy ever. He was the biggest hamster they had. He is my everything; thank you PetSmart for my little guy. Staff was so helpful and friendly with getting him ready to go home. I love the adoption boxes they give you for small pets; he fell asleep in his on the ride home. Now he enjoys the good life in his super large cage all to himself. I think everyone should get to see how cute he is, so I attached some photos. ❤️

Do your own research before buying fish here. I was new to getting fish and stupidly trusted the "fish expert". They didn't explain why it's necessary to "cycle" a tank before getting fish or you'll kill all your fish. They also don't tell you fish that don't do well with each other. They will also sell you "male" guppies that aren't actually male so you end up with 50 babies in your tank. Or sell you an aggressive fish promising it gets along with your other fish until you notice fish keep going missing. I'm giving 2 stars because they do have a huge selection of stuff and as long as you do your research first, it's a good place.

I'm not sure about these guys yet. I took my dog here after I updated my pets rabies vaccine. I wasn't able to afford it for a little while so he got bad. They refused him due to many matt's. We took him back home and cut his hair ourselves. Now he has no Matt's and I'm not sure if I'll take him back again. I have had good experiences at other petsmarts but this one has rubbed me the wrong way.

Helpful staff, kept clean and pet friendly. Horrible layout, it's just hard to find stuff in there. Shelves are crowded and not labeled well in many areas, especially first aid, grooming and bathing products. Prices are not great, you can usually find same items online for cheaper.

I was there 5 min ago and the black guy at register with any experience in customer service. he didn’t say hi, he was like ok get your things and get out of here 👎👎👎👎👎 I have better customer service with the self checkout machine

Employees are very friendly and store is well stocked!!! However sometimes they do a poor job trimming my dog's nails. Recently I had to take her back 2 weeks later as they didn't take enough length off, she had a hang nail that got stuck to our carpet. This has happened twice now.My dog is well behaved, so it's not a struggle to trim her nails. I am just scared of hitting her quick. Not sure why sometimes a nail (or 3) gets skipped. It's happened enough my family calls it her Coke pinky haha

Please DO NOT take your dog for hair cut of trims to this place. My Great Pyrenees was not mattered when I drop him off. And when I picked him up his hair was so matted on visible areas, that clearly were not there before I took him here. And I don’t think they even comb his hair. The way they trim his hair was so uneven. And around his mouth they completely shave his hair when I just ask for a trim. First and last time I take my dog to this place.Tried to take some pictures of what I am talking about.

So former petsmart manager here and I think this store is FANTASTIC. The manager Tommi is so great. She is always smiling and courteous and just seems to like her job. I only come to this store after having an issue at the Springfield location and encountered the rudest manager, I will never spend money in that store again. It used to be a great location but has gone downhill w rude managers and unknowledgeable employees. I have never been treated w such disrespect as I did at Springfield. Every single associate I have encountered at the Woodbridge location is nice and makes you feel like a valued customer. Kevin, the assistant manager is also incredible and has been helpful and always willing to assist me. Most importantly, he is friendly, as is everyone there. This store is not the closest to me (I am actually in the middle of two other locations) but am more than happy to drive there. With all the competition Petsmart has, customer service is essential to keeping customers and this store excels in being great.

Don't buy your fish here. We infected our fish tank with the new fish from this store and all fish which we had for over 4 years are dead. The treatment didn't help. It never happened to us before. We spent $40 + killed all of the fish we had (we had a beautiful catfish for over 6 years now and she is almost dead)😢

We inquired about training because our puppy needed to be desensitized to eye drops in order to treat a slow healing ulcer. The trainer, Jeannie, was honest with us up from that classes wouldn’t help. Instead of just saying good luck, she took the time to give me suggestions for how we can condition him to be comfortable with touching his eye. We tried her suggestions and had immediate success. Thank you so much!

I set up an appointment for my dog to get a bath as well as his nails cut. When I walked in the door, the manager rudely told me that I had to wait outside because only one dog is allowed in at a time. When I was called, although I had my dogs vaccination records, they told me that they couldn’t take him because the vaccination records were hand written with no expiration date. What difference does it make? My dog received his rabies shot on 9/12, about a month ago. The manager Tara was very rude, stating that it is Petsmart’s policy to require all dogs to have printed vaccination records. Meanwhile, I called another Petsmart in the area, and they informed me that they would take our dog’s vaccination records as is!!! I am very pissed because this specific Petsmart completely wasted my time and the attitude from the manager was totally uncalled for from the moment I entered into the shop! Please whatever you do, DO NOT go to this location in Woodbridge for any of your pet’s grooming needs!!!! It will only lead to frustration!!!!

Update: I wasn't happy with my last grooming experience here. I paid for the "essential" service and I don't actually think they did the extra work. They were supposed to pluck my dog's ears and brush his teeth, amongst other extras I paid for. When they brought my dog out, he was supposed to be wearing a bandana, which is part of the package. He wasn't, so it immediately made me question if they did anymore than shampoo and blow dry him. When the worker at the front asked the stylist, Alexa, if the essential work was done, she just nodded blankly. Just gonna toss this place into the trash Woodbridge pile and move on... My advice? Don't pay for any upgrades. It's not worth it if the stylists have no accountability.I've regularly encountered bad customer service at this location. I had a particularly grating experience today with the cashier Theresa. She was completely rude, didnt greet me or say youre welcome when i said thank you. She just handed me the receipt without looking at me and spoke to the next customer.

I will never return to the Grooming located in this PetSmart. I’ve never had any issues with them, but I know of others who have. I called Today to ask if they had room for a nail trim only. The girl on the phone had great customer service. When I got there, (10 minutes early), I was standing at the lobby as all of the girls were talking to each other about their schedules, completely ignoring me. I was there for about 5-10 minutes, until a girl in the back shouted “Hi! Has anyone helped you yet? Do you have an appointment?” I said “no mam no one has helped me”. Once I said that, they all turned (even though they saw me when I walked in). A girl came towards the desk to assist me, as the other girl said “this one is yours”. The girl came to me with attitude and looked like she had no intention of wanting to assist me. My dog does have a bit of anxiety when it comes to PetSmart, and it’s starting to make me curious. She did nothing to make him feel comfortable and or gain his trust so that he would be able to go with her to the back. I work with Dogs myself, and it breaks my hurt that people like this work in the industry. If you don’t have patience for the ones who need a bit more of TLC, then don’t work with animals. They need just as much love as we do! Terrible customer service.

Worst place to take your pet. Ive been taking him there for quite a while and booked his appt a week in advance because I wanted a specific stylist for the grooming salon and she’s usually booked. During the appt I get a call from a different stylist telling me she needs to shave him down because of the matting. I told her I didn’t book with her and I wanted to speak to the original stylist. The stylist I booked with would never call me and tell me she needs to shave him down as I’ve been taking him there regularly and maintain his coat at home regularly. The stylist said she was booked up and needed help which is why the other girl was just helping her bathe and dry the dogs. 30 mins later I get a call from the manager telling me the stylist nicked my dogs paw and he’s being taking to the hospital. When I asked him who was cutting his hair he wasn’t sure, which gave me the feeling that the original stylist gave her appointment to the other one. They’re extremely unprofessional, the manager wasn’t able to answer any of my questions of the severity of the accident and the stylists only care about getting as many appointments as possible instead of focusing on maintaining the trust of their customers. If I could give them less than 1 star I would.

I’m a frequent shopper here, but I was blown away with my service today. I was assisted by Hannah and she was very friendly and easy to talk to and very helpful with the tricky ghost shrimp I needed. The cashier that checked me out was also great, but sadly I didn’t catch his name.

Horrible Customer service and bad attitudes from the grooming department. I was told 15 to 20 minutes to wait for a nail trim. I waited over 40 minutes and there was another dog in front of me that has been waiting for over an hour for a nail trim. The manager ensured that I would be helped but when I went back to the salon, they told me that they would help me when they were done grooming dogs. So in all, I waited for almost an hour with my 15-year-old Chihuahua, who never got her nails trimmed. I have six animals and spend hundreds of dollars at the store every month. I am done with this specific location.

Petsmart should be ashamed to let so many fish of this magnitude die like this. As a fish keeper I get it happens but this is crazy to me. I will no longer be going here when you can’t even take care of your own.
