Where do I start ??? I'm wondering if they even read these reviews. But the staff really do hate their job. I never understood why people work somewhere they hate. Went in to do the coupon for Saturday. Wasn't adding up and I ask them to explain why they told me they don't know those are online coupons. So I ask if they void the transaction the lady calls a manager and then proceeds to tell me (whole time the manager is standing there not saying anything ) if I void it and we scan it again you have to buy it, first of all I don't have to do anything. So I ask why she is being rude continues to tell me she doesn't have time to be voiding and scanning. Lady this is your job?? The manager is just standing behind her not saying anything looking dumb and confused. So the lady cashier tells me if I don't like it to leave. I said I am not leaving and I would not like her to help me, and asked if the manager could assist instead mind you she stands behind the manager giggling, I promise the manager did not say one word. Like what type of managing is that????? Honestly what the point of having dollar general 2 mins away from my house if this is what you get. Reading prior reviews and it seems like this is a continuous problem. I'm not even a review type of person but I promise these ladies really tested my patience at 8 am on a Saturday.

Horrible cashier. She was so irritated with the customers, rolling her eyes and not interested at all in her job. When I try to insert my card, she increased her voice tone and said only insert if you want to pay double. So impolite. Bad customer service. Avoid.

I don't know how do I start writing about this specific store.Let me start with store products, it is really upsetting because every time I do visit this store almost all the products are not available, staff they never fill up things specially in household and medicine section. I asked one of the staff she replied me back that we are not bothered..WOWEmployees show attitude if you ask them any help finding out products. I have seen only 1 or 2 staff working in this store.I would like to grab attention to the Management Team please do visit and try to solve this problem as soon as possible, specially in household section, aisles were not filled up probably for last one year

I went to this store. It's not even 9pm. The employees locked the store. A woman comes out and says that the register is not working. There is a sign saying "cash only", but I have cash. They just closed the store. I drove here for nothing. Why don't they just fix the register instead of inconveniencing all these folks pulling up trying to get products?

This store has really gone downhill lately. They randomly close whenever they want. They put up signs saying “be back in 20” but are gone much longer than that, they put up signs saying they are closing 7pm.. shelves empty. just overall very inconsistent. I understand it’s a dollar general but come on now.

The employes of this store are so rude. The old black lady speaking loudly and rudely to me that nothing is on sale before asking the price. I even didn't know the things were on sale. They hide all the good holidsy stuff. So disappointing.

I've never been to this store but I am giving a review. Four-star for generally good work of the employees there. But tonight I saw on nextdoor.com that a lady narrowly escaped a guy lurking outside of the store. He ran to get close, apparently with bad intention. Everybody should look out. I hope this guy will be caught.

Store shelves always empty.no merchandise. All the stock in the back room and never on the floor because it's not enough staff to do inventory. The store is horrible! I don't know how they make money to keep the site open. A waste of time to go there. I go to Family Dollar 2 miles away and I live behind the Dollar General store. Great store, great prices but nothing stocked on the shelves to purchase. A empty store as if they're going out of business. Don't waste your time going there to shop. You can go today, next week, next month and same situation. Merchandise on rolling bins sitting in the middle of the aisle but not in the shelf. The last ten months have been a nightmare. It's sad because the store is in a great convenient location with great prices. No employees to work so the store can't keep business. Abandon ship!

Almost every time I’ve been in here I’ve had nothing but good experiences with the staff. Even when they get busy they are almost always friendly. The selection is pretty decent as far as a DG’s standpoint. The prices are usually pretty fair too. I love their dollar shelf.

I know it's a dollar store but my expectations aren't high, this store is a terrible mess. Boxes in all the aisles, trash everywhere. Half eaten and drank items littered everywhere.Doesn't seem to be much order to the store, like it doesn't even have someone in charge, maybe the employees are just told to wing it.One employee on staff..maybe, think the last time I went the employee had just left the store alone.Don't bother, unless you're looking for a quick pack of cigarettes.

This store has really gotten better! They are staying fully stocked and the manager is really nice. I was even told that he will keep in stock something that I buy a lot, which he notice himself. I am very impressed cause I always new that this location could be better and now Im very happy with the new manager. Please keep up the good work!!!

The only reason I'm eating this place so low is because it is filthy. There were isles blocked by bags of trash. Isles blocked by ladders and boxes and just stuff strewn so far you couldn't walk. They are nice enough but I don't think I've seen that store clean in at least 5 years. It's like they have no pride in their store at all. I know this sounds pretentious but if it were my store it wouldn't be so filthy.

Even though I shop here every day. The prices are really great but the store is a complete mess. The shelves are always bare. Items all over the floor. Boxes blocking isles. I ran into a man there that was smoking g a cigarette outside that I mentioned how messy the store is and he advised that he was the Regional Manager and that he just fired the store manager for this reason. That was about 3 months ago. The store stilll looks the same. Theres a bald guy with glasses that works there at night time that is very odd. One time I asked him for a pack of cigarettes and he told me that the line was too long and for me to pay for my items on tbe counter then move along. I asked him to grab my cigarettes from behind him and he said he didnt have time to unlock the cabinet he had to help the customers behind me. I really home they clean this place up.

The store is always a mess. The lines are always long. They are always out of what I need. They stopped ordering take 6 candy bars....but there are some really nice people who work there and DG prices are cheap, so I keep going back.....

This store is so sad and pathetic! I live in the neighborhood and I usually would like to come here when I do not feel like going to stores like Walmart. For the last three to four months the store has looked a hot mess no shower curtains boxes everywhere the employees all look so sad and depressed!! I mean there is just no kind of happy faces and good customer service there are boxes everywhere the the Aisles are always cluttered with crap!! The shelves aren't stocked I mean what are you waiting on hire people for crying out loud!!!! It's ridiculous!!!

Today, I was faced with the most indecent customer service I have ever had to endure in all my years of supporting the dollar general. I arrived rather late at night, accompanied by two other customers who, as I, needed to make a last minute stop at the store to pick up something. To our complete horror, we had the doors shut in our faces with one of the employees shaking her head as if to say they were closed despite there being 7 minutes left till closing. Not only is this a clear indication of false advertisement, but also a grand display of poor customer service. I will no longer be coming to this store because of it and I can only hope management sees this, and implements a change in the way they train their employees before they lose more customers. I will also be putting in a complaint to the Consumer Affairs.

Good prices and convenience, bad customer service. I had 2 items prepared to be checked out when the person in front of me had to go get a card to pay. About a minute later she comes back talking on her phone without approaching the register. Everyone is being pretty patient while she stands around talking and I finally ask the cashier if she can check me out while the person figures out how and when they are going to pay. Her reply was basically "no". It's hard to patronize a business when you can't buy anything. Won't be shopping here again, and they should definitely improve on their hiring process.

I used to work at this location with the original team. I stayed when the new management took over. I no longer work here because of the new management as of almost 2 years ago. The manager Bernetha was extremely rude to not only customers but employees as well. Wrote down one thing for us to do, but then verbally says something else and to forget what was written only to yell at us the next day and Fires employees for going on approved non refundable trips. This store used to be spotless for the first 2 years. Good luck shopping and finding what you need. The front may look clean, but the rest is not.

Always a little bit of a mess inside, and they have on more than a couple of occasions had signs advertising specials which already expired. People get to the register, question the total, and are pointed to the small print on the signs listing expired promotion dates.They do nevertheless have decent prices on everyday household consumables and convenient location and store hours.

This store is in dire need of help both professionally and personally. The staff is likened to a high school clique rather than business professionals. Boxes of stock spill out from the back room onto every aisle of the sales floor pricing is inaccurate and the staff which is over inundated with the overflow of stock is unavailable to help customers find anything for purchase. Excruciatingly long lines of customers not due to high demand rather to only having 1 cashier on duty at a time that takes frequent bathroom breaks between customers and all other staff scrambling about in the chaos disguised as a store. If your a thrill seeker and you enjoy the fear of being surrounded by tall stacks of unstable boxes that can take you out with one wrong turn/bump while you try to squeeze past them and a fellow shopper on a narrow aisle to get yourself a tube of toothpaste or bottle of dish soap or bad attitudes from employees when you need help finding accurate pricing because the sale labels are a week old or just plain wrong or missing, better yet if you enjoy going to spend money at a business only to leave with a headache my friend this is the place for you. I enjoy visiting this Dollar General because of the friendly greetings and the coupons. The only thing is there are always empty shelves for cleaning products and boxes of unopened products in the aisles. Overall, I stillbchoose to come and will continue to.

This store is a hot mess! Boxes and boxes of product waiting to be shelved. Maybe today is shelf stocking day, but I doubt it. It has been quite awhile since I was in this store, but it was very organized back then (admittedly a few years ago).

Really have upgraded the place. The people are nicer than I have ever seen and the variety of items is amazing. I even found a single burner there that I couldn't readily find a Walmart!

The owner must be a cheapskate. I have ask for the owner to hire more people and get the MANY large carts unloded and off the floor. It was NEVER like this when all the older women where running the store. The store is ALL WAYS in disarray. Clean up your act owner.

I went to buy some things today and the person who was at the checkout had a very bad attitude, she was a dark-haired lady and she spoke to me super ugly just because I asked her the price of the item, people like that shouldn't be working with customer service.

I come here pretty often as I live in the area and the staff here are pretty nice as well as interesting people. They've always got what I need whether it be from scooby snacks to super glue, and for good prices too.
