Everything's perfect, cleanliness is on point, and the staff are very friendly. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is this. Sometimes and not always, but sometimes a couple people will just toss the items in the bag instead of laying it in there gently. But other than that, had a very very good experience shopping with the wonderful people up there on staff. Keep up the good work ladies and gents!

This store has a man named Mike. He is one of the most unpleasant people you have ever met. I have tattoos and long hair he thinks I am a thief fooowimg me around. He dine the same thing to my mother . public embarrassment. This store has the worst people friendly management ever. They pay their employees to follow people around and they make people feel super uncomfortable. Ronnie said to me that's what they get paid to do. Well. I thought butcher get paid to cut meat. You would think I that after 2 years of shopping there if I was going to steal something I would've already stolen it. The store trash anyway. Leaks water everywhere . Should fire Ronnie and Mike..

I've been shopping at this store since 2017, I love the location and the staff is always helpful (especially the tall, slim, older gentleman with glasses). In my opinion, the prices can't be beaten unless you are shopping at a dollar store.Since last summer, I've been to this store 7 or 8 times always riding my mountain bike (cycling is my thing), and I've always parked the bike in the vestibule between the two automatic sliding doors. Well, in true Southwest Virginia style, the manager would take issue with it today citing the bike poses a hazard for someone to trip over. Don't get me wrong, his tone was nice and professional but why the lack of continuity!?The funny thing is, the time before last I shop there, he actually check me out and watched me fill my saddlebags with the goods I just purchased and didn't say anything! He proposed that I leave this $2700 bicycle I ride outside of the sidewalk somewhere likely outside of camera range, while I spend 30 minutes or more food shopping. lol.Look, had someone would've said something last summer back when I started to ride my bike there, then I would have driven my car or shopped someplace bicycle-friendly.

It's always been a great place to shop over the years and conveniently located If you have lived in the town of Wise but it seems like it's been on a steady decline recently. Also they have downsized there aisles and products so it seems inevitable they are one the way out but I hope they pull through and there here for another 50 years!

Prices are outrageous. Even when items are "on sale," the prices are still higher than Food City (which also has unnecessarily inflated prices), so that says a lot.

I Love my Wise Va IGA store. Everyone there is friendly and helpful. The store is clean and well stocked with the items I buy. Produce is fresh and well organized. Like I said, love this store and the people.

The store itself is super clean. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I like the fact it is not a huge sprawling "super" grocery store. Makes it easier to get in, get the items I need, then get out.

While this grocery store is a hometown store, it's recent management transition has caused a shift in distributors. With this shift, prices have been affected(in some cases by being increased by a noticible margin compared to previous prices and by competitor comparison) and a shifting of brands brands, both brand name and off-brands, which I have grown to love have been discontinued and replaced by alternatives(also brand-name and off-brands), which may not be lesser quality, per se, but the subtle differences in taste, and sometimes texture, have caused me to consciously decide to take my business elsewhere. I'm not saying it's a bad store (4/5 star rating), mostly because the management staff that is there on a regular basis is 100% helpful, knowledgeable and intent on listening and helping to solve any problem that may arise. Along with this new transition, they do now possess an Alcohol permit, allowing the sale of a variety of commercial beers. If you're more of a craft beer, wine, or champaign type of person, this store isn't what you're looking for, however.

Its a pay less, its nicely located right in the town of Wise. I frequently shop here when i finish with my classes for the day. If you want a good local grocery store then this is your place.
