So this is part 1 of several parts where I will be following up with corporate and this local location on the amazing and fabulous customer service and friendly, helpful nature that the nighttime manager named Kennedy. She has gone above and beyond not just for myself and my family but she has also made it clear that she loves her job, she loves helping anyone who may need it and is genuinely willing to go the distance to make sure her guests leave with a smile and not even a second thought on making this particular store their home store. I have seen her drop her what she is doing to assist not just guests but her co-workers. She is always pleasant and willing to take on multiple responsibility and roles in the best combination of teamwork and leadership skills I have witnessed. It would be such a a power move for this location and possibly even all the way up to a corporate management position. Not only is Food Lion blessed and lucky to have the opportunity to obtain such an amazing employee, but so are the loyal customers and new visitors who get the pleasure of quality customer service! Please please give her a 20 out of 10. She deserves it and y’all are lucky to have her work there!

This has to be the most understocked Food Lion I have ever seen. It also doesn't matter how many times you complain to corporate about it, nothing ever seems to be done. It is ashamed when you realize that a Food Lion warehouse is not far from Windsor. It is also ashamed that you can travel twenty minutes to the Food Lion on Godwin Blvd in Suffolk and not only are they fully stocked the selections for just about everything are much better.

It's taken me a minute to get use to this Food Lion. I don't care for the self check out do they really need that many? It works if you have just a few items. The meat department is great and their shelves are always stocked properly! I will always be a Food Lion Girl!

Their meat is awesome, even their stew (beef) meat is top quality. They don't rip off customers and throw scraps in there to get rid of what they can't sell. When the butcher is good, the store is good. Very friendly workers and easy to find all items.

The efficiency and organization of a franchise, with the friendly, helpful staff of a small-town grocery store. When desperate times called for desperate measures, and I had to use their "To-Go" app, I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was, and even how personal it was, since I'd accidentally chosen the wrong item (and because they know their customers enough to know it was wrong), they even sent me a message to double-check/confirm my item selection. And upon pickup, the nice lady who brought my items out insisted on helping me load them, and even assured me that she got me the biggest fresh turkey she could find (which couldn't have been easy on the day before Thanksgiving).

Not our regular FL. In Windsor, VA for another reason and decided to buy groceries in Windsor instead of going home and then going to our regular FL. Cut out 15 miles of driving and 45 minutes.The store is smaller than the FL that go to but had all we were looking for.

The store was clean. But they were out of everything. I couldn't get even one six pack of bottle Pepsi. They didn't have ANY CIGARETTES. THE The cashier said she didn't know when they were getting any. They didn't know why they wasn't getting any.

Went there with the kids. They are 6 and 2 and talk a lit. They have a wild imagination. The cashier was very nice and talked to them while doing her job. Loved the friendliness and the kids loved that they were being heard so they were super quiet and well behaved I appreciated the help.

Clean. Wide aisles. Stocked as well as can be with the current supply issues. Friendly employees. The only issue I have is the "local" produce section features fruit and veg from too far away considering this is a prolific farming town.

For a small rural town I feel like our Food Lion is well stocked with a good variety of food, both fresh and “pantry”. I rarely need to go elsewhere unless I’m looking for something specific and a little more exotic or specialized. The staff has always been friendly and polite, the bathroom clean, and the store itself clean.

The store is newly renovated and the employees are always great! They have grocery pick up option for a fee that I have yet to use but it's a nice option for a mom of two or elderly customers. The prices aren't as good as Kroger or Walmart but the ease and location of this Food Lion makes it worth it to go just out of convenience.

I don’t know where some of these other recent reviews came from. This store has been way under stocked since the beginning of the pandemic. Other stores that receive their products from the same distribution center (Disputanta) are much better stocked than this one and the stores stocked out of the Salisbury distribution center are even better stocked. Today, there was such low inventory, I felt as if we were back in the first days of the pandemic. Not much on the shelf and what was there was very high priced (yeah, another result of the disruptions in the supply chain). I can somewhat deal with that, but when I got to the checkout line, the cashier was more interested in carrying on a conversation with a coworker, never even spoke to me until she, without looking at me, thrust my torn receipt in my hand. Definitely not the “friendly service” people have known in the past from this store. Management is key.

Phone for curbside pick up was busy for 30 min. When the FL person came out to load another vehicle, the person didn't bother to ask if I had been helped. When I asked if they could bring out my order because the phone line was busy, their response was " I don't handle the phones". A total lack of customer service.

From outside the area bright and restocking, clerks I spoke to friendly and helpful. The only bad thing was the person in front of me (I had 5 items) in the express lane and she had about 30 and must have known the checker cause they spent the entire time talking about their hurt shoulders.
