So conveniently located, I was passing through and stopped at Roy Rogers and noticed the store from there. So easy to get to, parking up front and easy entryway. Pets are welcomed on a leash according to their sign. The store was supremely well stocked, clean and organized. There were shelves with sale items there. The cashier/clerk was a young gentleman who was super friendly, attentive, down to earth, helpful and informative! He helped me find what I needed and the checkout went smoothly and quickly! Very pleasantly surprised! I just wish I would've thought to take some pictures inside to show how well stocked and clean it was, with a wide variety of products.

The staff at this location really do LOVE their jobs and the animals. My dog gets so excited when we pull up in front of the store because he gets so much love and attention from the staff. They truly take care of him (and me) when we shop. Matt and Christine have went ABOVE AND BEYOND with helping me find a dog food to help with my dogs sensitive skin and recurrent ear infections. They recommended an ear wash that was extremely helpful as well. They provided me with samples to try and personal stories to really help me in making an educated decision. My dogs skin has cleared up, his coat is shiny, and his ears are looking MUCH better. Their kindness and dedication helped my dog dramatically and is what keeps me coming back over and over. Thank you guys for being so great!

All the staff here is really friendly and helpful. We have 4 dogs and it's always a mess taking them to get bathed. Staff always goes out of their way help us and never seems to mind the chaos we bring. They remember our dogs and what we like to buy them as treats. Matt especially always recommends stuff based on our dogs likes/needs. He always offers to help me carry things to my car as well. These people really care about pets/people and it shows. They are very knowledgeable about a wide variety of pet care. Quality products and quality people at Pet Valu in Winchester, VA.

Best pet store I have ever shopped at! Knowledgeable staff, fantastic and high quality items to choose from and LOVE the Rewards program. Dog wash is excellent. Their support of local pet rescues is amazing and shows their community spirit .I don't shop anywhere but Pet Valu Winchester!

The staff at this store are amazing. The store itself has a wide selection of food, treats, and toys, and there's always something new to tempt me into spoiling my pup. Beyond that, the staff always greet you right when you walk in, and are so knowledgeable and helpful with any question a pet owner might have. I never leave disappointed!

My roommate and I are adopting a new puppy, we walked in this afternoon and were greeted by every employee in the store. An employee named Shannon immediately asked if there was anything we needed help finding and we actually did. She took the time to walk us around the store finding everything we needed and also explained why some products were better for what we needed and even made several recommendations for things we might need!! We loved our experience and can’t wait to go back, hopefully when Shannon is working!

This is my one stop shop for everything my pets will ever need ! Everyone in the Pet Valu is amazing! They greet you as soon as you step in the door and are always willing to help! From answering questions, to finding local pet sitters, giving back to the community and they even help you to the car if you need ! And hey that $10 dog wash really comes in handy for my stinky pups! Whenever we step into the store they are sure to make us feel like we are home ! It’s great to have a store who treats you like family! They even remember all of my critters names !!

This is the best pet supply store I have ever dealt with.They have an extensive variety of cat and dog foods, especially in the special diet/special needs category.The staff is patiently helpful and very knowledgeable regarding pets with special dietary needs and were indispensable in helping me find foods that my, allergic and oh so finicky, cat would take to. In summary, they have everything you need for your pet no matter the species. Oh and they have,what I've been told is, the best and most reasonably priced dog wash service in the area, and they partner with the local ASPCA in adoption services.Give this business a try. You will be glad you dud, and so will your four legged family members.

This place offers the best washing tubs for dogs in the northern va, eastern wv, and southern dc area! I will always come to the Winchester location for washes because the environment is clean and the staff is friendly! They usually have kittens to adopt and they are just the cutest little fur ball babies! The inventory is always stocked and the variety of treats and toys for all pets is just wonderful! I'm so glad to have discovered this spot with my fiance to take our dalmatian for bathing and treats! Thank you pet valu!

Love this place. They have a wide selection of QUALITY pet food, treats and toys. Their self service dog washing area beats paying for a groomer. They even supply soaps and towels! My dog loves coming here.

Excellent store with a wide range of products! The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. Pet Valu also has the added benefit of having a self-service dog wash and of course if you bring your pet to shop they are always spoiled with attention. 5/5 stars, keep up the great work!

The young man working in the store was very helpful in regards to our german Shepard puppy and the foods we should consider for him. He also gave samples of the other flavors once we decided on a brand. I was very pleased with his knowledge and his customer service was top notch!

I love it! I go there to give my dog a bath and it is so amazing! Its very clean and looks great:) always a pleasant experience. The staff are super nice and helpful as well. Never had a bad time😁

Just went in there. Mind you my past experiences with this place have been phenomenal!! But it may have been the staff that was on too. The woman when I went it was very short and rude and asked me why I was ther....well let's see I have 100 pound dog on a leash.....I'm here to give my dog a bath. She was very short with me then as she was cleaning the tub area. Not the best customer service.....my past visits here have always been great!! Too bad for one employee who has a poor attitude.

My husband and I just left there a little bit ago. As soon as we walked in we were asked what brought us in today, I told her animal bedding and she didn’t respond. I could tell by her tone that she was annoyed that we came in. My husband and I both wore masks in. We were asked to keep them on. Which is completely understandable why the attitude?? She was extremely rude from the moment we walked in. First time in that store and I will not shop there again.

We try to support small local businesses. They are a small store. We went to look at fish for our tank but they only sell Beta's. Smaller selection than the big pet stores but the staff is friendly and the prices are good.

The young ladies that work there truly love animals. They are ways glad to see Koda when she comes in and are so encouraging of my pup when she is going about the store trying out or picking out her new toys or treats. They play with her and recommend healthy snacks for her. Koda gets so excited when we pull in and park...it's her favorite store.

Very helpful associates. They have chew sticks my dog really loves and I'm really picky what I give her. Plus, they are only a couple of miles from my home. Very convenient.

This is a friendly location. Any dog owner can walk in and give their dog a bath. While I am there, I bathe my dog, brush his teeth, and trim his nails. I paid $10 and so can you!!!
