I have been shopping at this Martins since it first opened. It is impeccably clean, has a great variety of local, specialty, and everyday value brands. I especially like the vegan, healthy, and international areas of the store. The managers are fabulous. Luke is very fair with his customer service and quick to make thing right with customers. Don ismy favorite and I have witnessed his ability to bring humor into situations that could have become tense with other customers. He is also very respectful toward the other Martins employees. Will, is so kind and I really appreciate how he asks me if I am doing well when I shop. He goes the extra mile to help customers with disabilities like myself. He has also been valuable with helping me locate items since the remodel. I love the new store look by the way! Another employee that I really appreciate is Carmen in floral. Wow, she is amazing and honestly has the best selections of custom and ready to purchase floral item out of all the Martins in the Winchester area. Furthermore, I am most grateful for the many clerks and cart staff that made my shopping such a safe and pleasant experience. Honestly, the best Martins in the Virginia and West Virginia area.

Visited in October 2014. At Martin’s in Winchester, VA, there is an opportunity to purchase individual beers or a 6-pack of assorted singles. However, the selection is quite limited. Despite this, I was able to discover six new beers. The rest of the selection is typical of what you’d find in a supermarket. The store operates 24/7, and I found that the beer shelf wasn’t too crowded at 6 am.

Highest grocery prices in town even when it's on sale. Limes were two for a dollar and they charged me $1.34! Wasn't worth my time standing around in customer service. Every time I go in a pinch they screw something up or workers are rude to customers. Produce looked like it needed to be tossed out and replaced with something fresh.

Had a wide variety of things to choose from from produce to seafood, looked to have a good deli selection to pick from. Unfortunately the one item I was looking for they were sold out of at the time but I was able to find a suitable alternative.

Usually has the cookin veg and fresh herbs.. I prefer it to Superwalmart but the prices are usually slightly higher. Always beautiful fresh flowers for all the things I'm ABOUT to do wrong, lol . I never leave empty handed

This Martin's and all the martins are great. But if you don't look like you have money or should even shopping there the workers look at you a little different I don't think my look is different then anyones elses I have a lip piercing that's about it but they always give me some kind of weird attitude everybody I don't know it's just me or what. But everything in there just great but the attitude and looks I get. I must not have a blonde short bob with a Rolex And a Mercedes.

Spent millions updating this store. And clearly they're now totally in bed with Nature's Promise... which is a brand I had always been a fan of previously. Since that revamp in late 2023, however, many of the products I used to get here are no longer available! Supplanted with a NatProm version 😤This has caused me to start going to alternative grocery stores more frequently (Food Maxx is awesome!!).What were they thinking? That they have a monopoly on Winchester? 🤷 Not so fast, Martin's.

The store is a great place to get the things u need. But right now u don't know where things are cause moving things around. U spend longer in the store then u need to. I just wish could leave things like they are cause people don't like change and everything is changing in the store.. and when u need to find someone that works there they can't be found any where. So place stop doing these things.

I went in Saturday morning just before 10am my sons birthday party was at 2pm I was going to make his cake but due to stress and not enough time I wasn’t able to. I asked the lady working how long it would take to make a cake with Mickey Mouse print (I needed it before 2pm) she said that they ask 24 and she helped me pick out a cake and she added his name and “1st” between happy and birthday. Then I said I also wanted to have a smash cake and she didn’t see one so she offered to put one together if I had a few minutes so I did my shopping and came back and she had both cakes ready. She was super pleasant and very sweet and on top of that the cake looked and tasted better than I could have imagined! I still am so very grateful to her!

Rotten food. Absolutely disgusting. There is no way they are storing their meat at the correct temperature; 1 day before sell by date and chicken is already rotten, turning green, and stinking to high heaven. Raspberries are not marked with a date so you have to guess. Got them home, less than a 5 minute drive to the hotel across the parking lot, and all the ones in the middle under the label are moldy.

Its sad that this place won't let u you use digital coupon if you don't have a computer or smartphone. Not all older people have computers or use smart phones. Very discriminative if you ask me

Store is large, therefore it is sometimes hard to find everything you come for. They have some great sales, otherwise it is very expensive.

Product availability: decent although some spots were bare. "Customer Service" non-existent. Deli manager had to be flagged down, even though I was the only person there. Young lady at the self-checkout was too busy texting to notice when one of those ratchet machines started in with the "please wait - help is on the way". The scanner, itself, needed a serious cleaning; it didn't register much on the 1st swipe. Do better - I know you can - I've seen it.

The attendant for the self checkout was very patient with me. I did not have a rewards card and she helped me get the discounts. I messed up when the machine said to enter coupons, even though I didn't have any, and the attendant had to reset so I could pay. Then the machine gave 32 cents change when I was only due 23, and the attendant helped return the dime.I think the staff was good, not so much the electronic system.

They are a good and reliable grocery store and seem to be staffed about as well or better than other food suppliers in the area. Would love to see a more modern/premium design for their stores though.Pickup is usually pretty good other than if you schedule a late slot, they will call and try to get you in sooner so they can go home. One time we had the drive-up staff go home before we picked up our order (on-time) so we had to wait while someone re-picked it (I guess the original got lost), but they were super apologetic and made it right -- so it ended up being a positive experience instead of a negative one. To me, that's a sign of good leadership and empowered employees so that was nice to see.

Store is undergoing renovation, bit of a mess. Not many cashiers available forcing the use of self checkout. Prices higher than other stores in the region, but Martin's has a monopoly in the north end of Frederick County.

Its okay. I like the scanners you can use to shop. Makes checking out faster. Self checkout lanes aren't great though. Constantly feels like I need assistance as it won't scan something or it starts having issues with you moving items after being scanned.

High-end hamburger for an above-average grilling experience.Get some Boar's Head Deli Style mustard with white wine and horseradish to really enhance the flavor.Yum!!!
