This Walmart Supercenter is located in Williamsburg, Virginia. It is a Super store. This may be the largest Walmart that we have ever been in. It is also very well stocked. Everything was very clean. They have plenty of parking spaces but be prepared to walk more than most stores. They have a lot of numbered spaces for pickup. And that takes away from close parking to the store. Also they do not have a gas station. Which we were surprised that they didn’t have. They do have a Sonic next door and a Lowe’s on the other side. We recommend this store.

I had looked for affordable Virginia Tee-shirts and Sourvenirs and finally found them here. Very neat and organized. The staff were helpful

Very nice and clean store. They also have a great selection of wine and beer 🍺. To choose from. They even have a beautiful dish to decorate your home and kitchen . The staff was very friendly and very helpful, knowledgeable of the products in the store . Any time I am in the area I would definitely go back and visit again.

We entered the store and proceeded to the electronics department to purchase Christmas gifts. Although there was a line, there were no employees present. Suddenly, a dissatisfied employee appeared. To avoid the crowded line, we decided to take a stroll around the store. Unfortunately, upon returning to the electronics section, we found it still unstaffed, which was quite frustrating. We noticed three employees wandering around, seemingly oblivious to the growing queue of customers. Additionally, two elderly individuals had been waiting for approximately 15 minutes. I felt compelled to raise my voice and request assistance. Once again, the disgruntled employee approached, but instead of providing immediate help, she began offering excuses about her workload and lack of breaks or lunch since early morning. It is unfortunate that Walmart puts their senior employees in such challenging situations.WALMART SHOULD STRIVE FOR IMPROVEMENT IN ITS SERVICES.

After walking around the store for nearly 30 minutes trying to find a pool that was in stock but not on the shelf, we were finally assisted by the store manager Stephanie who was able to assist us promptly. She found the item for us and even had Casey and Victor assist us getting it into our vehicle. She was very knowledgeable and caring towards the customer. She made this customer very happy!!!

Nice store remodel. Tamara is one of the best dept manager I have encounter so far at this store. Pharmacy techs Beverly and Roshell are very knowledgeable, helpful and caring, they make sure you get what you need and on time.

Unfortunately , I left feeling quite disappointed due to the level of service I received. Despite arriving promptly for my oil change, I found myself waiting for an extended period before I could speak with the manager . Moreover, when I finally had the opportunity to address my concerns, I felt that the manager demeanor was dismissive and unprofessional. It was disheartening to be kept waiting while he attended to multiple phone calls, without any acknowledgment of my time or the inconvenience I was experiencing.I’ve been a loyal customer of Walmart for years, and I’ve always appreciated the convenience and efficiency of automotive services. However, this recent encounter fell short of my expectations. Waiting for over 30 minutes just to be told that I needed to make an appointment for an oil change was unexpected and frustrating, particularly as this hasn’t been the norm in my previous experiences at Walmart.

Wow! This is one of the first Walmart stores I've been to where it felt so refreshing to enter and shop. It was like entering a department store. So clean and ORGANIZED!!! We came in for one item and left out with over $200 worth of items (including seasonal things for V-Day/Easter). What a GREAT experience!! 👌🏽 I wish all of the chains had this type of management display!

Walmart did a phenomenal job baking and decorating cupcakes for our NHS ceremony. My request was met though a phone order without issue. The cupcakes were ready early, and delicious!

This store is perpetually short staffed in every department except the checkout police. Try and get help in sporting goods. I was there today to buy a knife out of the case. There wasn't anyone working in the whole department. There was a guy looking at bb guns with his kid that left after I had been there about 5 minutes. As he left he said "they told me someone was coming in 20 minutes about 10 minutes ago." I waited around for another 10 minutes. I was sitting on the counter waiting when I finally got frustrated and yelled out "HELLO? ANYONE?" at which point one of the three automotive employees that were by their counter says " There won't be anybody there for anther 20 minutes..." to which I respond "then you should put a note out or something" which got.me the response of "We're not allowed to." To which I responded... "Then someone needs to let us know that...." more words were said and I'm sure I'm the bad guy here because you know, my time is not valuable in Sam Waltons world. All of this is on the very elaborate and i assume well manned security cameras. Bottom line... they have 40 employees running around the store doing online orders, 4 people checking your receipts after you check yourself out under the watchful eye of two.other people in the self checkout lane, one active and one sedentary employee in customer service and no-one to open a cabinet for you in sporting goods. Well the time just changed and it's early Sunday morning. I came in looking for a mailbox couldn't find it ,so I ask a young African American female for assistance. She was filling one of the blue cart orders. I must have asked to much she started out with a attitude. Too early for that. I'll find a new mailbox at lowes.

Customer service never answers the phone neither does any other department! The store operator doesnt even answer the phone for customers trying to get questions answered. The bakery is by far the worst when it comes to placing cake orders over the phone because they simply dont pick up. I like the store but the service is minimal to none for some folks.

What was I thinking!? It must have been the savings I was seeking, and I did save money- but save my sanity, no way. Store is fresh remodel, looks fabulous. This location actually had produce, amazing! Things were looking up until I reached checkout- I have a cart load, angry cashiers, very few, 2 registers open out of 30…..meanwhile I debate on abandoning my cart and reshopping at Harris teater and probably still come out ahead….what was I thinking….sigh, shrimp thawing and starting to reak like the employees

Probably the cleanest and best stocked Walmart I've seen. Most are lucky to be 3 star and this one was great. It deserves the 5 star rating

2023-12-26Too loud. I'm not a fan of the bare walls and floors. Between the music, the people, the echoes, I couldn't carry on a conversation if the person stood 2 inches from my face. I had trouble asking for help as we couldn't hear each other.They've moved things around again. Moving merchandise to different locations and moving some shelf units doesn't mske thevstore better.Prices are good. But they have soooo many of an item it makes it hard to find what you are looking for.Do not use the self checkout. Use a clerk. Unless you are only buying one or two items it is not worth getting hasseled when you leave.It's not a bad place, I find it hard to bargain hunt there because the aisles are too small for the number of people there and I can't wait to leave after only 20 or so minutes.They are pretty much forcing you to buy online and either pickup in store and leave or have it delivered to your home.

The employees are lazy and rude. The parking lot caters to customers too lazy to shop for themselves. Their sensory-friendly hours mention changes to sight and sound, being friendly to the eyes and ears, but all they do is turn the music off. Despite trying desperately to be like Target, it's still just a Wal-Mart.

They ain't the friendless. I've had trouble with automotive waiting two hours and then after Christmas trouble because of a video game. They aint that caring here but guess it's what happens in a rich community that are high dollar and better then everyone.

Their employees are too busy filling online orders instead of helping customers in the store. They have taken out three rows of critical parking spaces in their poorly designed lot to cater to these online orders which detracts from the in-person shopping experience causing unnecessary parking issues for customers.Also, stop threatening to tow customers. You're the one taking away all the parking spots because of your poor decision to put pick-up at the front of the store.Self-checkout is antiquated, still doesn't have tap to pay, and Walmart keeps trying to force us to pay through their app instead of with tap because they can't seem to update their practices to meet current standards.

It's only 3 miles away from my vacation lodging... Yeah, I can see that it's way bigger than the Walmart stores in Tri-States area.. Not feeling any hassle shopping at this huge space. Indeed, this really help to get customers spend more time and money here....

I had some tires change out in norfolk, and they failed 3 of them o e in less than 2 miles. The other in less than 150 miles. I had found the third one with the same problem bad value stem. Apparently, the norfolk team must have used the same valve stems. Yes, it's standard procedure to change these things when you have new tires installed. But come on, team Norfolk, get it right. it's a simple valve stem. They never even did the free tire monitoring service. They had two flats from their work in under 150 miles. One, it was 17 Degrees outside. I am a disabled veteran yes I pushed through. The other was 10 minutes from the completion of their job. I gave the team Williamsburg 200%, and the team talks to you during the task in hand, telling you what they find and how they correct it. Well, if you're in need of some kind of work, go Williamsburg.
