I use their Food Lion To Go service. They shop so I don't have to. The shoppers are pretty good, and the app lets you pick your own substitutions. You can also gi e them notes/instructions for each item. I love it.

I don’t even want to give a one star! The online grocery pick up is trash. It’s a joke! It’s suppose to be convenient to just order pick up and go. But even creating an account after spending time to pick out the groceries you need every single email address I’ve used said it’s already linked to an account (which is impossible) even went and made a whole new email address and it still told me the same thing. IF I was lucky enough at some point to get to where I needed a verification code it would never send it. Would eventually say something about an error. Went and tried to change the password would let me do that but then proceeded to tell me the password I entered was incorrect at login.

Today solidified my decision to never shop at this store again. I always use food Lion to go. I in the past have had issues with the store and the to go service but out of desperation I gave it one more shot today. Absolutely no communication from shopper about replacements. Finally at the time that I had chosen I go into the app to see that my order is in fact ready. So I had to the store to pick it up. I follow all of the prompts to let the store know that I am there and I proceed to wait for 30 minutes. There to go associate brought out another order and I asked the young man if he knows anything about my order because I've been waiting. I was then told that I was nowhere in the system My name did not exist that I would need to go in and speak to customer service.. upon waiting the manager gets on the phone. Does not give me her name or her title just simply says hello. I'm a little confused at this moment cuz I don't even know who I'm speaking to because she would not tell me until then I asked am I speaking to the manager. I proceed to tell her my issue of trying to pick up an order that I'm being told does not exist in their system. She then proceeds to ask me if I'm 100% sure that I'm at the right store. I give her the store address which then she tells me she doesn't even know the store's address and starts fumbling around I guess looking for the store that she works at. At that very minute the associate just shows back up with a basket full of groceries. My grocery order somehow appeared which I was thankful for but I had to ask what the issue was because I was not freely given that information. The young man seems shocked by my question and really never gave me an answer. I have Mark this food Lion off my list for certain this time. Why offer a service of convenience when it's more inconvenient and I pay extra to be inconvenienced. You have to do better food Lion

Well stocked, helpful staff. wish it had a broader selection, but that may be due to the overall Food Lyon philosophy. Parking is tight and drivers can be rude as you try to get in/out.

Nice, unusual layout for a Food Lion. It seemed easier to find what I came in for. Customer Service is located right next to the entry, so you get a greeting upon entering and as you leave.

I like this Food Lion. Nice spacing. disorganized shopping list, needs easy to read tags on the isles to know what you are looking for. Found everything I needed for meatloaf, now everyone is happy.

Overall good place to shop, especially because of the staff who are friendly and helpful. As to products, not sure how they order stock but it's really lame. Every other grocery trip takes me to their closest competitor, so I can get Indian frozen dinners, Guinness NA, marmalade, and all the stuff they can't be bothered to keep in stock. I average about $150 a trip; pity they miss out on half of my business.

As soon as I walked in the door an employee approached me and asked if she could help me find anything. She then proceeded to walk me to the item and load them into my cart. When there wasn't anymore on the shelf, she went to the back to check for anymore. She came back, told me there wasn't but that a truck was expected later on. I feel that she went above and beyond to help me! I will definitely be doing more of my shopping in this store!!

I went looking for a specific item. An employee stopped what he was doing to help me find the person who would know if there were more in stock. The second employee stopped what he was working on to help me get the quantity and size I needed. The store was clean and well stocked, and the produce was fresh and attractively arranged.

It's a mid-sized neighborhood grocery store. It has a good selection of products. A lot of different kinds of meats and good prices and sales on meats. The store is clean and employees are friendly. I was in there recently to pick up a few items. It wasn't too crowded and I was in and out in 20 minutes.

I got some great deals today! I usually only run in quick to Food Lion because they are the only ones who carry the apples we like. But today there were some great deals in both the meat department and the deli. And the staff was super friendly! Excellent visit today!

I love our Food Lion store! They have the best products, awesome low prices and the friendliest employees. All the staff members are so nice, polite and helpful! From the front Customer Service Desk employees, employees at the different departments, all the way to the stock clerks! They always speak every time I go in to shop and are so helpful if ever needed! Thank you all for being there and still being kind and courteous. Especially with all the scary (viruses and such) and negative things happening in the world now days.

I ran in about 10 minutes before closing and grabbed the items I needed, which were all over the store, and got in line with about 3 minutes to spare. The cashier and the crew of employees working that night were happy, smiling and very patient as I hit a wrong button on my card and had to start over; only to again hit the wrong button and had start over for the third time before finally getting it right!The crew looked like they enjoyed being there together, It's nice to see smiling faces as you are one of the last people out and you don't feel rushed out of the store at closing.

Love this food lion! The employees are friendly and helpful and the store is always so clean. The stockers always do their best to keep the shelves full, with the help of their awesome grocery manager, and front end tries to get us in and out as fast as possible! Also, their management is MY FAVORITE out of all the food lions in Williamsburg.

I'm a Food Lion lover. Today I was at my children's home so on my way back I stopped to see if this location had some items my usual stores had been out for a couple big months. As it happened they had gotten an order today. I bought five. The staff here is superb. The cashier, the two ladies who helped me were so efficient and kind. Everyone gets an A+.
