Best hot dog I've had in years. That is not an over statement, the actual dogs are grilled and have that wonderful crisp edge to them. They had 3 different kinds of actual dogs. I got a regular and a foot long. Both were great on perfectly soft buns. Now onto toppings.... Wow. I got a 'lord of the rings' dog with bacon, hot honey, and onion rings. It was crazy great taste and I still loved the hot dog taste. The staff is more concerned about you having a great experience than you are. Simply put it was refreshing, great and delicious. If your looking for a great hot dog in a little counter service place this place will make you smile. I will be back.

Our 1st visit and certainly not our last. I had the German dog, my husband chose the American and the chili dog. All were perfectly delicious and there are many more choices for future visits. The fries were also amazing and not to be missed. Our server, Chelsea was delightful, cheerful, and eager to help. The owner also stopped by our table to chat. Do give Dominion Dogs a try-you will not be disappointed!

Had the “Coney” Footlong (Chili, Chopped Onions, Mustard). I’m only giving 2 stars because my hot dog was two seconds from being burnt on one side. I didn’t get a new one because I had a take out order and I was a distance away already. Other than that, the edible part of the dog and the chili tasted good. Be warned this is not a cheap eats spot. My meal was one cent shy of ten bucks for a footlong dog and a soda. I’m still gonna give you guys another chance though to see if the burnt dog was just a lunch rush mistake?

We all loved the footlong hot dogs and crinkle fries! Among our group we got the Chicago dog, West Virginia dog (+ relish), two German dogs, Arizona, and an Arizona (+ cheese). Our little ones loved the mini corn dogs (+milk and fries) and a small side of BBQ. But- as a parent my favorite feature is the changing table (+ Disinfecting wipes!) and high chairs. Thankful for this local business while visiting family.Parking: Park in the large James York Plaza shopping center plaza.Kid-friendliness: High chairs, changing tables, easy environment to have kiddos in.

My wife and I were in Williamsburg today and we checked out Dominion Dogs on the recommendation of some friends. Let me tel y’all, I was blown away and I’m never really blown away by hot dogs! My wife ordered the coney which was traditional with chili, mustard & onions. I ordered the low country with pimento cheese and pepper jelly, and the burnt end sausage with spicy mustard and onion. Along with chili cheese fries (amazing but I wish I asked for onions on it). We both agreed it was the best hot dogs we’ve ever had! Flavors were amazing, and the snap on the dog was literally perfect. On top of it all, the owner and staff were genuinely kind and curtious! If you are in Williamsburg I highly recommend you trying this spot out!

First time here and while the employees were pleasant, the hot dogs were small but good . Our Chicago dogs needed to have a poppy seed bun. The side of Cole slaw for $2 was outrageously tiny. Please see picture below. The tiny container was not even filled. The biggest issue we had was for the credit card fee on the receipt. They probably should have a notice up about that. We did not see one, if we would have we would have never used our credit card. While the hot dogs were tasty , they are a little too pricey for the portions and unfortunately this is probably not a place we would frequent often.

The food truck was my first experience. Then announcement for the restaurant. Now it is open and what a delight. The design is a bit nastalgic but the equipment and furniture are modern.Family oriented and also serve a variety of beer both on tap and can. *****Vegetarian options: Every menu item may be substituted with a plant based option .Parking: Huge lot in the James York PlazaWheelchair accessibility: No obstacles

I’m so glad Dave has finally opened a brick and mortar restaurant! I’ve chased his hot dog cart all over Williamsburg over the past six months. The new restaurant is ALL new and my first visit did not disappoint. Great food, great atmosphere, beautifully furnished and staffed. The food is fresh, abundant and well priced. This will definitely be on my weekly list of places to eat.

LOVE Dominion Dogs! Been following them since they were just a food cart, and even though I no longer live in Williamsburg full-time, I still stop by multiple times when I am back. My fiancé and I even talk about how much we miss DD when we are out of town. Was super excited to finally see the actual restaurant and it looks great! The staff is super friendly and helpful and its a nice place to hang out and enjoy a dog. I love the low-country dog, but have tried multiple others and they never disappoint. The friedpickles are awesome! The prices are super affordable for a small lunch/snack and the food comes out hot and fresh. My fiance and I spent under $20 for two dogs and some fried pickles! I always recommend Dominion dogs and always bring my friends to grab a dog when I can.Dominion Dogs rocks, 110% worth checking out!

The owner is super friendly and knowledgeable about his dogs—this is important if you are a serious dog lover. AMAZING!! I love a good hot dog and this place takes it to a whole new level. The staff is friendly and I love seeing owners being hands on. Me and my fiance got 3 different dogs and fried pickles. Everything is high quality and delicious!! The kitchen is open, so you can watch your order being prepared and no worries about the cleanliness of an out of view kitchen. The inside is super cute and themed well. I will be recommending them anytime someone wants a good hot dog. Show this small business some ❤️❤️

I LOVE Dominion Dogs. I have to admit I have not been to the actual restaurant yet, that's coming very soon, but we have twice enjoyed their mobile food cart dogs at two private events. So go in and try one of their amazing creations and if you ever think of having a party, get the team there to roll out the mobile food cart. I'll definitely have the cart out to our next event.

We have been here twice now and let me start by saying the hot dogs are a 10 out of 10, I mean phenomenal to be a hot dog. Unfortunately the second time we came in no one spoke to us when we entered. (2 other people came in after us & were spoken to) my husband is black if that clears anything up…. Everyone else was white. That made my husband and myself very uncomfortable. So it’s concerning to me… the cashier had short hair and glasses this time, our first experience was polar opposite. The cashier had longer hair and was such a sweet lady. I would have a conversation with your employees on how to treat ALL of your guests the same. Would be a shame to lose business because of a bad employee.(Edit to Add-the employee was on their phone when we got there and no one else was in the restaurant when we came in. So being preoccupied was not the case, they looked at us and said nothing and this time they were both white so it wasn’t a diverse staff during this experience.)

I had the very pleasant experience of being treated by my son to lunch at Dominion Dogs on Saturday. We were greeted quickly by a very friendly employee who eagerly answered all of our questions. The combinations of the different hot dogs with the ingredients were posted on the wall and easy to read. Our food was brought out promptly, and everything was presented well and absolutely delicious. On our way out we had the opportunity to chat with one of the owners, and she was very likable and thanked us for our business. The spot is definitely a must visit for anyone who enjoys delicious dogs served up by friendly folks. We will be back very soon!

Hot Diggity dog and let me be absolutely frank with you. This place is awesome and has all the classics from the spectacular West Virginia with coleslaw to specialty items like the Elvis dog. If you like hotdogs, this is the place to visit. It is one of those places that you realize as soon as you walk in that the staff Enjoys their job and takes pleasure in their product, great job.

UPDATEHubby and I came back this week since we had such an enjoyable lunch here last week...but sadly, we did not and I felt the need to update my review.Customer service was awful today, food came messy and buns were cold, we ordered a large fired pickles and small was brought out. To rectify the situation they brought out another small container with THREE pickles in it...like why?A boyfriend or friend of an employee came in, ordered food and a beer, didn't pay for it...and got his food faster than paying customers.Seems like the owners need to be on site to ensure that their restaurant doesn't go downhill.So sad that what brought us back this week wasn't there.So glad hubby and I stopped in to try this new spot! The food was INCREDIBLE....the fried pickles with the hot honey was soooo good! Hot dogs come loaded with toppings, well worth your money! Staff was friendly and made sure we were taken care of! Hubby will be stopping by after work for their happy hour as well. Perfect spot for lunch or after work!!
