Ummm so today I went to the store today to go get my daughter some wipes and some allergy drops for my eyes today and when I walked up to the cash register today a guy name rich approached me being very rude falsely accusing me of going down a dollar section and grabbing scissors and doing something with them saying I match the guy description cause I have tattoos to mind you I asked the guy show me cameras and he refused too and said I was wearing camo pants and jus had tattoos and my tattoos matched the guy description and to mind you I can tell you what I ever worn in that store only been in this store like 3 times everytime I was with my little daughter and my girlfriend I have no reason to lie about something I really feel like I was being harassed and got into contact with customer support and the non emergency number because that was inappropriate behavior by the dollar general employee of falsely accusing me of doing something that I didn’t do rich wasn’t even acting by the book he acted like he was on drugs moving weird couldn’t stand straight and smelt like alcohol.

The store was fully stocked, the aisles identifiable by signs, they have a little bit of everything from food, personal necessities, gifts, cards, art supplies etc. Shopping was made easy and the pricing compared evenly with competitors.

this was actually a decent-sized or seem to have had anything that you would have needed and well-organized all of the staff was wearing masks and there were markers on the floor for shoppers to say 6 feet apart I just want to mention that part considering there's a pandemic and the health and safety of employees and shoppers seemed to be a priority at this location

Enjoy shopping at the New store, it's much bigger than the original one.The new DG is further up Richmond Rd in the Toano area. More space to move around, always has what I need and the people are friendly. The prices are good too.

Just wish that when you have a very very slow cashier and the manager comes up and sees a line at the register, that they would consider customer service to be a little more important than disappearing back into the back of the store, at a very leisurely pace (which indicated to me, that whatever was back there, wasn't very pressing). My visit was on 2/2/2019 @7pm.

Love the new store... much bigger it is not as cramped as the previous location which puts everybody customers and employees in a much better mood because you're not playing bumper baskets and knocking things over!

Even though it is always a bit unsettled, I like the newer one on Richmond road. The people are friendly and I can find things there that are not in other places. It's a bit like a more manageable Walmart!

Selection is good and the store appears to be decently well kept but the isles are constantly full of inventory carts which are difficult to get around.

Very good place for lots of great prices, everyday goods. The stores can be a little crowded when they are replacing inventory but it's not a deterrent.

We stopped in during Christmas. The place was in absolute disarray, extremely crowded. They were doing the best they could, but you could tell the staff was overwhelmed.

I come here all the time ! I can find any and everything I need pretty much ! Only thing that bothers me is theres boxes and crates in the way of some aisles every time I go there.
