My 3-year-old had an absolute blast running around picking out her stuffed animal (Kitty), stuffing it with the (friendly and helpful) employee, then picking out a few accessories. The other employee who checked us out was super bubbly, and my daughter loved it.A note on the high prices: we have experience with Build-A-Bear, so we knew going into it that their prices are pretty high. We were actually surprised that our bill wasn't more, and we're super happy with the experience. Just know ahead of time that some items are pricey, so plan accordingly.

We went to get our baby girl's heart beat in her bear. They made the experience wonderful and we are so happy with the outcome. We even got the new Hello Kitty bag for her sweet bear.

My kids love this place. The workers there are real nice and it’s truly a great experience for your little ones.I keep wondering if they ever going to sell me that big enormous bear in front. I joke about it all the time. But I really want to buy it lol. But it’s not for saleGreat experience

We took a 5 day trip to enjoy the rich history of Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown. Also, we love shopping. My granddaughter was so happy with her experience and memory stuffed animal on last full day of our trip.

Employees are super sweet and extremely helpful. They also let you look around without bugging you every 5 seconds. The store is really clean and well organized. You can find the items you want very easy. Overall, this is the best Build-a-Bear!

The salespeople were terrific with the kids. My child got a little hyper, so we had to leave quickly. We have bought there a couple of times and the store is just great.

Our 2 year old daughter will be 3 in a week, so we wanted to get her a bear. The employee we had helping us helped and wasn't rude, however she wasn't overly friendly like most build a bear places we've been to.

Sign said they opened at 10 am on Friday January 12th. Got there a little after 10 and no joy. Stalled around the mall for a while and they were still not opened by 10:40. Tried calling and nothing. Had to leave with a very sad child.

Went there to celebrate my daughter's 13th birthday, because you're never too old for build a bear. Since it was her birthday, we asked about the age and price on the bears and they said "pick any bear on the wall and pay however old you're turning".So, she picks it out, dresses it, along with my other daughter and a friend.I get up there to check out, and the girl tells me the total. I said, oh what about the birthday special. She said, oh that's only the birthday bear.So I questioned her but all she could say was they were wrong for telling us pick any bear on the wall.Sorry, but after buying 3 bears AND clothing, especially after you explaining the birthday price..... that was upsetting.

Went there today for my brothers birthday, to pick up a couple Pokémon. Their selection was amazing, and the associates were very helpful with any questions that we had. Jessica was the worker who helped us out today, and I don’t think I could’ve asked for anyone better. She helped us with finding the perfect sound for my brothers Batman, the perfect scent and hearts for the Glaceons, and not only helped us but gave us the full experience. We appreciate her so much for all the help and assistance and heart she put into serving us.

This build a bear has some of the friendliest Staff I have ever met. My toddler loves going in the store and picking out her new furry friend. The staff is always so nice and talks to her about want she wants to name it and she is able to press on the pedal for the stuffing. They let her have the option of letting her pick out a little heart and to hug the new friend to make sure it is huggable. I definitely recommend you try this build a bear shop for the first time and I think it is great for a kids of any age. It is also a very fun way to end up spending a family outing.

A group of us went to this build-a-bear for our friend's birthday and I wasn't sure what to expect as we were a bunch of college kids walking into a toy store. But any concerns I had vanished when the employee ( I did not catch her name) jumped into action after hearing there was a birthday. She grabbed a birthday sticker and was super helpful to our group, striking the balance between treating us as adults but understanding our desire for some childish fun. Some other families came and went as members of our group picked out their bears and explored the store, and I was amazed at how this employee treated each customer. All I can say is she is really good at what she does and I wish build-a-bear was the type of store I frequented so I could experience this level of customer service more often.

Took my god daughter (3) she was a little shy but overall a great experience. The whole thing is really cute , the steps to building a bear . Making wishes and the workers were very kind and fun. I think I had more fun then she did. Except to pay $$$ for it, but definitely would recommend. Looking forward to going back.

This was an awesome place! My wife and I took three of our kids in here in July 2019 to beat the heat and make my two youngest ones happy. I have been to a lot of these workshops, and every one of them have been very fun, but this one in particular was especially fun and entertaining because of the two employees that were there that evening. They were extremely fun with the kids and made my wife feel like a kid again when she made her first bear (Cinderella bear). If you have little ones the. They will definitely have fun in here!

3/14/22 My daughters grandmother came to town and Gigi wanted her to experience ‘Build A Bear’ for the first time. Let me tell you, this young lady at this location, was exceptional!! She is so patient and kind. Her personality was as if she was in a play and my daughter was a guest on stage. Please acknowledge this young lady for her dedication. She spread a lot of happiness to us, this day. ((p.s. I took a star, bc build a bear, is just expensive… I wish it wasn’t this way… however some things we did get on sale, but still came a high grand total $)) Anyhow, the staff as a whole was pleasant! We will be back! Thank you.

Im about to be 21 and my little kid self still gets bears. This place was amazing! I recently lost my dog of 11 1/2 years and i made this bear to honor her. The staff was so supportive of my life situation. 🙌🏻💫☘️😌

We went today for my daughter's birthday and the two ladies working were excellent and really made it special for her. They were so patient, helpful and kind with all four of my children. We live a couple hours away but will definitely be back next time we're in the area!

The staff at the store understand "experience" which is the main reason I return. My 9yo loves this store and I will happily pay to see him smile and feel so happy when he watches his fave you get stuffed, add a heart, pick out an outfit, or create the birth certificate. All of the staff are fun, and the most PATIENT people I have ever seen in retail. I could not so what they do. I get coupons in my email that allow me to save the 45 min drive, but I will continue to come here and bring my son as long as I can. Not for nothing; my 16yo joined in and got a Jedi bear it looked so fun!

Fun time with the young ones and the young at heart. Getting one of these bears is every person's dream. Spacious location with a nice selection of bears and characters to choose from. The process of choosing your bear and watching it being created is awesome. The staff was truly friendly and polite.
