They cared! That is most important to me. They fit our new, previously unvetted, rescue puppy in the day I called them. Our "regular" vet wouldn't see him for 2 wks. Needless to say, the other one will no longer be our "regular" vet.

Bayside takes THE BEST care of my animals. They always keep me straight on when our cats and dog are due for shots, etc. My husband and I love the veterinarian and the entire staff. I highly recommend using them as your local vet.

Expensive, the vet isn't friendly at all. They don't treat in a room, they treat in the lobby. If other veterinarians were accepting new patients, we'd leave in a heartbeat.

Very satisfied with my 3 dog's care. Began with Bayside in the past year. One dog was diagnosed with an ear problem which they said would potentially be a lifelong problem by their former vet. After effective ear packs he has not experienced further problems. Staff is efficient while kind and compassionate. They really stay on top of client needs. Very happy with their care for our pups during the pandemic. Feel they are using latest technology for best outcomes and would definitely reccomend them. Susan Bullock

This was an overall poor experience. I was quoted a price when I set up the spay appointment for my 14 month old Great Pyrenees. At that time, the information regarding her breed and age was conveyed. When I arrived, they decided there would be an up charge of $30 for a large dog. I work 2 hours away and left in time to pick her up by 5 but got caught in traffic. I was concerned about being 15 minutes late so I called the office to make them aware. "Per our Vet if you are beyond 15 minutes, there will be an up charge because she has to pay 2 of our salaries'." I arrived at 5:09 and was spared another charge.When I checked my bank balance, my card had been charged three times for the same amount. I spoke to the office and the initial response was, "oh, we were having trouble with our credit card machine and weren't sure it was going through". The duplicate transactions effectively drained my bank account and the response I got from Janet was "I will do my best but today's a bank holiday". The office closed at noon today and I have not heard another word and the money is still not back in my account.I am new to the area and rescue and foster but assuredly will not be using this vet again but will be making the drive to Richmond.

Had a wonderful experience for a tragic event when our dog got deathly ill and passed. Super nice and supportive in this time of personal tragedy and national quarantine they allowed us the last few precious moments with our beloved Audrey.

I brought two of my cats, both whom had been seen before at Bayside, for treatment. The female had been diagnosed as diabetic and they wanted to do a 12 hour sugar monitoring test and the male had several molars that needed to be pulled and his teeth cleaned. Well it wasn’t until they had sedated the female cat and given insulin to the male that they realized THEY MIXED THEM UP! One is male and one is female! They sedated a sick cat who had not had her insulin and gave insulin to a cat who was not diabetic and had to give him a shot of glucose to regulate his blood sugar. Luckily both made out ok but they could easily have killed both of them!

This is a great place to board your pet. The staff is great and is very good at ensuring the animals are comfortable. I highly recommend this to anyone in need of boarding.
