Stopped into 4 Paws on a Saturday while on my way to an antique store further down the block. It was very crowded and obviously is a popular place with lots of merchandise in a store that felt a little too small for all they have. I mainly go to thrift stores for house stuff, knic-knacs etc, and while they have a large selection and some nice items, I found it a bit pricey. The Last Supper statue, made in China, was $24.99. I didn't buy anything. It's a shame, but many thrift stores have become more expensive than actual antique stores. 2 antique malls I visited the same day had much more reasonable prices than this store, and in one I bought 5 items. The excuse for these places seems to be that they are using the proceeds for charity but I'll spend my money in antique stores instead. Even new discount chains are cheaper for home good items. Still this was a pleasant store worth browsing if you are in West Point.Update..............I went to this shop again on a Saturday and was less disappointed because they were having a 50% off sale on Christmas items, and it is well before Christmas, not after. Got 3 great Santas and another item for only $15. The women who work there are extremely nice. I originally gave this place 3 stars but upped it to 4 for having this great sale.

This is a small but interesting thrift shop that serves an animal rescue organization. The staff are friendly and the prices seem to be reasonable. This is definitely worth the visit!
