The Big Store. Lots of seasonal stock was gone since they were clearing out post-Christmas when I went (between Christmas and New Year's). The line at the self checkout was down the aisle, long and disorganized. Some stores have an associate at the self check out area to help move people through efficiently, I did not see that at this location.The grocery area was appealing-a great big welcoming area with a lot of fresh fruits and produce, and the deli and bakery. I wish there were more prepared "grab and go" foods there, but there definitely were a lot of good-looking grocery items available.

I love the fresh produce always. Cleanliness, shelves are always stocked. Not people stocking shelves in the way. Like at the other neighborhood one. Fast self checkout. Friendly workers. I have support dog she is allowed. I bring a clean cover to put her on because I need elec. Chair.

The store is kept up nicely considering you have customers that don't put the product they are not getting back to the right place . Some staff are willing to be helpful. They need to work on recognition. Like when a customer is coming to you for help don't walk the other way , customer's are the reason you have a job

For the most part, this Wal-Mart location is pretty neat and organized. Staff was friendly and helpful. I like to get the big bubble wrap there, as I found their price is the lowest.Christmas lights sold out quickly though.

It's clean & stocked well. If they don't have an item in stock Customer Service 8 times out of 10 will look to see if other local stores have it.Like alot of stores these days, most of the check out lanes here are Self Check Out which is fine if you have a few things but not with a cart full of groceries - especially produce. Also 1 small error & everything stops & you have to wait till someone comes over to help you. They should have more then 2 people during busy hours working on check out.

This is true for just about any walmart lol. The workers or associates (I worked at store 1344 staunton va and the waynesboro va super center) they never talk to you. A couple of older workers will talk to you. It's the younger people that basically ignore you. And that's just rude. When I worked, I always tried to be polite and helpful. I've seen workers put down freight and purposely walk away just to avoid talking to customers. If I was the ceo and saw cases of this happening, I'd be embarrassed of this company honestly. My review would be 5 stars if this was fixed. It's not just at one store either. Any of the ones I've been to in virginia have been this way.

Better off starving. Food is always close to expiring ... you have to cook it the same day you buy it and as for fruit...don't even bother. I purchased organic Bananas on Sat...the next day they were turning yellow and I hadn't even eaten one yet. It should be illegal for Walmart to sell food .. especially since they don't hire workers who check the stock and it's shelf life.

I order groceries for pick up today. It’s nice when you work all day to get off and have your groceries ready so you can make dinner for your family. When I got home and unloaded my groceries, I pulled out the oranges and they had mold all over them. So I was a little frustrated, then as I pulled out more items the frustration continued to build…. The bacon was bad and had expired, my bananas was busted open, and my tomato smelled putrid with a literal thumb print through the skin of it. I get things happen but this right here is unacceptable. It’s not even like the molded oranges wasnt noticeable… you can clearly see they were rotten… smh. So the whole point of doing a groceries pick up so I can run home and make dinner was pointless. I had to run the expired , rotten food back to Walmart and go pick out some edible items. I will say customer service was super nice and expressed their concern about the issue after seeing the items. Here’s what was given to me….

I wish i could give Uncle Lou’s chittlins a zero star rating! Aunt Bessie’s are the best - HANDS DOWN!First of all, you can’t find the company anywhere online to review them (big red flag). I have been searching for chittlins for the past couple of years (due to COVID actually).I was in Kroger this past weekend and saw Uncle Lou’s chittlins at $27+ for five pounds. The package says they have been “double washed” and “handpicked!” That’s crazy! I cleaned my five pounds and ended up with 1.5 pounds! There is no way I would have cooked them without cleaning. See the pics! You cannot simply rinse these and cook them!So, it sounds to me that they know people are looking for them and they are making a huge profit on something that farmers typically throw away!!DO NOT KID YOURSELF! You must clean these before cooking! No matter how you feel abou chittlins, this is absurd!The small dish is the end product! Let me know if you would like to know how to properly clean!!The second picture is all of the stuff I pulled off and had to tie away. The last pic is after I spent two hours cleaning them! 😡🤨

Walmart changed how u self check out which I was a fan of go get what u need and get out in and out which fixed the issue of not having enuff Cashiers to check you out so you had to wait in line for ever which I never understood why they had 20 registers but only 3 was open maybe 4 at one time for u to check out now they got it where ur herded up likr cattle amd being directed who goes where like a flag man directing traffic for vdot doin road work ... The store are useless anymore better to order online then goin and shopping at the store

I had such a weird feeling shopping at Walmart today. Learning that they had $155 BILLION in profit last year made me want to vote no with my wallet. A worker (Jessica) was just standing in front of a cooler. When I pushed my cart towards her, she actually rolled her eyes and made a disgusting face, as if I had no right to get in her way. I skipped buying what I was going to in that cooler and considered telling someone about that but it occurred to me, noone would care. Ended up leaving and headed to Food Lion where they do care.

This Walmart is completely garbage the employees park in the customer parking lot even parking in places close to the doors, the pharmacy is the worst I've ever seen, the employees are always on the phone and they never want to help any customer,they barely have anything on the shelves, I've tried reporting this Walmart to the store manager, District manager and even they don't seem to care, for the very few good Walmart employees I'm so sorry that you got to work here

It’s 2024 and Walmart still doesn’t have Apple Pay. I was trying to get a prescription with my Dads Health Savings CC but he’s back in my home state so I don’t physically have the card. I need this medication for a serious condition. I tried to have them transfer my prescription to Target which does have Apple Pay but they said that will take to long and they don’t have the time. Disappointing and Sad.

We seldom have a good experience at Walmart, but yesterday we were at the meat section searching for one item. It was not in the location that stated online so a young man named Jacob went to the back and brought out exactly what we needed! We heard him offer multiple times to other people around him to assist them!! That may be the first time we have ever seen anyone at Walmart ask customers if they needed assistance!!! Thank you Jacob for restoring customer service!!

The Waynesboro VA Walmart is a much nicer store than other local Walmart stores. The staff is just all around nicer than the Charlottesville VA location. It takes me about the same length of time to drive to Walmart. I just prefer driving to Waynesboro because the staff is friendly. Same products in each location. I just prefer shopping where the staff is of a better caliber.

I entered my local Waynesboro Walmart today in hopes of picking up a few items. I went to sporting goods were I waited around for over 20 minutes for someone to help me, no one ever came. A couple employees who were just aimlessly walking around said they would go get someone for me, no one ever came. I tried to call customer service from within the store several different times, no one answered. I then went to to the front of the store to customer service where I find 2 employees just standing around doing nothing. All I wanted was to pick up a few items that were locked away by Walmart. Terrible service is an understatment.... I will not be returning and will take my families business elsewhere.

Online I ordered a cake from the bakery. I believe it was called a "Flutter Cake" since it had butterflies around it. It was lovely, and the recipient was thrilled! The cake looked exactly as it did online. Best part...it was delicious! I ordered white cake with strawberry filling and whipped icing. The cake was moist and the icing was light.

I do not like this store! Most of the cashiers are rude (mostly the young ones) and don’t care how they bag your groceries. One young girl dropped my tomatoes in the bag instead of putting them in the bag. I decide to go thru the self check out because I Do Not work for Walmart! Also this Walmart is always out of things you need. Why can’t you build a Walmart her like the super Walmart in Augusta? That’sa long drive off I need something and can’t get it from waynesboro Walmart.🤷🏼‍♀️

I confess I'm not really a Walmart kinda guy.I prefer to seek the little out-of-the-way spot.This morning headed up Afton Mt on 250 (thankfully we didn't choose I64) we had a flat.Try replacing tires on Sunday morning in Waynesboro... but Walmart was on spot!The place was definitely understaffed - who isn't these days - but they were diligent, nonplussed and worked us in.It didn't take long to have us safely back on the road.Gotta give credit where credit is due!

Clean, organized and helpful employees. I don't know what management is doing here that is different but they seem to be doing things right. They seem to have solved most if not all of their supply chain issues. Still great environment.
