We had a delivery set up and unfortunately my husband was called to work completely last minute. The Waynesboro team went out of the way to help us find a new day for our delivery, explained the entire process, and did not act like we were putting them out in any way! I really appreciated their willingness to do what they could to help us out! #customerforlife

Huge and seemingly endless products. No worries about ample parking or loading purchases into the vehicle. We've been there multiple times, and they always appear to be fully staffed. However, getting assistance is not always easy, but when you do, they are friendly and knowledgeable.

I like the depot since it's not as busy as L across the way. Plus since there is another option down the road it's great to comparison ship if you're looking at appliances and stuff.

DO NOT PAY FOR INSTALLATION. DO NOT BUY FROM HOME DEPOT.I paid for installation of a brand new dryer in my new house. The guys who did it, didn’t install the power cord correctly so the wire for the heating element was sparking and burned both the wire inside the dryer and the wire inside the power cord. Home Depot has been giving me the run around for weeks now and I still don’t have a working dryer (almost a month later).I’ve spoken to everyone I could possibly get on the phone (even leadership on the “resolution” team) and have basically been told by everyone, “sorry it almost burned your house down, but you have to wait for claims to contact you and they may or may not repair or approve a new dryer.”NEVER. EVER. AGAIN.Zero customer retention or even a single effort made to speed up this process for me. I have a family. Not only could someone have been injured or killed, but I’m having to take my laundry elsewhere when I just paid for a brand new dryer 3 months ago.

Went in yesterday stood around customer service desk to ask about where safes were my wife as a woman that was walking back and forth behind service desk where the safes were and was ignored and o was in line waiting to ask and lady checked another gentleman out was done then they started a conversation about I 29 and I was was ignored so I finally spoke out loud asked if someone could tell me where safe was so I was discussed with customer service that day.

Tool rental is pretty average , paid for tool insurance on the machine and the cable was damaged a bit , they then charged me $75 to dispose the cable then I walked in they were getting it fixed , they said they will need to charge

Went to grab some pvc. I had a gentlemen cut it so it would fit in my car (no cost for cutting it I two.) The staff is always super helpful (just wish there was more of them.) store floors were clean and aisles were neat. Did self checkout. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

Usually a great experience when picking up home improvement or gardening resources. However, on July 29th, I attempted to purchase Fresh Oak at the 1.60 price photographed price at the store. It's 3.19 online. I saw the in stock sticker, looked for a sample, and took a picture since I couldn't find a sample. My wife saw the flooring from my phone and loved it. We loaded up our kiddos and headed to Home Depot with my mother in law.Once at the store, we were disappointed. Although the sticker says, "in stock," it wasn't. The store had zero in the system. Further, I showed the store associate the display as pictured. It didn't matter what I saw advertised. The store associate said it was clearance based on the yellow sticker, and he said once they're out, they're out. This was repeated by Customer Service. Here's ther kicker. While standing in front of the display, the associate even said we should remove the stickers. He started to remove the "in stock" stickers but then left it.Here's the follow up response:I ... just wanted to apologize for the experience in the store. Unfortunately store prices and online prices can vary since homedepot.com is a separate entity from the store. Once an item is getting discontinued from a store due to being a low performer, a product change, or just being discontinued all together we do clearance the product to sell through the remaining inventory. As far as the display that is up that shows "in stock", that is up due to the store "stocking" that item and it not being a special order product. Our Merchandise Execution Team will be the ones who redo the displays and replace that clearance display with whatever the new item will be. Until they change the display, we generally keep the pricing and all the stickers on those displays. I do see your point of view and I do apologize again for the inconvenience. If there is anything I can do for you feel free to give me a call or you can always send an email. I want to thank you for coming into The Home Depot and allowing us to earn your business.

Home Depot is often where we go if Lowes doesn't have what we need. The location is not as convenient as Lowes, but the service and product availability is excellent. We've made several major purchases here such as a replacement water heater. Employee knowledge and service is much appreciated. They offer military service discount.

Staff is so hit or miss. Couldn't flag down 4 people that just walked by me and then one littery glared at me for like 5 minutes because I reached over a gate when he was operating a man lift on the other side of the isle. It's crazy how childish they are here sometimes. Prices on many items are better than lowes. Lowes usually does slightly better on lumber prices, but the quality seems to be much better at Home Depot. Appliance prices and appliance department staff are much better at the Home Depot cabinets are better at lowes.

BEWARE!!! Ordered new gas stove and PAID for haul away & installation. The 2 guys who delivered the new stove said if we paid them cash $400 under the table they would remove/hook up new stove and they saw the astonished look on our faces and said oh wait, we will do it for $200 cash and don't tell anyone to which my husband told them to take new stove and leave our house!We had already PAID for installation & haul away and these guys were trying to shake us down for cash!We contacted Home Depot to report this incident, well we have been back and forth talking with everyone to resolve this issue and they finally decided to arrange delivery again and all of a sudden the new stove that we BOUGHT had been DAMAGED!!!Well, we sure wonder how that happened?! Very interesting to say the least.Here we are almost a month later...crickets, still no response.Home Depot still has OUR bought and paid for new stove!! I would have never believed this would happen from Home Depot and this issue has yet to be resolved!BAD BUSINESS!!Shame on Home Depot!

Waited 20 minutes for an assistant to show up... She finally showed up smacking her teeth (food) and saying 'Sorry I was on lunch break'... She knew I was waiting because another employee had informed her about me. She didn't even have the decency to call another to assist me and just had me wait.

It’s very warm in there, seriously it’s uncomfortably warm and makes me just want to get out of there.There was a wonderful lady at the front, Valarie, she help us check out. Very helpful, pleasant and polite. The self check out was not taking our gift card and the credit card machine was acting up. But she helped.Other employees were very helpful always offering assistance if they see you.For fun sometimes we walk past unsuspecting employees several times from different directions just to see if they would offer help, guess what, they do.Just regulate the temp better please.

I have been extremely frustrated by the flooring ordering process at this store. The flooring order had been messed up and attempted correction so many times that we had to go into the store to resolve it. Then today, when the installers arrived and unpacked everything, we found another issue, which is that the quarter round is incorrect and doesn't match the rest of the house as we had requested during the estimate and order process. I called the Main Home Depot line, was put on hold for 35 minutes while she was speaking to the Waynesboro location flooring specialist and then got disconnected from that hold - just started ringing and ringing and ringing - I still stayed on the call with it ringing like that for an additional 15 minutes. I then hung up and called back... After an additional 15 minutes hold, the new lady who answered said she couldn't help and I would have to call the Waynesboro location directly. Tried that... Again explained the issue to the person who answered... Was put on hold again for a few minutes and then transferred without them making me aware that I was going to be transferred again and had to explain the issue again. Now I'm awaiting a return call, meanwhile the installers are nearly done and zero resolution on this matter. I'm not going to have the install quarter round that matches nowhere else in the house!

Only self,checkouts available. Store not busy. Gentleman helping customers with self,checkout was very nice and helpful. Had to order part for stove but all my other items were in stock. The 2 salesman I dealt with very nice and helpful.

I had some pretty cumbersome issues with the online Home Depot customer service folks so I ended up getting in touch with the folks at the closest store to me, which is the Waynesboro location. I spoke to Sophia, who I believe was some level of management at this location, and she was THE MOST HELPFUL person I've spoken to at Home Depot in the many years that I've been purchasing there. She was patient, thoughtful, informative and kind. She solved my issue with a refund/credit on my appliance return/exchange with the highest level of ease on my end. I cannot be more grateful to her for saving me the grief of needing to call into the 1800 number again. Sophia deserves some major recognition for her dedication and attentiveness to customers. A++++ job to Sophia. Thank you again, you're the best, Sophia!!

Worthless cashierWent to this store to purchase a few yard/garden supplies. Store employee on the floor was very helpful, sorry I can’t remember your name, you were tall, you had a beard and wore glasses and were very patient with us.However our cashier, KYLE, was really not interested in anything but talking to his fellow cashiers. We were by the self checkout but went to a cashier register. KYLE walked very slowly to the register. Asked me three times if I was using my Home Depot account I said yes three times. Not sure what difference it made as to what I was using to pay for it.Rang up the items the small items in my basket but didn’t bag them up. I asked him if he could bag them up and he said yes YOU can. The bags were on the opposite side of the basket from where I was standing. Thought he was the cashier, not me. My bad.

Can I give them a zero? Ordered trex decking material and had it delivered. First, a week after we ordered it we wondered why it had not come in. Turns out, they had forgotten to order it. It finally came in and was delivered within 3 days. Great. The guy brings it up our driveway and tries to shift the load and drops it. He immediately says he damaged it. We call Home Depot. They told us to bring the pieces back (but they were special ordered, 20 ft long, and if we could have picked it up ourselves and driven 60 miles home, we would of!). Then they say if we want to keep the crushed boards, they will give us a 10% discount. If not, we have to bring them in and they will order new ones and we have to pay for delivery again. WHAT A RACKET!!!! NEVER BUY FROM HERE!!! Don't know if other home depots are different. Since the damage was documented with pictures by the driver, they should have ordered replacements immediately, delivered it, and picked up the damaged pieces then. That's good customer service. They don't have it.

I called the store, the phone rang for 4 1/2 minutes. Somebody finally answered and asked me to hold, then hung up on me. I spent $130,000 at Home Depot last year. Seems like i need to take my business elsewhere

Never order anything from this Home Depot. In fact I will never order from Home Depot again.I ordered a dishwasher and paid for installation of the new one as well as a haul away of the old one.When they first delivered it, they claimed they were only there to deliver and wouldn’t install it. We called the store and they said there had been some sort of mix up and scheduled someone to come out and install it and haul the old one away. When the men got here, they claimed they couldn’t haul the old one away because it had water at the bottom, I told them I would fix that… and while I was cleaning the water out, they got in their truck and just left. No word to me. Just left. I have never been so treated. I am absolutely furious. Nice to know how Home Depot treats their nurses! Absolutely inexcusable. Don’t buy from them. I never will again. Worst experience I have ever had buying an appliance. Lowes will have my business from now on.

Used to be decent employees anymore it's a bunch of lazy employees hardly any offer to help stand around talking watching you do everything not even offering to lend a hand standing there trying to check out at the self checkout hands full girl sitting down telling me what buttons to push instead of getting up and trying to help
