They have done store updates and resets over the past years making this place better and up to date without losing any hardware store feel and helpfulness. This has become my hardware go to. I would also recommend the online order ease of use. If you are in a rush and cannot shop at the store. They will have your order up front waiting. Orders are ready faster than the expected time in my cases. You receive an email and it's effortless. That being said. I prefer to browse to get what I need and possibly some things I don't but online is a good tool for a time strapped world. I will be back.

Great store. Had a bit of everything. Prices are about the same as Walmart. Nice, clean store. Very knowledgeable staff. Staff was also friendly and helpful. I would definitely shop there again.

Great place to pick up your Blue Seal chicken feed. Limited selection of other chicken treats and accessories, but you will find feeders and waterers, treats and some first aid supplies. Nice clean store, the aisles are well marked. Also gardening and hardware supplies.

My wife and I visited the store in waynesboro va today. Looking for a leaf blower. We were greeted by Debbie Lowe. She was very knowledgeable about the stihl products. Knowledgeable and very helpful employees work at this location. Most clearly have a great deal of personal experience and wisdom so you don't have to worry about them steering you wrong. They have a very diverse inventory for a store this size and can order a lot more in if you need to. By far one the best neighborhood hardware stores around.

So I was trying to look for a certain type of seed yesterday 5/19. I wasnt able to locate it so I went to the register and asked the lady if she could look up inventory. Rudely she asked what I was looking for and when I told her she again rudely stated that if it's not there we don't have it. Didn't even bother to look it up or offer someone to help me. My boyfriend loves this store but I on the other hand will never step foot in it again. I have done customer service for over 25 years and this lady doesn't deserve to work with the public. If I can change my boyfriends mind to shop elsewhere I most certainly will.

Once again, Rockingham Cooperative had what I needed for a comparable price and I like the idea of supporting a local store instead of shopping at a "Big Box Store" across town who act like they don't appreciate the business. Very helpful employees here who aren't afraid to take a second to assist.

I went and got a key made and was so excited about the new key I left my old ones behind. The gentleman helping me made sure the keys got turned into the front register, and when I called they knew exactly what I was talking about.

I bought a Stihl chainsaw from here. Customer service was great. The staff was very helpful, everywhere I went someone was there to give a answer to my questions. I was pretty convinced I wanted a 261 without the M-tronic but after taking to the Stihl staff and doing more research, I'm happy with what I got. The staff is very informative.

Great folks here. They have things you can't get anywhere else. Clean...biggie for me.I like their poison oak soap. I use tons of it...sensitive skin.I got door locks can't find anywhere else. Have screws and bolts also...drain acid. (If you have good sense in using it.)Bird food....seeds to plant.I use a safety door latch that has a key. Handy gadget. No where else ever heard of them.Canning gaskets...etc. Ball book..food preserving. Love those cattle water tubs..Greatoutdoor kid or people jaquisie .

Only problem I have is no public restroom. If you want people to shop smaller local instead of big box, open your restrooms. I had to leave my items and go across the street to use the restroom at the "big box" store and come back. If my purchase wasn't special order I would not have purchased it. I don't shop where there is not a public restroom..after all I am spending my $$ there. Sorry guys back to the big box store across town I will shop. This is the Waynesboro VA store not Waynesboro TN..

It's obvious that they hire elderly white people exclusively. Because you expect an older white man to know what he's talking about when looking for a specific size nut or bolt. Not true after an annoying worker kept insisting to help me I left with 3 different nuts and none fit. Came back the next day and found it on my own in 2 minutes. They should hire knowledgeable people.

Had a much better time here than at Home Depot. This paint lady was amazing and completely acceptable at my inneptness in home remodelling. She wished me good luck and told me she would be there if I needed anymore help.

This is the place to buy any Stihl tool. The salespeople are knowledgeable, friendly and professional. They won’t upsell you, and will take the time to explain why some models are better than others. See Debbie if you want expert info about a new chainsaw!

On April 17, 2020 I ventured in just before lunch and I was greeted by "the bouncer" or what should have been a pleasant employee who not only still has his/her job but able to purvey a welcoming smile to the SHOPPERS COMING INTO AN OPEN RETAIL STORE. But it quickly went south as she.... before welcoming me... barked out can I help you?I wanted to look for face masks or bandanas. She quickly said they had none to offer me and I said I would like to look around! And then... with a brief pause was told "I needed to be assisted through the store"Basically she was saying she'd retrieve what it was I wanted for me which would have been great except... I really didn't know what kind of alternative they might have!So... before I lost my control I proceeded to exit thru the out door and was offered to walk past others coming in. I told her I could find my own way out..Never have I been treated like I was not wanted

This is the best hardware store I have been to in my life! It's beautiful, well-stocked, the service is perfect, and it's really an awesome place to shop. They had exactly what I needed (and then some!!) and they were able to tell me exactly where it was. The shop is very clean and well-organized. I will invent an excuse to go there at the drop of a hat.

Debbie and Jacob you both helped me make an informed choice on not only what chemical to use to eradicate poison ivy, but a very reasonable application process I cannot wait to try. Google cannot compare to talking with helpful, kind, folks with experience. Sidney, you took the time to explain your rewards program and taught me about propane exchange. First, let me address Mr. Zane Thomas's review. Yes, I went in the store during the pandemic and yes, it was heavy handed. So I totally understand your reaction. I was left somewhat confused when I walked in and almost walked out myself. Anyway, moving on... have purchased many items at this store. These folks are always (with the exception above) helpful and there are plenty of associates in the store to assist. My best experience was about a month ago. I went in to purchase a new STIHL trimmer. There is a lady there, do not remember her name, but she is well versed in STIHL products. I got what I needed, they would not let me leave until the trimmer started and guess what? It would not start. They did a quick diagnostic, fixed the issue and off I went. Been working like a STIHL ever since. I feel confident that this store is my "go to" for my hardware needs. I highly recommend this location.
