I cannot express how much I enjoyed my stay here. From the front desk check-in, to the cleanliness and preparations of the rooms, design and space of the rooms, and the size of indoor pool, I highly suggest you book here.The two gentlemen at the front desk were kind, professional, and gave good directions. The pool was very large and well maintained. The hot tub was clean and felt great. The rooms were so large! Full sized refrigerator and built in full sized microwave. The sofas were large so you could spread out and watch a good movie. The beds linens/textile were so soft and good thread count. The beds were so soft and I got a great night sleep. I liked that the TV was set on a swivel table for both bedroom and sofa areas.Please, book here and enjoy!

Wow. I'm not even sure that wow describes this hotel.The rooms are great! The staff and parking are great! It's all great!We travel often, at least once a month, usually involving several hotel stays and sometimes Airbnb or VRBO. I do forget to review every place that we stay. But the horrible or amazing places always ensure that I write a review.This place is exceptional.We have not had this type of amazing front desk service in a long time!Victoria is absolutely amazing!! The genuine hospitality that she alone provides is extraordinary. Add in the well kept and clean rooms, 24 hour gym, indoor pool and hot tub that is accessible until MIDNIGHT and it completes an exceptional stay!Thank you, Victoria, for making our stay one of the best ones that we have had in a while.This hotel is 15 years old and still keeps all of their lights so bright. We've found that, usually, as they get older, they dim the lights! It's definitely to hide things.Rooms: The rooms are great. The kitchen is great. Everything is just fantastic!Food & drinks: Everything is fantastic and they have a great variety!

Our antique collectors club hosted a convention at the Residence Inn Waynesboro back in October. We had 22 people from all across the US come to Virginia. Everyone was so impressed with the hotel and the area. I can't say enough good things about this place and our stay! The rooms were wonderful, breakfast was nice, and the meeting room met our needs. Even better, the staff went above and beyond helping up with anything we needed - from handing out welcome baskets, storing food in the refrig, helping us book tickets to local sites, etc. They were so accommodating. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable.

Rooms are great. Staff is unconcerned about pretty much anything. Pools closed. I ask why? The girl at the desk had no idea. The venue across the street has live music on the weekends until 11 even though the local ordinance says it has to be quiet at 10. After a long day driving the last thing someone needs is music so loud it’s shaking the windows. Call the desk to complain. Nothing. I stay at Marriott religiously and this is the worst I’ve experienced.

One of the best stays yet in this brands properties. Staff was great, including Manager Jean M., Dana, and Danielle. They all worked hard to make my 2 night stay comfortable and quiet. Facility was fine and the breakfast and breakfast staff was super friendly. I have missed the Southern Hospitality but have found it is alive and well at this location. Thanks Y 'all, TH.Rooms: Quality rooms. One bedroom suite was great.Walkability: Easy walk to tens of food n bev choices.Food & drinks: The breakfast was well above average and staff serving it was too.

Not the best hotel for double any other. Not worth it. Slow check in and the first room was not ready for us and wet and chemical smell with dehumidifier fans on the ground. To get 2nd room took also a long time we had to come back die to the time length. 2nd room smelled like burring rubber. Breakfast usually includes fresh fruit. Not here continental breakfast no bacon. Not what you expect from Marriott. Over priced and run down.

This hotel was great! We booked last minute when our other accommodation fell thru. The rooms are so spacious and have a full kitchen area, a living room, and a separate sleeping area and bathroom. There was a basketball court, pool and nice outdoor seating area with fire pits. I highly recommend if in the area.

None of the rooms' bathrooms have fans, so be prepared to smell mildew everywhere. I shudder to think what's behind the wallpaper in the bathroom. Also, the office chair had questionable stains on it. The only good thing about this is the location. There are dozens of food options in the area. This is not the worst stay, but it was not a good stay.

This Marriott is Awesome!! The location is great and convenient. The staff is more than accommodating. The rooms are clean and comfortable. (Stayed for extended period and ended up staying in a few different rooms) Breakfast was actually a little more plentiful than all of the other marriotts so far, more options, hot, a least a few different items every day. Complimentary cookies in afternoon.. I honestly can't complain about this place at all and we've stayed at probably 20 different marriotts this year alone in Va and WV.Rooms: Spacious, clean, well kept, up to date, studios are well stocked and accommodating..Nearby activities: There are about 10 stores literally in walking distance from hotel. Your convenient to both JMU and UVa sports. Comvient shopping centers within 15 mins, topsSafety: Key entry required after certain hour.Walkability: There are about 10 stores literally in walking distance from hotel.

My parents and I spent one night here in June of 2020, and while things were limited because of that, I really do appreciate the hotel for trying, and they certainly tried very well!There was no continental breakfast, but we were given a little doggy bag filled with enough breakfast items to make up for it!The gym and pool were closed though. We very much enjoyed the room, as it was very spacious with two separate bedrooms, and a large living room.

We stay at a lot of Residence inns and some of them have gone downhill. But this location is in great shape. Other than a few items of trash that fell behind a nightstand, the room was great. Comfortable bed, quiet room even though the hotel was pretty full. Breakfast was better than most Residence inns and there was a lot of variety. Gym was clean and the indoor pool was clean and inviting. Definitely recommend.

We stayed there on July 29. We were given keys to our room at 1:00pm, but they had not finished cleaning our room. We came back at 530pm to what appeared to be a semi cleaned room. Sat down on the couch and the maid walked in on us without knocking, apparently unaware that someone was in the room. We asked to be moved to another room that was ready. Moved to room 301 where we discover no toilet paper, used washcloths in the shower, used whitestrips in the bathroom drawer and trash behind both night tables. I understand being short staffed but do not give out keys to rooms that aren't clean. Its disgusting. I have stayed at Marriott hotels my whole life and will be switching chains due to my latest experiences. Management at this specific hotel did not seem concerned.

I really enjoyed this hotel. Staff is friendly. They have apps you can sign in on the TV. Everything was clean. The pool goes up to 5 feet but it's really nice. You still will have fun. They have a fire pit as well. They have grab and go breakfast. I had a nice experience there. I would definitely stay there again.

All staff was super friendly from check-in to checkout. We had a 2bedroom suite. It was nice size and very clean. The little market at the entrance is nice for some drinks and snacks. Restaurants all around even in walking distance to outback. The only negative I can come up with is that we could hear walking and jumping from the room upstairs pretty clearly. Also, we ordered food and ate in our rooms but we only had 1 steak knife which kinda was weird. Overall, great hotel!

We reserved a block of rooms for our wedding. It took weeks of me calling to get this set up, and I had to send the contract back several times because the dates were wrong, and names were wrong. Most of our guests ended up not booking through the room block because it was cheaper to use AAA or Expedia. When our guests arrived some rooms had 2 towels in it, and no items for the kitchen. Soap was missing from several rooms and a few of them were dirty as well. When one group of our guests were issued keys they found the room already occupied and were told that there were no rooms like the one they had booked left. One of our guests was told they didn’t have her reservation even as she showed them her confirmation number. We left two stars as the desk staff was friendly while handling the issues of our guests, but the person we booked the block of rooms with was not personable and acted as if we were a burden.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Spacious and clean suite room with kitchen and even a fireplace. Pool is open from 6 to midnight with a whirlpool. We got to spend our early morning in the warm water after a great breakfast buffet. All the staff were super friendly. Although the nearby blue ridge pkwy is closed due to the weather and we did not get a chance to see the mountains, I would like to return and spend some other time here in the spring.

Not the absolutely best Residence Inn I've stayed at, but good.Pros:The suites are spacious and equipped with attractive modern furniture, comfy beds and a full kitchen.There's a nice sitting area outdoors with a gas fire pit.I appreciate that the indoor pool was open when so many hotels have closed theirs. You have to sign up for pool time which I didn't really like but whatever.Cons:I was a little confused looking for dishes and found them all in the dishwasher - didn't like that.One major failure - the conversion from the typical excellent RI menu offerings to grab n go breakfasts of a quality more on parole with a Super 8 Motel (egg muffins, tiny cereal and juice boxes, hard boiled eggs). The night staff was friendlier than the day staff.I would probably go for Comfort Suites next time I'm in town. For the extra $75 I paid for the Residence Inn, I didn't get that much additional value. I would rather have saved that money for breakfast and snacks to go.

If you're in Waynesboro - there's no better place to stay. Sure there's not a lot of reasons I go to Waynesboro, except for work occasionally. But the location here is good, the amenities are decent and the rooms are good sized and well appointed. Plus, they deliver on the little things such as foam pillows on my Marriott preference sheet. They make a stay special.

Great hotel! From the breakfast every morning to the social events in the evening everything about this hotel screams customer service. Rooms are always spotless and the housekeeping staff always seems to go the extra mile without you even having to ask. Front desk staff and managers are personable, friendly and always willing to help in any way. The beds are comfortable and extra pillows are always available. Highly recommend this property!
