I called in to place an order for 8 pieces of fried chicken that they had on special. I ordered ahead to pick up that afternoon. The order was ready, hot and fresh. The telling point, my grandsons love good fried chicken. They loved this one. This is the second time I did this and each time they did a great job.

This place has what you want. You can be vegan or love the olive bar. Produce and good cheese. However, if you want beef pork or seafood. See them. The only place that can beat them is a butcher shop.The butcher can't provide Irish unsalted butter for example. Do not forget the good beer and decent wine selection. Enjoy.

Store was neat and clean. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I love their bakery section. The Portuguese rolls and fruit tarts are the best. Also order birthday cakes here. They also have firewood in the front outside.

I think this store is overpriced. I've been here a few times looking for things and find that I can get same products for cheaper price at other companies. This particular store is always clean and clear of grocery carts in the parking lot but right now the prices dictate where I shop.

I always buy my groceries at Martins. When you walk in you are first aware of the tremendous variety of products and of course the produce is always fresh as are everything out of the bakery and from the butcher. But the ultimate reason I go in is because of the service. More specifically I would like to commend Chris Stocker and Cassi Furr, two of the exceptional people who work up front. As a senior citizen of 76 who rides around in one of your wonderful electric carts, they already know the items which I almost always buy, and lead me straight to the correct isle to get, for instance, Ensure, which I always buy by the case and they lift it from the lowest shelf and put it in my cart because I can't bend over, and then always offer to go out to my car with me to shift it into the car which is, again, something I have trouble doing. I had a small payment issue at the fuel station where I wasn't correctly refunded after a prepayment. Teresa in customer service was polite and helpful and referred me to the assistant manager, Hasona. Hasona took the time to listen to my issue and she helped resolve the issue in a timely fashion. This is a great example of the commitment to customer service that Martin's is known for. Thank you Teresa and Hasona for treating me with kindness and respect, and helping resolve the problem.

I love this store! Everything I have seen is so clean and fresh, every time I visit. They are friendly, helpful and always seem to be happy to work there, a direct reflection of great management.Now, let me tell you about the Carrot Cake… OMG!!! I’ve eaten a LOT of desserts in my time but THIS ONE TAKES THE CAKE! See what I did there? Takes the cake? Ok, sorry, moving on… if you like cream cheese and if you like carrot cake, you’ve GOT to try this one. It is so dadburned good. It’s a wee bit too sweet but still delicious. It’s $15.99 and worth every penny.You owe it to yourself to go by and visit this store. You won’t be sorry. And don’t forget to drop by the deli and see for yourself what it is I’m talking about!!

Shopped at the Waynesboro Martin’s earlier today. Got home and realized the Boars Head hummus I purchased had an expiration date of June 6, 2023 and the seal was crusted over. (Yes, I should have checked the expiration date…). I went back to the store and spoke with the assistant manager (Hansona Bratcher) who told me “it is Boars Head’s responsibility to remove outdated items from the shelf.” This was very interesting because she immediately went to the items and removed the outdated product; some that were molded! We have limited grocery options in Waynesboro, but it looks like I will have to go to Food Lion or Charlottesville. Take some responsibility! I would have understood more if she had simply said, “I’m sorry, we missed that. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.”

The pickup service is great! They go over everything that was substituted and if something is out of stock, they always try to find a way to accommodate. They are also super quick bringing our orders out and are almost always really nice!

I restocked the department today and I must say, Martin's carries the best, most fresh produce of any grocery store around. With Food Lion being a sub grocery store of Martin's, well, all I know is I'm glad I've been buying my fresh produce here at Martins Grocery!! Great taste, good skins, crunchy and delicious!! Glad I'm working here now!!!Everything is great!! Well stocked and clean!!

In the last 2x I have been to the Waynesboro Martin's the same cashier was scarcastic and rude. I will be limiting my Martin's visits to Staunton as there not only were the cashiers cheerful and helpful, but the customer service staff went above and beyond!

Free WiFi and Android Pay accepted. Super friendly staff and very clean store. Now they have charging stations for cars and a robot cleaning the aisles too. This place rocks with technology!

Too expensive on produce and meats, for instance 5 ears of corn for 5 bucks. I can get 3 to 4 ears of corn for a buck and taste exactly the same. The good thing about martins is the got a huge variety of health food products. Also very expensive, I've been to other health stores at lower prices. So if you have the money and think your getting better products for the price then by all means go shop there, as for me it will be a emergency store for me.

They have the shelf checkout device they want everyone to use. But when you use it and get to the self checkout lane the attendant has to audit you and almost checks your whole order? Listen, if you want me to do it all myself, your going to have to trust me. Quit wasting my time rechecking my order. Total B.S. we're never using the wand again. They can stick it where the sun doesn't shine!!!

Very well stocked, friendly staff, good prices & quality. Coming from PA, it was nice to pay for my beer the same place as my grocery items. I asked the cashier if there was a limit on alcohol purchased & she had no idea what I was talking about. Great store, highly recommend. Oh yeah, I saved .50 a gallon on gas using my points.

I love Martin's. This store in Waynesboro is clean, well laid out, has wide shopping isles and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Oh, and I would also add, many, many items are priced better than Kroger while maintaining a 'higher class' shopping experience. ✔️

Martin's is a pretty nice supermarket. It's clean, and the staff are helpful. The fruit and vegetables are better than average. One thing I especially like is that they have the hand checkout devices. You get one as you go in the store, scan your items as you put them in your cart, load your bags as you go. When you're all done all you do is pay.

I travel a bit for my job & normally service Kroger locations. Recently I worked @Martin's & I must say it was a nice change of pace. Their stores are laid out differently with lots of display features. If you have an opportunity, try shopping there.

While Martin's is a good grocery store it still doesn't equal Food City in ky own area. Quite a few commonly purchased spices and sweeteners not in store! Old Bay seasoning. Swerve sweetener. Salmon was not as good as that bought at Food City.

So this place is new for me as we don't have one where I'm from I found some good variety of items fresh fish nice salad bar juice I haven't seen anywhere else pina colada Tropicana (I think) strawberry peach Tropicana simply mixology strawberry guava mojito it may be a little bit pricey but overall a good experience.....oh and apparently there's a robot that roams around with googly eyes I'm not entirely sure what it's purpose is oh and got a bouquet of flowers that are still doing good

I love Martins and the staff is always nice and friendly. However, there’s been a few items I wanted to purchase but couldn’t because the items are well out of date. Please have your team check the Tia’s frozen burritos, random tarter sauces around the seafood area, and the frozen lobster cakes for FIFO. Some of those things expired in July. Other than that I’m always happy just check your products before purchasing.

Found the added beard on Marty, the automated scanner, to be humorous. Normally, Martin's is great for produce, but I must have picked an evening just prior to their next delivery as some of the produce did not have optimal selections. Overall, a nice quiet shopping trip.
