Value for price deserves 5 stars, but it is not perfection.Good location in relation to the interstate, convenience stores and ample cities. Friendly staff. Lots of distractions around the property. Beautiful waterfall and stretch of river.Bunnies, bunnies, bunnies everywhere. Keep your pups on a leash.The sites vary a great deal in size, so check out the map.Wi-Fi is useless, negligible cell signal. Amenities were not kept up all that well, but usable.Would return.

Watch the dates carefully in this store. Boxes of cereal months out of date. Meat department is an absolute joke. Went to pick up a steak yesterday and nothing; even the butcher shop case was empty. I looked like it was never set up for the day. This was at 4:00 on a Friday. I started shopping at this Kroger because the one in Staunton has gotten awful in its own way, too. No more. I'm done Krogering. Such a disappointment, watching this once great grocery chain let itself go. I have to assume these stores no longer get swarmed by the local DM and their team. That kept the stores running smoothly. At least, when employees use to care. Kroger needs to do a lot better. When they do, maybe I'll be back.

I have to give a shout out to the Kroger in Waynesboro VA. I use their pickup service. A few years ago, I occasionally had to wait up to 30 minutes for groceries, but I am happy to say that, in the last year, the groceries have been ready every time!

This store just can't seem to get the pickup orders fulfilled correctly. I've had multiple issues and today was the last straw. Can't even get a refund for the items they charged for and didn't deliver. CHECK YOUR ORDER before leaving!

The store is very old looking inside. Need a remodel, the floors look like it was put down when the store first opened. Very poorly run. I go there for the pharmacy which is great. But for shopping I go to food Lion

1.4.24 seems there are a click of kids thinking they are still in school running the show tonight. There was not an adult in the whole store.Kimberly and crew were said to be cursing out customers and harassed a lady in line according to witnesses.*******I've been a loyal customer for decades****((

Like all the other reviews from the last few MONTHS, this store smells rancid and clearly they’ve done nothing to fix it. There must be an unalive animal somewhere in the air ducts or something. I’m a mortician and nowhere I’ve worked has ever smelled that bad. The floors are disgusting and has dust piled up around the bottom shelves. They look like they haven’t been cleaned in years and even have sink holes. Even the food that’s out is so close to the expiration date, such as the eggs I bought that expire in a week. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice until I got home which is my fault. There was also a manager walking around randomly saying a thing or two to workers when they need to be making calls to fix all the repeating complaints in these reviews. It’s a shame because Kroger has been my go-to for years and I love every other Kroger, but with this being the only one in Waynesboro, the people who regularly shop there need a better store that looks and IS clean and doesn’t smell like roadkill.

The store is filthy and has a major odor. Plus the deli is never open. Get some of these fulfillment people to work the deli and have priority to those of us who shop for ourselves.

I started shopping at this Kroger ~2 years ago and it's now the worst I've seen it.Bananas have always been extremely yellow but now produce unstocked and any remaining produce in poor, spoiled condition.They've recently installed 6 additional self-checkout kiosks but only seem to be able to operate 3-4 of the 12 available at a time. The recently installed self-checkouts don't have a shelf to stack groceries like the original self-checkouts so good luck if you have a lot of items. Of course, that wouldn't be a problem if there were ever more than 1 register being manned.Nothing against the employees who work there. I've had good experiences with them.Regardless, I think I'm going to start shopping at Martin's for my larger purchases.

Not the typical Kroger one would visit in other cities. Poorly stocked, "new" self-check out lanes closed, not a single cashier in sight, nobody in customer service, lines backed up down the isles, out of date dairy products still in the coolers. I recently asked about the most basic Simple Truth Kroger branded items and was told you can speak with a manager but it won't help. They won't stock them if they're not already there. Sad...for the employees.

This store rarely has the Kroger brand iced tea. Went there today they had only ONE(1). we got put it in the basket went to check out it was not put back in the basket !! Did not discover this until we got alllll the waaaay home in Crimora trying to call the store nobody ever answers the darn phone. Last call (just now) they hung up on my wife.

Majority of the cashiers worry more about standing around having inappropriate conversations in the workplace instead of tending to customers and providing a basic level of service. This is sad because this Kroger has the best pharmacy around in terms of service and professionalism.

I have always been a Customer at this location; the Employees are great here, always so friendly & willing to help you find whatever you’re looking for. I am so happy that Kroger has picked up the speed & started offering Pickup. Pickup is sometimes so much more convenient than going inside. And when picking up an order; they are quick to come outside & load your groceries into your vehicle.

Nice staff and great produce and good meat. My wife made this carrot cake for Christmas and everything in the cake came from Kroger. We thank everyone that works for Kroger for a clean and organized store.

It’s New Year’s Eve, I just worked 10 hours and Just wanted to pick up some sodas and bread. Online says they close at 9. Door says they close at 9. 8:53 the doors are locked. They come to let someone out of the store, the man tells me “we closed at 9” I looked at my phone , is 8:56 I understand you don’t want people coming in last minute for big trips but like can’t even get a cold drink and some bread?

For 3 months now I have ask the kroger card rep's to unlink my kroger card with an older card 15 email and 7 phone calls and they can't get it right. I have lost 2000 points over the last months in fuel points and another 500 today. Other have told me the sameI'm done with this pitiful establishment. Incompetent employees.They have lost my business for good and I will shop at Martins where my points are safe from being stolen. Very Poor Customer Service!

The floors are filthy. They have been for years. I know people who shop elsewhere because the place is so dirty. I do most of my shopping at other stores so well because of this.I have notified management of the filthy floors for years. They have done nothing.Addendum, April 2022: I have completely stopped going to this store since before beginning of the year. The place was so dirty.

I've always liked this Kroger despite all its issues but after today's experience I will not be going back. In a nutshell - full cart, not one cash register open & a line for self checkout that went down one of the isles. This location will be the next to close because of poor Management.

I was just in there went in about 3 a.m. this morning came out about 6 a.m. . I like going in there after I get off work at night because it's so much, quieter and more peaceful. It gives me time to be able to check out the labels look around for sales as well as clearance items. You can always find someone to help you at night because the store is not so crowded and everyone else trying to get to the sales associate to ask him a question. All the night employees there are very Pleasant and I've been doing this for about 6 months now twice a week and I've come to know the night shift Kroger Associates very well. I look forward to my next visit next week.

Chronically understaffed. No carts in the corral; had to walk back to the end of the parking lot to find one. Nobody at the front desk at noon on a Saturday with nobody available to staff it. Long lines and only a couple checkout lanes open; self checkout takes forever if you need assistance (like ID for alcohol) since there is only 1 attendant and 6 stations. Double check the dates before buying anything because we've found expired stuff on the shelves often. It's ok but I really wish there were better options here.

The workers there are always pleasant every time I have gone in there. The cashier and bagger I had today were outstanding, and ensured everything was bagged properly and that I had found everything okay.The store has always been clean when I have gone in there as well. The only knock I have is that I always seem to go in after their doughnuts have been sold out-which is on me for not going at the right time.

Has a good stock amd large variety of items. Staff is very helpful.It is obvious that they are UNDERSTAFFED and OVERWORKEDone of the busiest stores in Waynesboro they always seem to be running low on items.Firmly believe this is an issue with CORPORATE not giving the store funding required to maintain the store and pay employees well enough.The Entrance and Exits are swapped due to a poor layout making the entire store feel unintuitively designed.
