The other reviews are not standalone. It's slimy here. Really slimy.Before the change in management, the atmosphere, employees, etc., all seemed generally nicer. What you'd hope to expect.I guess it doesn't help that Delia, the manager, isn't worried about being professional and instead, prefers to run the store into the ground.You will not get or keep any good, hardworking employees with the way you are. Good luck with your minimum wage mess.What a shame.

I love this store. Everything is always affordable and this location in particular is very neat and clean. It is well stocked and the employees are friendly and helpful. When I checked out, the cashier mentioned a nice savings if I would apply for the credit card they offered. I felt that it was a good bargain overall and the product was exactly as stated. I don’t think you could go out of that store empty-handed. There’s something for everyone and it’s very consistent. Kudos to the employees at this location.

Biglots? More like bigots. When you go to shop there and see employees that lack basic hygiene and are incompetent, it really sets a bad tone for the whole experience. Not to mention not wanting to honor sales ads all around the store that they've kept up for weeks because of laziness. I give this store 2 thumbs down.

My wife was a 6 year former employee.Maybe missed 3 days in that time frame. Showed up on time, stayed to help when needed. Recently under new management things started to take a bad turn, she always sent in days she could work, never put on schedule for 3 weeks. She contacted corporate since all her email/request went unread or just plain ignored. She returned to work April 30th, after 2 hours she was informed by Anne Barber she was to be written up, why? Yep that’s the million dollar question. Because she wasn’t able to get the general public to signup. That’s why. This store works on reward cards. If you can not get the people signed up, your in trouble. Needless to say she left. She was being cornered by the current staff. Delia, Anne, Donna, and a few others.I would never recommend anyone looking for a job to apply here. They are Dishonest, Unprofessional, lots of favortism, not to mention they don’t give breaks like the labor law states either. Not trained well, seriously uneducated in putting people in management rolls they can not handle, Stealing, Fraudulently signing up rewards card with fake emails. Ever went in to sign up and your email is already in use? That’s why. My wife had a video of Management signing up cards with fake emails. This employee is still there. My wife was there almost 5 years before anyone in management told her she was eligible for the 401-k plan. So much is going on at this store behind the scenes the public is unaware of. She has been harassed by a former employee 2 years ago and nothing was done about it. BigLots has an open door policy but if you dare use it, trust me retaliation will happen to you. Please don’t work here, it’s a horrible place to work. Management was better when she first started, seriously has gone down hill. Lots of backstabbing!!! I recently renovated a room & needed to purchase a daybed. I went & found what i was looking for & got helped well that day. I had to pick up the following day. On the original day there were 2 women, one was management. The second day was a guy & a girl. They acted as if they had no idea what was going on or who we were & we had the paid receipt. The crazy part is the girl had waited on us the day before.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! I’d give negative stars if I could, went to return an item and was ignored by 3 associates sitting at the counter until I had to inquire for assistance. Than went to do my shopping when I went to check out the 2 associates still at the checkout out counter ignored me again and when I explained my frustration they stated that I was wrong and that they didn’t see me!!! Will NEVER shop there again.

Big Lots has come a long way over the years. Even though they were sold out of what I was looking for, they did show they stocked it and the price was competitive with online prices. Their furniture is very decent and staff has been normally friendly and helpful!

Bought a loveseat in February and the recliner latch broke, so it won't recline. Store refused to make it right because they only cover it for 30 days. Never buy furniture from there. I never will again.

Well, I mean it's a Big Lots. A lot of stuff you don't need. Questionable quality, though if you take your time and look you can find some pretty good things at some pretty good prices. This one is always clean. Would have given it 5 stars, but we're still in September and they already have 90% of their Christmas decor out. Still waiting on them to carry beer as well. But I guess I can't complain. I mean the first thing I said was "Well, I mean it's a Big Lots".

Employees would not help at checkout. I bought a rug and she would not take out her wan to scan the price. A costumer had to help pick it up and hold it over to be scanned. I am 77 years old.

Fun place to shop for the home and kids toys. Holiday items are always exciting to see as no holiday gets overlooked. Nice selection on furniture too. This is a fun store to shop for every season. It is hard to find help out on the floor but when you do find an employee they are usually friendly but hurried. Love this big store! (Not to forget they also have many other items not mentioned here.)

Rug we liked was not marked but all the others that were bigger were marked 29.95. At check out told we learned it was 250.00 and then 200.00 since it was a return. Didn't buy the rug. Returns need to be priced.

Very clean store. Great selection at rather competitive prices. The employees are friendly and helpful. Always cheerful and polite. I highly recommend this store for a quick stop or general browsing.

Big Lots coming up in the world. The building is new well new to them. They have a lot more space than before. A very friendly staff. They even offer their own credit card now. So if you like cheap shopping and good quality product I would recommend it for you

I love Big Lots. Every time I go, I find ten things I want bad, but don't need. If I'm looking for something special, functional, and low cost, I go here. I try not to think too much of how I got a beautifully handcrafted object that took hours for $20, but at least it's not WalMart. It's the $20 store, and in that respect, it's lovely. I'd love it if they became transparent about sourcing, but maybe I'm nuts.

Worst store experience ever. Wife and I cursed by employee. Manager sided,automatically,with employee. Very poor training. Will NEVER darken that doorway again. Extreme reverse racism. Worst case since Charlottesville city council. AVOID AT ALL COST!!

Good place to find deals. Lowes and walmart had a few rugs but big lots had one with buy one get one 50% off. Plus the rug was cheaper to began with. Really nice people too.
