While this place is quite small, they had exactly what I needed at a very fair price. The staff and owner are very helpful and friendly, would definitely go back for fish supplies when I need them. I even got to meet Gordon the tortoise!

Was greeted by Sky and I believe his grandfather or father Tommy. It's a tiny shop with a small assortment of birds, fish, pet supplies and of course a tortoise named Gordon who is the true boss.They sell very well-behaved animals at reasonable prices. I had tiels and a parakeet crawling all over me. Some are more tame than others but I understand, birds are a lot of work.Prices on food and supplies are very reasonable and they probably don't have a lot of margin so I'm going to go as often as I can and give them my money. Either them, Pet Zone or the one I go to in Williamsburg, screw Petco/PetSmart.I did also take a look at the aquariums and the fish seemed well-kept and the supplies were very good. I didn't ask about rodents, rabbits or reptiles mostly because I didn't see any.I enjoyed seeing their macaw, Amazon and Congo as well. They have a lifetime customer now.

They keep their guinea pigs and rabbits in deplorable conditions. They leave males and females together to constantly keep having babies to sell and they almost never have any kind of bedding or hay in their pitiful tanks so they can get urine scald on top of everything else.Leaving babies in the tank that are male after 3 weeks of age is negligent. They can impregnate the females in the cage (including mom) once they reach 3 weeks & you are keeping them together longer than appropriate. You yourself said you didn't know the gender of them when asked.

The owner was so amazing and helpful. Very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. We went in for crickets for our baby dragon and he was so helpful. It's my first lizard so I'm extra cautious with loads of questions and he never missed a beat!

The staff is friendly and helpful. I appreciate having a local store to buy exotic-pet supplies. I'd like to see a bigger stock of frozen feeder rats and mice, but overall it's a great store, especially for a small town!

We bought our children’s first “hands-on” pet from here two days ago. The guinea pig we got is the sweetest. You can tell that he has been handled a lot and is used to people. The owners were very knowledgeable and helpful. Not only did they give us some tips about owning our little pig, but they also had a lot of information about salt water tanks as well, which is something that we are considering doing in the future. When the water bottle that we bought was leaky, the owners tried to help us with it, but ended up letting us exchange it with no issues. You can tell that they care about their customers and are grateful for the business that you give them.

Sold me 2 sick baby bearded dragons with respiratory infections. Found out 24 hours and left a call and they did not call back nor offer a return or replacement. Will not be coming back. Needs to work on husbandry of the reptile enclosures to ensure less infections in the reptiles. Exotic reptiles require more attention and care than a hamster or a fish. But hey, who am I? Lol. Not necessarily bad people, they're just money hungry and could afford to be more caring to their reptiles and customers who if they've given a sick reptile to whether they knew or not SHOULD offer returns or refunds at least within a weeks time minimum. And that's all folks.•Reply to their comment since it won't let me reply.*I have enclosed a screenshot of the call placed on the 16th after the purchase was made on the 15th. I explained what happened and asked about a refund with my full name and phone number asked asked them several times in the voicemail for a call back. They have straight up lied about every single thing in what they just said. Only thing correct that they said was that I purchase my crickets and mealworms elsewhere due to the fact that they charge 1 dollar per 10 set of crickets when I can pay 30 for 1000 of them from TRUSTED sellers. Also whenever I purchased insects from them they were always dead by the next day and most of the time threw already dead crickets in with the live ones and counted them as part of the actual count. And they shorted me on mealworm counts multiple times by about half the amount I was supposed to recieve. I also never had issues with my bigger bearded dragons temps, they are actually speaking false words truly. Because I use a temp gun and digital gauges and hygrometers that I have personally tested instead of the 2 dollar temperature sticker they referred that I use instead of the more accurate ones. Which I still have a receipt for that they INSISTED I purchase instead of the actual gauges. Disgusting. The advice I have recieved from actual exotic vets that specialize in bearded dragons have told me majority of the information and advice they had given me was false. Honestly, most pets stores give false information regarding exotic reptiles anyway. These people will say literally anything to get customers to believe they are these good local petshop. Also, they claim they had him since before Thanksgiving but yet he stated the baby was only a month old, if that. Which means they did not have him before thanks giving or even a little after. They had him maybe 3 and half weeks TOPS considering they get the baby beardies shipped there. Ya know, if they just would have let me return the baby or refunded me at minimum then this review would not have even been left. In a 23-24 hour period of my care, the illness of this baby bearded dragon would not be my fault. Especially when I keep my humidity levels at 30. And I hadn't even fed the baby beardie any bugs yet, he'd only eaten a salad before I noticed he was sick the next day. And his basking spot was at 105° and his cold side was at 80°. Don't let them fool you, they lie about things just like other people. Business owners or not.

I buy most all of my tank needs from them.from food to fish.an they back up what they sell to you.l drive around 85 miles to use there store.and alway happy to get there and to buy from them. Decent prices. Some fish were emaciated, but could be due to stress. Mammals were very people shy. Tortoise appears to be a rescue, and looks decent. Wide variety of foods and decor.
