Rigby and I love the park. I love the gate system, double lock chute system so no one escapes. The water fountain is back on, and when it was off many dog parents left bottles of water so it was never an issue. There is a huge hole (not dog created) and a few spots that are all gravel. Otherwise it's wonderful. Dogs and owners are almost always very nice, and the few dogs we've met that were just learning to socialize have had parents that maintained control.Dog-friendliness: It is a dog park

Recently added this place, and now I ALWAYS stop in Warrenton! Perfect fenced-in area next to a paved walking trail that runs for a fair ways.We've never walked the entire length, so uncertain, but certainly enough for a stretch of the legs, plenty of sniffing and peeing for your fur babies to enjoy.Dog-friendliness: Have been there both with and without other dogs in the park. Never been crowded.

Best therapy in town for me and the dog I'm fostering. Wonderful socializing with good people who love their fur babies as much as I do. I pray they never close it down. Just wish the water fountain wasn't closed at first frost. As we all know, VA fall weather fluctuates frequently

My 1st impression....not. Not being from the area, I began to wonder where this place was. It was at the end of a street & there were a bunch of service trucks in the lot. We were fostering a dog & thought a great place to meet the adopters was here. However, it was closed. Wasn't reopening until May 15. Really? How ridiculous. Comparably speaking, it's a small dog park with grass. I'm use to a large park with mulch. Much easier to clean up after your dog.

I want to love a dog park in Warrenton but the substrate is grass and as I predicted it has turned into a torn up muddy mess. Apparently they're going to spend money to improve the drainage but with the amount of activity it gets it will still end up torn up and muddy.Otherwise it's great. It has a water fountain and a lovely hill in the back that my dog uses for slowing down when she's chasing the ball.Just wish it didn't get closed every other week because of the issues with the grass.

Small park for all size dogs. Has a water fountain, operational in Spring, a ball containment bin, some trees and a nice entry gate. Plastic bags are attached to the waste disposal cans. It's a nice addition to the area.

Very clean! Lots disposal bags and stations to make clean up easy, and agood number of benches for the humans to rest while the dogs run. My only issue is that it is not secure enough for little dogs like my 9lb chihuahua. He escaped through the sides of the gates and started down the Greenway.

Medium size area for an off leash park, but best human and dog water fountain I have ever seen, high quality latches on the double gate, and no membership required (unlike Winchester and Va Beach), and a short two block stroll from the main street shops of Old Town Warrenton and adjacent to a converted rail to trail for longer dog walks. The perfect dog+human stop for travelers.

Dog and I love that there's a dog park in Old Town, but what genius thought putting that green netting in a dog park was a good idea? The netting is to help the grass (and as such is an unmitigated failure), but after we leave the park I have to spend 15 or 20 minutes removing all that green netting from her legs, tail and undercarriage. -pgs

Nice small park but people are still inconsiderate and don't pick up after their dogs. There are plenty of bags and waste baskets, its not that hard..come on people!

Very nice park. Dogs and owners were friendly. Clean and lots of grass. It's one large area, not separated for large and small dogs.

Looks pretty nice and busy. Glad they put this in to give people a place to let their dogs run instead of unleashed on the Greenway. There people/dog water fountains are a nice touch.

Fun big park, great for tamed leash dogs. Not overly huge, but there's plenty of room for lots of dogs to meet and play

I appreciate the fact that there is a dog park in town but hardly anyone goes here so there's very little socialization available. Most people go to the one in Vint Hill

Nice little park. Close to my house but If it rains it's very muddy. Idk if theres a fix for that but it would be nice .
