I consulted with Matt and Rose to design the correct building for our Training Facility. The building roof and existing structures/colors were exactly what we needed. This was our first visit to This n' That Amish Outlet. We were looking for porch swings and this outlet had several that we liked. We purchased two. They are having a tent sale now so head on down to Warrenton, Va and see the great deals there. They have a wide variety of merchandise outside and inside the store. We interacted with several people who work here during our visit and everyone was so helpful and nice. Visit today, you won't be disappointed!

We recently purchased a shed at This n 'That and we couldn't be more satisfied with both the final product – a beautiful, well-constructed building that fits in perfectly with our yard – as well as with the entire process of selecting and purchasing our shed! We have been researching and shopping around for poly deep seating and found This N' That Amish. Their prices were very fair and competitive with all the other brands that we found out there. They had seating on their lot that we were able to try out and the service we received from Matt was great. He quickly assisted us with pricing and ordering and we even received a discount for purchasing on Black Friday. Would highly recommend.

I don't know what the "Amish" connection was but this was just another grossly over-priced home decor shop. As I took some snapshots for the review, the sole employee began to chew me out for "taking pictures then going home and building copies". It is always welcoming to have an employee bust your chops instead of creating a welcoming atmosphere..Some outbuildings and furniture were of good quality but prices were insane and most items had nothing to do with the Amish/Mennonite culture. Just the name. Talk about cultural appropriation.If you really want Amish stuff, Holmes County, Ohio is a short 5 hour drive away. The stores there are the real deal.

The chicken coops, birdhouses, and interior decorations procured my interest right away, so we stopped here when passing through just to check it out. Staff was super nice and cool and everything was super unique and inspiring. If I had recently bought property or a house near this place, I would go here first for ideas. And of course, even though we came to just look — I couldn’t leave without buying one of the painted gourd birdhouses and my boyfriend wanted one of the sturdy plant stands. Just so awesome!

We recently had a 12x22 shed/garage built for the tractor we recently purchased, and we could not be happier with how the planning and installation went. During the on-site visit the owner gave us some excellent suggestions. The site prep folks left a perfectly sized and leveled foundation, and well-done sculpting of the adjacent ground to ensure good drainage. The Amish building crew was not only fast (~4 hrs. start to finish), but more importantly the quality of the work was not compromised by speed. I worked as a teen in my family's home-improvement business, so I know what "done right" is. The crew's execution of the build was excellent -- I have looked at the building very closely, and have yet to find anything about their work to nit-pick. This n' That is the place we'll go to first when we need another such structure.

After deciding to add a three-car garage to our property in Warrenton, I stopped by This n’ That to see what they had to offer. I had heard really good things about Amish built structures and was intrigued by appearance of the two-car model on their lot.Matt showed me the build options, the construction methods, and explained the process. I was impressed with Matt’s construction knowledge and his ability to answer every question that I threw at him. I was also impressed with the build quality of the model. In my opinion it reflected the craftsmanship that Amish builders are known for. Aside from cost, my biggest question was “..if they built a garage on my property, would it be of the same quality as the ‘demo’ on their lot?”I returned with my wife, since the commitment to have This n’ That build a garage on our property was a big one. She liked what she saw (as well as the beautiful furniture in their showroom). Like other folks have said, there’s a strong relationship between This n’ That and the Amish folks who hand build their indoor and outdoor furniture, sheds, coops, and garages. It became evident as we toured their shop and checked out their brochures. We sat down with Matt to handpick our many, many options – from siding type, ceiling height, to garage door style of our custom-built garage…..and we pulled the trigger.All initial aspects of the project (permit application, foundation, etc) went smoothly.As the final build date approached, I went over a few details with the project manager in PA and he confirmed when his crew would be showing up at my house.Exciting stuff!When the Amish builders showed up, they immediately staged the site and got to work like a well-oiled machine. I watched as they worked non-stop and only took a short break for lunch. They were all about as friendly and respectful as a person could be. Everyone had a task and nobody was ever sitting around. The work ethic and inherited skill that these young men possess is truly impressive. American craftsmanship like this seems to be harder and harder to find these days.They had my garage built and the site cleaned up in just two days! Truly amazing. Everything was spot-on and built to our specifications. Not a single boo-boo.Their attention to detail and pride in workmanship is second to none.IMPORTANT: There were no extra or unforeseen costs tacked on at the end of the project (a first for me).We now have a beautiful, quality garage that has increased our property value substantially; and the finished product is way beyond our expectations.And my big question was answered. I upgraded my old wood Adirondacks on my dock to two new poly folding Adirondacks last week from the store on 29. I absolutely love these chairs, very well made and comfortable! Worth the price and they even have cup holders. The ladies at the Warrenton store were very nice and helpful!

I purchased a ceramic fruit bowl thinking it was an "Authentic Amish" made product, as the store advertises. After getting it home and looking on the bottom of the bowl, I see "Made in China." I thought I was supporting an American made business, but apparently everything in the store is not "authentic." Disappointed, to say the least, on spending $67 on a bowl I probably could have bought for $10 at Home Goods.

Can’t say enough wonderful things about This and That Amish Outlet! We worked with Rose and Steve to purchase, design and build a 2-story 3 car garage. The whole process was surprisingly easy with ALL my questions (and there were many!) answered, and everything we wanted executed. As someone new to the world of building - they went above and beyond to make sure I understood, and was comfortable with the process. I went here to find a new chicken coop since we were moving and we couldn’t take our current one with us. The coops here are really good quality and fairly priced. We ended up getting the cutest coop with a front porch. Everyone at this n’ that was super helpful and knowledgeable and they were able to set up delivery quickly. My wife and I live on a small mountain and the topography is steep. Last year, we ordered a shed and were very pleased with the whole process. (sales, value, site selection, site preparation and finally the delivery.)We were so happy that we ordered a garage this year. The build quality was superior to other retailers we looked at. It was a turn key transaction. They helped us pick out a shed which met our HOAs requirements for color and construction. Terrible customer service. Purchased two items from the furniture store and was asked to sign two receipts as one needed to be ordered. I received one item and it was damaged and I returned it. After a few weeks, I received a base of a china cabinet and a corner table I had never seen before and returned them both. I finally received the replacement replacement for the damaged piece and a bookcase I ordered. I recently discovered I had paid for the other piece of furniture that I returned as it was listed on one of the receipts I signed. They never mentioned that I had already paid for the furniture when I sent it back nor offered a refund - seems unethical. When I discovered I had paid for the furniture, they refused a refund or a credit and were rude on top of it. I ended up donating the furniture to a local charity. I am not sure how the mix up occurred but I will never buy from them again.

I ordered a bedroom outfit in November, when it came in in May it was all wrong. They replaced the order, when it came in in June, they had one piece wrong and was missing another piece. I was told the missing piece would be ready in two weeks, it was ready in 4 weeks. I called to see about a discount and the manager offer a really small gift card or I could get half of the gift card in cash.The thing is, I could go to This n That right now and get the exact outfit for cheaper then what I got it for. They wouldn’t even match that deal.They don’t care about the customer once they get your money.I will never ever buy from this place again.…………….Buyer Beware……………

I love the Old Town Warrenton This n That! The staff is always so helpful. I ordered a new bedroom set and the woman in the shop was amazing at helping me customize it to my taste (wood, stain, hardware). They were also great at keeping in contact with me on the status of my furniture and scheduling the delivery. Now that the Old Town location has moved to their new spot they carry so much in their store! More than just furniture, but beautiful farm house styled decor and housewares. I got so many Christmas presents tonight and some decorations for my own house. A must stop if in Warren

The team was excellent to work with. They helped us design a fantastic playground for our children and were accommodating to our needs. We felt absolutely no pressure and the team was patient while we considered all of our options. The design was professional and we received a detailed proposal by email to confirm everything we wanted. The installation was on time and professionally completed. I was impressed how the install team was able to get the playground into our back yard without any trouble or damaging the lawn. The playground is level and sturdy. I highly recommend This n' That Amish Outlet and will gladly buy from them again.
