My family and I love this bookstore. We have been enjoying our trips to The Open Book since it opened, and The Open Book is everything an independent bookshop should be. The owner, Cammie, and her booksellers are are not only helpful and knowledgeable but care deeply about the community. I have met so many amazing people through the book clubs for writers. I cannot imagine Warrenton without this bookshop.

I've been a regular at this shop since it opened and it is my favorite place in town. My kids beg me to go there, and my daughter can't wait to be able enough to get a job there. Cammie and her staff always have the perfect book recommendation, the shop has a great atmosphere, and the events are fantastic. I can't recommend this place enough!

I love this book store! I attended a writing club and met 20 of my closest friends there. Ky kids beg me to take them here. I find all of the latest book releases and if they don’t have it, they order it for me! I love supporting this small business and my community. No more Zon for me!

I discovered this store during a local scavenger hunt/puzzle hunt event and boy am I glad I did. After an issue I had with a preorder through a large retailer, I attended a midnight release party there and the ladies were so welcoming and fun and planned such a special night for the release. You expect these kinds of things at large retailers, but it’s a lot of hard work for a small shop, so I think that speaks volumes about the care and passion they have for books and readers. The shop itself is super cozy and inviting. This will be my new go-to place for physical books.

Such a cute book store! Find this gem while getting a sandwich at great harvest, they are connected. Atmosphere is super warm and welcoming. They have a wide selection of books and gifts (journals, totes, etc.). Owner was very polite and informative. Would certainly return and recommend.

This is one of my favorite places and it's no wonder that it has won so many awards from the community. The owner and her staff work to create and warm and welcoming environment for all with friendly faces, community events, and great advice on books for one's self and as gifts. The store itself is bright and charming and makes you want to stay for hours curled up in a comfy reading chair. I am so thankful for everything that the Open Book does for the town of Warrenton.

This is a great local bookstore with excellent service that you’ll never find at the big chains. There’s a little bit of everything from Fiction to Classics to new Non Fiction and Cookbooks. There’s a lovely children’s selection and several cozy seating areas if you want to hang out and read. They can order anything you’d like if you don’t see it in the shop and they’ll call to notify you when it’s in so you can swoop by and pick it up (they’ll bring your order right out to your car).

The Open Book is a truly wonderful book store. The selection is solid, and the staff is nice. I use their in-store pickup option frequently, and it is really fantastic! Being able to order online and pick it up when it's ready has been very convenient for me. If you are wanting books, I would highly recommend getting them from The Open Book!

Somewhat overpriced but the staff is knowledgeable and will help you find the author/book you are looking for. Most of the books are new releases so a significant portion of the selection revolves around LGBTQ, anti-racism/BLM, social justice, etc. Good balance of nonfiction, fiction, and children's titles. Would like to see more classics and discounted books!

We stopped by today and we fell in love with this charming store! Very friendly and great selection of books. As a family of avid readers we were happy to see many of our favorites as well as plenty of new books! My daughter picked up Princess in Black #1 and we were back for #2 an hour later.Update - I always pre-order books I want to read from them and they're excellent about letting me know when the books come in. Smooth process and I love being able to easily shop small and local.

Absolutely adorable! Loved how wide their selection was for a small store. Personalized recommendations all over which I always love. An older woman there was very friendly and helpful to find items. They had cute knick knacks but I just couldn't get over how good their selection was!! Can't wait to come back when I have more time

They are not only a book store but a community staple. With story smash, poetry improves and children’s interactive reading. The love of books you get to feel when you walk in.

Super cozy little bookstore on Main St. in Warrenton! The kids section is terrific, and both my daughters and I spent a good 45 minutes browsing (and finally choosing!). They have lots of community oriented events, and can order whatever they don't carry or have in. Stop at Great Harvest next door for a coffee and a treat while reading your new book!

There aren't enough stars to give Old Town Open Book! I love them. The staff is friendly and they're Tuesday story time for kids is fun and engaging. Story time starts at 11, every Tuesday. They have a great selection of books too. Lots of fun books fo young kids, but also a great variety for adults and young adults.Old Town Open Door is becoming my favorite thing about Warrenton.

Support your local bookstore rather than Amazon. This shop is in a great spot in Old Town and the staff is beyond friendly. They can order any book you want, either by phone or in-store.
