Stopped by to check out their tack and to ask if they knew any farm/horse sitters. The lady we spoke with wound up calling a friend who did this and passed on her contact info to us. Which was great. She also suggested some other places to check.We're Western riders and this was the first tack store nearby that carried Western tack. The have a good selection of used saddles (sold on consignment) and other tack as well as a selection of English tack.They were all incredibly friendly and helpful and we'll definitely be back the next time we need tack, some "horsey" clothes or wine.

A friend recommended Galloping Grape for their great selection of used saddles. Kim (Owner) did not disappoint and was very helpful in getting us set up with the right one. Also referred us to a fitter that filled in any knowledge gaps we had. It’s quite a long drive for us but the selection and support way outpaced the two alternative saddle consignments, and the one saddlery with new saddles only. Very happy we went there.

The Galloping Grape sold my dressage saddle, quick payment, easy process. They advised on asking price which garnered me more than I thought it was worth even after paying a commission fee. I would highly recommend them for consignment. They also always have a wide variety of nice saddles for sale that you can try.

Kim is very knowledgeable about wines and her horses. I have sold saddles and bought saddles from her. She is a Ghost saddle rep and I just acquired my first one so I don't have to struggle with a 30 lb trail saddle. Horse likes it and I feel solid in it. I also have English saddles from her.

I have purchased three saddles from the Galloping Grape. The owner is very knowledge about saddles fitting properly to any type of horse. You can bring your horse to her or she will come to your horse within reasonable distance. Owner is also very knowledge about the wines she sells. She has helped my husband and I pick out many wines and we have totally enjoyed them all. Great little shop for equine and wine.

Kim was very pleasant with myself and my friend when we came in looking for Treeless Saddles. Great customer service and a very friendly and inviting attitude. We were able to find exactly what we was look for. Both my friend and I bought the Ghost Saddle quevis style as suggested by Kim, these saddle are well sought after. After some research this saddle is one of the best by far.My friend took it for a Trial run period which Kim allows before purchasing the saddle to make sure it will fit both you and the horse. My friend said at the end of 1.5 trail ride she would normally be really stiff in the legs from the Western saddle she has been ridding in for Decades. She said she did not feel even a slightlest discomfort and could ride on for 5 hrs. This convinced her enough not to look back and keep the Ghost Saddle. And I have done the same as I am sure this will impress me on the trails and rides to come. No more Treed Saddle.

Not a great interaction. After unsuccessfully trying to buy the saddle through their online purchase option (which didn't work), I emailed asking about a saddle I wanted to purchase. I received a misspelled, terse, email from the owner agreeing to follow up with me soon. When I emailed the next day asking about a schedule for sending me the saddle she told me it had been sold. It's a pity, I would have bid against the other prospective buyer and gone above the asking price, so she lost her consignment client money through her actions. Generally, the entire interaction I had with the owner felt "bad." There was also no disclosure that the saddle tree was previously broken and had been replaced. I had to get that information from the saddle maker.Apparently, from the comments below by the owner, she forgot she emailed in response to my query about buying the saddle by stating "Someone called the shop at 11 when we opened and bought it...." This would indicate that her response stating that "the customer that bought the saddle before you was able to buy it, and did not seem to have any issues" is disingenuous.

We went here looking for a saddle. They had one that almost worked for my boy but didn't. The trial period was decent. the staff (whom, I think was the owner) was amazingly helpful.And you get get wine there as well. As an equestrian...who could as for anything more.All you need in one stop.

Also a place to buy wines. Owner special ordered what I was seeking - Italian Moscato to match the one I recently had on an Italian cruise. She did a wonderful job of finding what I wanted, and ordering just for me. Highly recommended.
