My dog and I recently moved back to Virginia, and I was worried it would be hard to find a new groomer! He is a Samoyed and not everyone knows how to properly groom a double coated breed. Our new vet recommended that we try The Dog Spa, and I am so glad we did!!The staff is very sweet and made my dog feel comfortable. He looked amazing when I picked him up, and didn’t show any signs of discomfort-which is a big deal as he isn’t exactly thrilled to be groomed. HahaIf you have a double coated dog, or any dog, I highly recommend The Dog Spa!

I was most impressed with this groomer. I had not found a good groomer. My dog felt very comfortable there. She did a wonderful job. My dogs nails have never been better and I love the cut. Highly recommend.

I stopped in hoping to use the self service dog wash for my son's stinky Pitty that I was going to be stuck in the car with for 5 hours. I went in and explained the situation that I was taking him to see his Marine for the first time in 7 mos. The girls were kind enough to just take him in on the spot (even though they were booked out thru July) and gave him a bath, a nail trim, and whatever else they did to make him smell amazing and feel the softest he's ever felt. It's been 3 days, and we even went to the beach, and he's STILL soft!

We took our dog Chromie here for the first time today and we LOVED them. We loved the whole layout and how it felt that the dogs weren't just be shut away into cages and the owner/groomer was wonderful. SO nice! And they were very quick. With other groomers we've dropped her off at she has been there for upwards of 4 1/2 hours and they only took about 2 1/2. I would highly recommend them and plan on taking my dog back.

Took my little Penny to Ms Ashley and she did an amazing job. Penny was a little nervous to start but Ms Ashley put her right at ease and she looked fabulous after her bath and nail trim. High recommend The Dog Spa. We will be back.
