The workers are really nice, but some guy manager was god awful. He has them sell expired pastries, don't buy from this Starbucks at all. LolWho knows what else they sell thats bad.Update:It turns out the nice employees I mentioned are either terribly underpaid or ended up fired.

This safeway always always has something missing that is on my list. It id very annoying having to rethink if i want to go to a different store to get it or survive without it. I get their remolding but even before it was always the same..I will rarely come here now because its not that anyways.

Some items weren't available or out of stock. But most of the things I wanted to buy, I was able. Very organized. Half of the self-checkout stations were out of order, but that usually doesn't last for too long. Thanks, Safeway.

It’s one of my favorite places to shop, and i find everything I need, but the only thing that bothers me is that the fruit is almost always a bit rotten and after finishing the rest of my shopping there I have to go to another grocery store and buy my fruits

This Safeway is one of the best ones I’ve been to. The staff is continually welcoming and helpful. The shelves are consistently stocked and you can usually find some good deals on the various discount areas. The meat selection is really good but hands down the bakery is the best part of the store. Always stocked with things that you know you probably shouldn’t have but end up in your cart anyway. The only complaint is that there are a lot of registers with only one or two open often causing lines that run into the aisles (if you don’t want to use self check out that is).

If you’re looking to get a job here, don’t get one. It’s not a high paying job. I worked there for 3 and a half years and they never raised my hourly wage enough to my expected needs. They started me with $8.25. Then over the course of working, the highest wage they ever given me was $9.60.Although, the only thing I liked about the place was how everyone was friendly. Including the manager. She was nice to me. The food is great too.

Always clean, organized, and the managers keep it stocked as full as possible with what they can get when they can get it. I haven't felt lacking with too much with this store since Covid. The pharmacy staff is exceptional and very helpful. The bakery has helped me with several parties and was very pleased with the products. The homemade tortilla chip are just the best. The Starbucks is always staffed and makes excellent drinks unlike many in-store Starbucks. This particular Safeway is top-notch in my books.

Great prices on Easter meats. I don't like the stores that show a sale price but only with additional purchase. I like that Safeway showed a sale price and that is what rang up with the digital coupon. I just moved to this town and am pleased with this store.

Not sure when this happened, but after doing a price compare, Safeway has become the most expensive grocery store in Warrenton. I only say that it's more expensive than Harris Teeter because Harris teeter often has prices marked down for members.

This is my go to grocery store for just about everything. Always a good selection and variety of items. Fresh produce is very good as well as a fair selection of deli items.

I would give this store more then 5 stars! Steven Lane (maintenance guy) went above and beyond to help my mom find what she needed. We noticed that they were out of something and Steven took the time without being asked and looked in the back to locate the item. He then found us and asked us how many we needed then took the rest of it over to stock the shelf. Thank you Steven for your help!

The Safeway is like any other Safeway in my opinion doesn’t have really much of a large selection for different foods especially for those that have a gluten and dairy free diet. I’ve only had one really bad experience with a cashier, but other than that they’re mainly friendly and the store is kept clean.

This is a great place for every day grocery shopping. I especially like their fresh fruits bowls. Having the Safeway card is a plus and when used in combination with the Safeway coupons, saves you a lot of money.Occasionally they have free items on their app, where you can also get their regular coupons. The app also check for the items you buy regular and show you matching coupons.

Purchased gas. Wanted some tobacco. Had a face covering on. The employee said it had to be a mask. Wrong. Then wanted to i.d. me. I'm 50 years old. Way above 18. Use a little common sense people. $25.00 walked out of your store. Sure she doesn't care. Food Lion for me from now on. They're mask policies way more tolerable.

I work for this company in the 80s and we took pride in what we did in our store. Now there is no pride of ownership of your job. Things are not stocked in the proper place. When there is an issue people just say it’s not my job, do you want the manager. The manager does nothing. For example navel oranges, some have the numbered four digit on their tag some do not. So you think you’re picking up what is supposed to be a sale item, but you really don’t know what you’re getting, because the staff themselves are not stocking the produce properly. Then the checkers don’t know the difference from one product item to another, so they can’t figure out if the codes they are entering are correct or not. Then the freezer section is a whole different story, especially when it comes to the ice cream. They do not stock the flavors in the right sections, so ordering is affected, when you have multiple slots on different shelves of the same flavor, it is sheer laziness

bought 2 packs of Turkey. got home and opened them to find they were rotten. thinking that they wouldn't want rotten meat back in the store I took a picture and went in to swap them. they still had more rotten meat on the shelf and I showed them. the lady got an attitude and would not swap out my 2 packs because I didnt have my receipt or the rotten meat with me. what "amazing" customer service....will never shop there again. I hope the $10 worth of meat was worth it.

I ordered groceries to be delivered last night to my home and the order did not come during my window. I called the customer service representative at Warrenton Safeway and he told me that my food was probably running late and I should wait. This was at 10 pm at night. He said that the food was already delivered to a third party but I was never noticed about that on my phone. So I am assuming they forgot about the order and tried to push the blame off them. This is the second and last time I will ever use Safeway to delivery groceries. Their customer service is terrible. The first time I ordered food to be delivered they gave me old fruit and substituted my food with options that just did not make sense. If you are looking for a good grocery delivery service Safeway is not a good choice. I suggest the Harris Teeter in Warrenton.

Safeway is great, it's clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The only thing I have a problem with is there never seem to be enough registers open. They don't have a self checkout either. So after collecting all the groceries waiting in a huge line with a small child is sort of hit or miss. They should hire more people to work the registers.

Love shopping at Safeway! Their meat and seafood departments offer a great selection and the quality is excellent! Have shopped at Safeway for years and their prices are very competitive and the staff is always so friendly!!
