Meadows Farms always has the best selection of plants and flowers. It is the "go to" nursery every spring for my annuals, vegetable plants, herbs and landscaping. The employees are so helpful. They allow you to walk around without bothering you but are readily available when you do need help. And the prices are reasonable.

I just realized that this nursery is doubling their cost per yard of mulch! $24/yd compared to $47/yd. That’s insane. Could have saved over $200 by going 5 more miles down the road to Remington Mulch (which is where Meadows gets their mulch from) probably at a lower bulk rate too. I can understand some mark up, but 50+%!? Never again.Jay, appreciate the response but there was no confusion. I even stopped in today and spoke with your manager (Kevin, I believe) who pretty much said that other places charge less. And your plain mulch is $30/yd, but black is $45/yr. My numbers were a little off but was able to pull receipts for comparison. $45/yd compared to $23/yd for Black Mulch...

Going out of my way to leave a review because it was such a great experience. Barb at the Warrenton location was stellar! I have zero knowledge of plants and landscape and she assisted me thru finding just the right plants I needed for my raised planter boxes. The results are spectacular and could not believe the reasonable prices as well. When I purchased more than could fit in my car, they gladly assisted by setting it aside so I could return with my pickup and the staff eagerly helped load it as well. You can really tell these folks love working there and kudos to the management team for promoting such a wonderful culture. it is inspirational as a business owner myself to see such a well run team of people who clearly love what they do! If I could give 6 stars, I would!!!

The staff here know nothing about the stock. We stopped here to shop for blackberry bushes and were soon greeted by a an employee offering to help us. He said that the fruit plants were scattered around, and he didn't know if they had any, but that he would look and come find us as we wandered around looking. About 5-10 minutes later, my wife spotted him carrying some plant for another customer, and that was the last we saw of him. After more fruitless wandering, I went to the front desk and asked if they had any blackberry bushes in stock, and after a little delay while the cashier checked the computer, I was told that they had no blackberry plants in stock. Meanwhile, my wife went into the greenhouse and found three different varieties. We picked out a couple, paid, and left, but this was a less than stellar experience.

For the last several seasons we have relied on Meadows for our garden and yard needs. We have always been able to speak to someone who could offer tips and suggestions to make our plants and trees grow well. We have not been disappointed.This is one reliable, healthy nursery.

We bought tomato plants from Meadows Farms this Spring and they are now over 6 feet tall and are bearing the most delicious fruit (both cherry tomatoes and regular size). We also bought some pampas grass to replace some that had died from another nursery. These grass plants are also flourishing. We find Meadows Farms to be very well maintained, with knowledgeable and friendly staff. We always enjoy our shopping experience there.

This location of the nursery chain had a limited supply of the annuals we were seeking. Probably not surprising in mid-July, but very sparsely stocked compared to the location in Merrifield itself. Service was quick and courteous.

We bought heavy stepping stones for the walkways around our house and the staff was so gracious to load them for us. They also recommended and delivered a bulk load of top soil at a single go when we thought we'd have to make six trips in the pickup just to get enough. The frogs love to float on the water lillies in our pond and the birds love the birdbath. It's definitely a one stop shop for us in the Spring.

I have been here a few times. I love this place. Just got my reasonably priced tree, with a lot of helpful people, a fire going, pretty wreaths. I come and get flowers every spring. There is a VIP program. It is wonderful.

Meadows Farms has a vast amount of flowers shrubs and trees. I can always find obscure varieties here. The plants are well cared for and have never failed to thrive when I get them home. Prices are reasonable as well.

Just moved to the area and have visited Meadow Farms a few times. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. I was looking for 2 items that were not in stock, an Oak Leaf Hydrangea and a Verrigated Red Twig, neither were in stock for the summer. I can only hope to find them in the fall.

I love this garden center and will continue to shop there, however, I bought a water fountain that had been ruinning and was loaded with stinking algae. I think Meadow Farm should add a chemical to the fountains to prevent this. I had to spend 30 minutes scrubbing my "new" fountain before setting it up.

I keep coming back because of one very knowledgeable employee, I think her name is Barbara. she helped me find 4 shrubs of the same size and type. She also diagnosed a spider mite problem, after 3 other employees misdiagnosed. She also recommended a remedy that worked very weill. I hope she never leaves!
