I have a young Standard Schnauzer that competes in AKC conformation. Leslie does an amazing job grooming him. I drive all the way from Fairfax to have her work on him. She does hand stripping to maintain the hard wiry coat. I highly recommend Georjeans and Leslie!!

Best in the area! The owner Leslie and her staff are great -- capable, friendly, reliable -- and my dogs look great. Best of all, the dogs seem to actually enjoy going there. Amazing! On the latest visit they perked up when I pulled into the parking area and seemed eager to go in for their grooming. Leslie is also a professional breeder, trainer, and show handler, so she really knows what dogs need and how to make them look their very best.

A great spot for self service dog wash or professional grooming. The staff is friendly, professional and so helpful. Fully knowledgeable about how to work with timid dogs. My Aussie loves bath time at Georjeans!! And he is even getting comfortable with the blow dryers.

I highly recommend this grooming shop if you are looking to keep any wire coated dog stripped. They staff is knowledgeable, dedicated and always finishes the dog on time. I don't take my Scottish Terrier to anyone else. Hand stripping is an art and you get what you pay for. This shop offers excellent hand stripping as a fair price.

I live in Arlington and drove an hour to have Leslie at Georjeans work with my 2 years old Irish Wolfhound, Murphy. It was very much worth the travel time. She knew exactly how to manage his coat, was very sweet and loving to Murphy, and charged a very reasonable price for the amount of work that was done. Leslie, who also shows beautiful champion Schnauzers, also gave me lots of great advice in working and dealing with my dog. Murphy looks amazing and was a happy pup when I picked him up. We will definitely keep going back and making the trip!

We'd previously used the self serve dog wash here and loved the convenience. This past January we brought our long haired GSD in for a thorough grooming, and Leslie did an amazing job. Ruby came out looking like a supermodel and that is some backbreaking work. Sadly, we lost her a few weeks later, but are so appreciative of the hard work put in by Leslie <3

I took my 1 year old Standard Schnauzer (SS), Chloe, to Georjeans Pet Grooming for her first official "haircut". We had taken her to have her feet, face, fanny trimmed but were usually disappointed because she was uneven or set aside because she was time consuming.We chose to keep her ears natural so we did not think the normal Schnauzer cut would look good on her so when I arrived at Georjeans, I met with Leslie. She was GREAT! She took the time to spend with Chloe and watch her behaviors, look at her then current condition and discuss our options. She was very informative about the pros and cons of each of our options.Before Chloe's session, she almost looked like a sheep dog and we had grown accustomed to that look on her. I left Chloe for the day not really knowing what to expect but, when I picked her up she looked beautiful! Leslie had to design a cut for Chloe that was right for her and it was right on target.. Leslie took the time to discuss how she groomed and worked with her. Since this was Chloe's first real grooming session, Leslie had to take a lot of time outs with her and worked on some behavioral issues as well. Her comments were not critical of Chloe but very informative and appreciated. She is apparently the "typical SS puppy" who is very energetic, independent and playful. I will only take Chloe to Georjeans in the future because she looks so good and I appreciated the time taken to groom her on a very busy Saturday.I would highly recommend Georjeans Dog Grooming if you want a cut that fits your dog and want someone who really knows what she is doing.

First I'd give her extra stars if I could.Leslie did a fantastic job on my Standard Schnauzer. She looks beautiful. I have groomed my schnauzers myself for the past 20 years, but was happy to give Leslie a try and she did not disappoint. Her prices are very reasonable considering the amount of work involved in grooming a dog. Since I've done it myself, I know exactly how tedious and time consuming it can be -- and how hard it is to get the right look for a dog that doesn't simply get an all over buzzcut.If you have a schnauzer and you want it look wonderful, take your dog here. Make an appointment then take a break and tour Old Town Warrenton. It's a beautiful little town full of history.Totally worth the trip.

In the past, we couldn't get our Lab to go into the same place twice to get a bath. You'd try to take him back a 2nd time and he'd panic and resist. He has been to Georjeans every few weeks for a year now and is happy to go each time. We know he's being treated well and he comes out looking and smelling great!

Owner is very imposing when she tells other clients why and how her dogs should be trimmed which I observed and was turned off by also over price and do the same job most groomers do. Place needs renovation very old and not alive nice shop just my opinion I guess that's why it's in the middle of no where behind a alley way but one star from me

Every time I have walked my dogs down on "walk in" days, nobody is there, and I have yet to get through to anybody on their phone line..Havnt been able to experience service, so I can't speak on wether they do good work or not, but I'm sure they have lost business with people going there only to find out nobody is inside and the doors are locked..
