I don't know what it is about this food Lion but it's by far the best I've ever been to.The shelves are always well stocked and they look neat and tidy. Labels for products are always facing out and are presented well. The produce always looks nice, and again is presented well. Also, strangely, the wings on the hot bar are some of the best I've had in Warrenton aside from Molly's. I'm not even kidding. The store is also always clean.The employees at the store are always friendly and ask if you need assistance if they see you. Other than Wegmans I don't think any grocery store does this anymore, it seems like employees try to avoid talking to you.Good job y'all!

One of my favorite grocery stores. I don't always go here as it's a little out of my way, but in particular during the pandemic and quarantine, the employees were extremely kind and helpful here. The pandemic, and especially quarantine was rough at times. A friendly interaction with an employee could make your day at a time such as that. Oh and produce is usually quality as well.

This is a very good food lion. I've been to a few sketchy ones but this one is really awesome. The wine section is amazing and the people rock. If you have the option of this place and Safeway, drive here instead. I'd even go out on a limb and say I like it more than walmart and giant for groceries also.

I used to love this location. However, the employees lately are mcredibly unwelcoming. One in particular, Joanne is incredibly rude. She got upset that we had two full carts before knocking food off the belt and had the nerve to tell me not to put it Close to the edge instead of apologizing like a good customer service representative would do. Those were the only words she muttered the entire time. I will be going out of my way for another store from now on and will be taking my weekly $400 grocery trip elsewhere.

Everyone is very friendly and the general manager is super helpful. I love their curbside pickup as well. They package everything with care and make it seamless. Best store in town!

They were out of pork tenderloin but I was able to find a pork loin wrapped in bacon as a substitute. The selection here is somewhat limited so be prepared for that, although the prices are reasonable compared to other grocery stores in Warrenton.

Full disclosure I only come here for beer on the way home from soccer games. That being said, not a bad selection. Much better than Walmart.

You guys really need to train your employees, if you think I’m gonna steal because I’m using the self check out then don’t have a SELF CHECK OUT and hire MORE EMPLOYEES! it’s not nice when I have an old lady super close to me and breathing on my neck when I’m trying to check out, you should better train them cause NOT even ONE says good morning or acknowledge me every single time I come in, but they’re quick to assume I’m gonna steal!

Very clean and organized though a slightly smaller sized store. Our local Food Lion closed so will stop by this one commuting from work. Has a few items not seen in other stores like colossal Nathan's hot dogs (not the bun length ones - even bigger!).

This place is pretty clean. The fruit and veggies r just as fresh too! I purchased lemons, ginger root and limes, I used them in cooking and they even taste fresh! The produce section had some out of stock items when I was there but most of it was filled in. I regularly visit this location and will continue to do so!

This place has a good selection of everything, a lot of in house discounts.. but there are better grocery stores but win by being close to home.

Less busy than Walmart or Target, good costumer service, clean a majority of the time did have an issue of moldy food a few months back but the manager took care of it immediately, wide range of options at good prices. Could use some reservation since it's been the exact same for about 7 years now. Would highly recommend for fresh fruit and vegetables. Seafood department is okay, not the best quality.

Great store! I drive 45 minutes each way to shop here. The trip is well worth it! Excellent quality that is competitively priced, very helpful, friendly staff, and a clean, well-stocked store--it's an excellent grocery shopping experience every time.

This Food Lion is small and spotless. The produce, meats, bakery...everything that should be fresh always is. They have excellent prices. Unless I am shopping for something exotic, I always aim for this immaculately managed Food Lion.The only reason I'm not flagging as 5 star is that they are small and cannot carry everything you find in the football stadium stores. But I highly recommend this store for every day needs, from rotisserie chicken to a local beer.I am adding to my review.... Last month I wnt to a high end grocer and they had no fennel. .... Guess who did? Yep, my wonderful local Food Lion. This really is my favorite store.

It was good. They usually have what I need when I go on there. The only problem I have is the produce. I get tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers, and my peppers are starting to mold, turn brown or what ever with in two days. I don't understand why and why they have to be so rude about in the office when I bring it back. Makes me feel like not coming back.

I always shopped this location in Warrenton since both my son and I been here. I was always greated with kindness except today Sunday March 21st, 2021. The employees were very rude and nasty. Boy what attitudes. Taking my business somewhere else like Walmart, Safeway or Giant. I do not deal with attitudes from other people and I refuse to deal with other people and their attitude.

A good solid grocery, that gives back locally. They contributed $1000 in gift cards to my nonprofits Empowerment Project. I also have found they are the most inexpensive in fill the Succor food boxes. Right at $50 ;-)

Had not shopped here in quite some time so decided to bop in for a light shopping trip. Hmmm...utter chaos. Something definitely going on as the store was in disarray with some shelves empty. Employees were everywhere trying to set up shelving and stock inventory. Couldn't get through aisles or find half of my shopping needs. Store wasn't remodeled maybe just a deep Covid clean?? I dont think they should be open until the store is ready to handle customers. I aborted with just a few items in my cart. Probably won't return any time soon.

Updated review. I'm adding a star after shopping here a bit more. It's a small store that won't be my main grocery, but I've come to appreciate the nice produce, good prices on basics, and pleasant staff.

I used to live closer to the Food Lion in Bealeton. Hated that store...Horrid!So, when I moved to Warrenton I was always avoiding this Food Lion as I expected it to be terrible. However, after 2 years, I visited for one reason only - I found out they are the only store in Warrenton that carries my fav beer. BUT - what I really discovered was that this is the BEST store in Warrenton. The staff is magnificent and quick. Food is fresh and good. The staff is a FULL LEVEL above Safeway, Harris Teeter, and Giant.Highly Recommend!

Food Lion is the least expensive of the Warrenton supermarkets. Helpful, friendly staff, and small enough that when you realize you forgot to pick something up on the other end of the store, it's not painful.
