The employees I interacted with were incredibly rude. I have a family member who is really sick and had been waiting for his prescription all day. I walked at 6:59, as it was turning 7:00, they had already closed everything early, and clearly just wanted to go home. I talked to multiple employees to try and get the prescription, but instead of nicely turning me down at the least, they all tried their hardest to avoid me, and talked to me very rudely. I never got the prescription, and I will not be going back to that CVS.

Where to begin with the perils this pharmacy has caused me? Let’s start with them nearly sending me to the hospital because the pharmacist TRIPLED the dosage of my medication. The script was for 4g daily, but the pharmacist changed the instructions so I was taking nearly 10g daily. After 2 days of my heart beating out of my chest, I called the doctor who explained that CVS had me overdosing. So that’s nice. Then for a separate prescription that I needed to have transferred from another location - this location was insistent I needed an entirely new script and that they couldn’t fill it. Nope, not the case. Our original CVS pharmacist had to literally call this location and talk them through how to do a 30 vs a 90 day supply, because they had no idea how to do it. I have ZERO trust in this pharmacy. They have only caused me more stress and their carelessness could have sent me into liver failure. Pharmacist should have their license revoked.

While talking to the person checking us out at the pharmacy, we get told there is no profile for you in our system. Simultaneously, I get a text saying my script is ready for pickup. She asks the pharmacist, who hands her our meds, BUT they wouldn't let me have them. After another 15 minutes of multiple staff trying to help us, we get told, "This computer said you live on X Street, but the other one says X Road. So we couldn't check you out. " The staff were helpful, but CVS systems are broken at multiple layers.

Doctor prescribes medication. Medication ordered. Immediately delayed. Store is out of stock. Call the store as requested, representative says "out of stock, ordered, delayed to Monday." Come monday, doctor's office calls. No in stock, unable to order.Just a point blank lie from this pharmacy. Why would I trust a pharmacy that just point blank lies? I wouldn't.

A BIG Thank you to Cameron & Katherine in the pharmacy at CVS Blackwell Rd who went above & beyond for my daughter & me on 1/27/2024. We waited almost an hour for urgent care to send her RX to CVS, all while my daughter was in the car extremely sick with 103 fever from strep throat, Katherine explained situation to Cameron who called Piedmont urgent care & was able to finally get RX sent & filled quickly!! Thank you both again!

The pharmacist here is SO rude. Heaven forbid you call to try and fix an issue with your medication, that THEY cause, by the way. She will cut you off, yell at you, talk to other people while she’s on the phone with you and make the experience so stressful. Every single month there is an issue with my daughter’s medication and it’s constantly on their end. No wonder CVS has so many lawsuits against them. Do any of your employees have an education level higher than a 1st grader? It doesn’t seem like it. Sometimes I debate going into debt to pay for my daughter’s medication so I don’t have to use this joke of a pharmacy.

My Urine showed abnormal cells on the 23rd. It is now the 28th and the doctor has called in medicine that I told her I cannot take for UTI that I knew I had last week. Doctor does not care a thing about me.

Awful. I blame corporate for making it worse by closing the Frost Ave. store. Now the Blackwell store is often out of medicine, phone calls are immediately dumped, pharmacists who are professionals are treated horribly by management.

Estimated wait times on prescriptions are never accurate. I was given a 5:00 ready time for my sons prescription and it wasn't ready until 6. I go pick up prescriptions right after work, so having to wait around another hour to get home is ridiculous. My husband had a prescription called in at 11am, was given a 2:30 ready time. At 5:15, I was told it would be another 45 minutes. I live 30 minutes from the pharmacy and have to have my kids picked up by 6. I thought for sure this would be more than enough time to give them, again I was wrong. Corporate needs to step in and provide more assistance or have an over haul.

*NEW COMMENT ADDED as of 03/02/24: I never go to this CVS anymore since a few years ago for many reasons, but stopped in after finishing work early on my way home. Still a pathetic store and rude employees! It amazes me that they turn off the coupon center 1 hour before closing. The whole point of shopping at CVS is the savings you get from those. They should just close that location with all the terrible reviews I've read from unhappy customers!*First off I'd like to say that I've been a long time customer of this particular CVS for many years now and part of the top spending clients in that area. Things had been the same for a while then came the time when they weren't taking expired coupons anymore. Then you couldn't use percentage coupons on sale items and now half the time you have to figure out what is considered personal items in order to use certain ones. To top it all off your extra care bucks are split up and not at the full amount. Lastly the hours recently changed and absolutely ABSURD for a convenience store. The whole point is to make it easy for the customers to shop at hours where most stores are closed. I won't be a loyal fan anymore to say the least and is quite RIDICULOUS with all the changes that have happened in a few years!!!

Just moving into town temporarily, I needed a prescription at CVS in Warrenton, VA. The store and pharmacy were refreshingly clean and the pharmacy tech and clerk were very nice and helpful. I got what I needed quickly, to set up a new Airbnb cottage, and will be coming back to shop there again.Wish our CVS pharmacies/stores in south Utah County were this nice and welcoming. Hope we can get a CVS in Spanish Fork, Utah area someday.

Literally the worst pharmacy ever. They’re so slow and rude. I don’t understand. I waited two hours and had to have the manager go back and get my prescription for me. I feel bad for them but they aren’t properly staffed. The female pharmacist or lead tech which brown hair and glasses has the biggest attitude and was super rude to customers when they came in and inquired about their medicine and told a customer to go to walgreens to get their prescription. Lady who was helping at the front desk of pharmacy was super helpful and even remembered my birthday bc i told her so many times. manager was helpful.

Went in for an appointment for vaccines (which I mistakenly assumed was with the clinic and not with the pharmacy) immediately as I walked in to the clinic the floater was asking me questions of what service I needed and started asking about insurance, immediately dismissed me and talked over me saying “I don’t think we take that”. I need to call someone and got on the phone, again very dismissive and condescending. My 12yo even said “does she just not want to give shots?” after unsuccessfully trying to call for an answer, I let her know that if they take tricare then they take our insurance she dismissed me again and was visibly getting flustered and the noticed we weren’t on her schedule (which is when we realized the appt was with the pharmacy and not MinuteClinic). Her demeanor and attitude was the absolute worst!! The ladies at the pharmacy were very informative and nice, can’t say the same for the floater at MinuteClinic!

At this point the service is just terrible. This CVS pharmacy is simply overwhelmed. Automated prescription "ready" information is not correct. The slowest pharmacy ever. Waited over 2 hours for my meds. Kept being told “prescription will be done in 20 minutes.” And then 20 minutes later only to be told the same exact thing. The drive thru lines were absolutely absurd. Will never use this pharmacy again.

First, THIS IS A MANAGEMENT ISSUE. They never have enough cashiers to service customers in a timely manner. Almost always 8+ people in line. If they screw up your insurance, which they are prone to do, you're sent to a different cashier who eventually gets it right and then...sends you to the back of the line!!! I now drive 15 miles out of my way rather than tolerate this ineptitude.

I was waiting in line in the pharmacy, other people were being helped. An employee with blond curly hair and glasses yells out that they are closed and will not be helping us. Meanwhile we are the only people that need helped. I showed her a list of medications that I know for a fact have been called in for my doctor and she rudely says “we don’t even get you those”. I was extremely frustrated and in pain as my procedure had literally JUST happened. I get home. Wait until two when they said they would be available. I waited on hold for ten minutes, finally spoke to Joel the manager who then hung up on me. I immediately called back again and was on hold for 20 minutes before Joel finally came to the phone, never apologized for any of the inconveniences, and said that he was unsure which ones were filled and that he would not be sending them out for delivery. The attitude and the unwillingness to help is INFURIATING. I had literally just come from the procedure and now I’m sitting in pain because I was turned away and scolded by the cvs employees

The pharmacy has gone down hill. Used to be able to get a prescription immediately after a dr called it in, now it takes more than a day (or longer). Went to the drive thru 15 minutes after they opened and no one ever came. A line of cars piled up behind us, pushed call button twice, gave up and left. Why have a drive thru?

The pharmacy is the slowest ever. I don’t think it’s ever taken less than 30 minutes in the drive thru. There is no sense of urgency. Workers take their time, and seem to not care at all. The dmv moves quicker than this pharmacy.

If your pharmacy messes up your prescription, they are held liable. That's wrong Rx, incorrect dosage, etc. Contact DHP and file a compliant. Then, contact an injury lawyer that specializes in medical malpractice.This place messed up with me 3 times already. I'm done.

Had surgery; medication was called in at discharge. We didn't find out until close that meds could not be filled. There needs to be a better system to alert healthcare providers if crucial meds cannot be filled appropriately. No pain meds after surgery is not a good thing.This location has been having issues for months now. I work in healthcare and understand staffing shortages - but at some point the system needs to adapt if it's not working. If you can't fill time sensitive meds, please do a better job of letting the patient or health care team know asap so there's time to make other arrangements, instead of waiting until the last minute and leaving the patient SOL.

The Blackwell Avenue CVS is and has always been perfect for my needs as I am physically challenged. The manager there, Catherine, is just wonderful and she has some terrific associates working with her. I've visited many CVS stores on the east coast and can honestly say that none compare to the exceptional service I've received at the Blackwell Avenue CVS in Warrenton, VA.

I will never set foot in this store again. The pharmacy is a mess, figuratively and literally. Things take forever, there is ALWAYS a long line to wait in, only a handful of employees are helpful and seem to know what’s going on. Everyone working back there seems stressed out and rushed, it’s a recipe for a disaster.A district/regional manager really needs to visit this location.
