I knew this place was going to be good as soon as I seen the food truck out back. 😊 Definitely the best ice cream I've found since I've moved here. I had the Dole Whip swirled with vanilla ice cream in a waffle cone with coconut. My bf had a classic hot fudge sundae. Definately check this place out if you get a chance. They also have deep fried Twinkies and funnel cakes, going to try their mozzarella sticks when I return!

Nice place to grab a snack. Friendly people, funnel cake, and a sundae on a pretty day. Nice atmosphere it's like being a kings dominonand just relaxing while you eat your treat.

Best ice cream in Warrenton VA. I come here when I can to get a frozen treat. I got the Waterloo which is half shake half sundae. I love the blueberry one. I also like raspberry. They have many flavors and ice cream, sundae and float treats as well as dinner cakes, etc. Good stuff!

Okay, this place CAN get a little congested at times, I'll admit. BUT, even so, I still give it all of my stars.They have great food, amazing ice cream, and awesome decorative sense. They have a wonderful brick walkway all around the place that is surrounded with flowers and trees of all kinds (especially the white fringetree on the left side).They have a few exotic flavors for the shakes, (one of which I'm very fond of. Ever heard of Irish Creme?) and I do appreciate the tiny umbrellas they stick in the drinks. Really makes me feel welcome there.Oh! And the birds! The birds are always flying by and hopping on the tables! I think it's brightened up my experience every time I go there!If that's not enough, they allow you to combine a shake and a sundae to create a magical treat called:The Waterloo.What a revolutionary concept! Always my go-to.

Slowly checking out the ice cream spots in the area and Carousel had some recommendations. We got there at a good time because a huge line formed after. I had the small Peanut Butter Cup Deluxe. Vanilla ice cream, Reese's cup bits, peanut butter sauce, and hot fudge. I probably would have asked for chocolate ice cream. The sauces kind of end up at the bottom, but it was a nice sundae. Seating can be limited because the tables are a bit large for 1-2 people. I'm also quite curious to try their hot food.

Easily the best ice cream I have ever had and probably will ever have. If you are an ice cream lover- this place is for you! There are soooo many different flavors and flavor varieties. There are also sundaes, shakes, shaved ice, and the iconic waterloo (half sundae half shake). You get a lot of bang for your buck here too! Furthermore, it’s a super cute retro setting which makes it perfect for every ice cream outing.

If you’re looking for old fashioned floats or shakes,Hawaiian style shave ice, funnel cake or just great soft serve this is the place! Only open during the warmer months, Carousel offers every treat your sweet tooth is craving plus hot dogs and hamburgers if you’d like to make a meal of the outing. You can get pretty much any flavor you can think of for your shake, shave ice or swirled into your soft serve. The soft serve is deliciously creamy with none of the grit or icy texture that so many ice cream stands suffer from. I decided to go with a brownie delight - soft chewy pieces of brownie with vanilla soft serve doused in hot fudge - worth every calorie! Highly recommend stopping by if you are near Warrenton, or even if you aren’t!

i ordered a funnel cake and got a weiner cake instead. waited like 30-40 minutes and apparently the “funnel cake mixer is not working” i’ve been going to carousel since i was a child, please don’t let the staff ruin their reputation with this kind of service. i saw many people get frustrated with the waiting time as well.

If your ever in the area its really good we was visiting and should have purchased two french fries and more things on the menu . My daughter ordered the hir fudge sundae the ice cream was so guuuud. The rainbow ice was ver good as well . I will go back ❤❤❤

Top of my list for ice cream . So creamy and so much tasty syrup. Loved the outdoor seating. Others said their food is just as good. Crowded but fast sevice.

Only five stars because Google doesn't allow six. Thai place is awesome. So far I have tried, hot dodge sundae, Hawaiian ice, and Dole twist. All equally delicious. Plenty of parking and the service is quick. There are some picnic tables with umbrellas. The bright awning is easy to spot from the street. Don't pass it. Stop and try the ice cream.

We went for lunch today and the staff working was above and beyond sweet and helpful to us! We had a larger group and they were patient with us and treated us so kindly. They spoke so nicely to our children and showed that they truly care about their customers. Great job Carousel! We love it here!!! Thank you!

This adorable ice cream place sticks out but for all the right reasons! Perfect for kids of all ages. They have an extensive menu so you’ll be sure to find something to satisfy your craving. This is one of the only places I’ve seen so far that serves dole whip!

I work right across the street..have gone several times every season and all is usually good. Have been twice this year and had nothing but problems. Both times my order seemed to get lost until all other orders are out..all I wanted was a hot dog with ketchup and mayo and a orange dreamsicle shake,with chocolate syrup in it...when I finally got it,it was a plain hot dog with no toppings at all and no chocolate in the shake..why does it take so long to do so little?

The soft serve is seriously so creamy! They have non-dairy options and food if you're not in the mood for ice cream but we go for the ice cream. Kids love their fountain/pond water feature. Outside seating only and if there's a line it moves fast.

Great ice cream. They have cones, sundaes, floats, snow cones, and other fun stuff. Definitely a place to bring the family.It is outside and they close during the winter. On busy days they can often run out of outside seating. It would be great if they had reserved handicap seating as my elderly parents enjoy visiting and have trouble standing.

Ice cream was only okay. Really disappointed with the service. Couldn't serve an ice cream cone properly when other shops in the area don't have the same restriction. Insisted they had to serve the cone in a cup. Was thoroughly explained, but couldn't explain why, when other establishments can. Kinda hard to explain that to a disappointed six year old.

I love this place Don't get me wrong but the latest with the Covid is a little strange.They said they needed to put my cone in a cup for sanitary reasons but then proceeded to hand us our cups and straws with their bare hands.Something's not quite right with this thinking...

Dole Whip Icecream was great. Other than rain started again right after we sat down at the tables, my sisters and I had a good time.Also,Since most tables were full, I asked a young man with 2 little girls is we could join them. He kindly agreed, saying they were about to leave. However, we all talked, the little girls were so friendly and excited to say mom& Daddy were on vacation by themselves and they were getting to stay with these special relatives.They all were so nice.
