This is the best inn in Virginia in my opinion. I have stayed here a few times now and I love staying here. The rooms are always really comfortable, no matter which one you choose. I have stayed in different rooms every time and I like how the king rooms have the heated floors in the bathrooms, but I also like the budget queen rooms for the simplicity. The free breakfast you get is phenomenal and filling. Also, everyone working here is very friendly and super knowledgeable about the area.

Wow, wow, wow. The springs are their own miraculous reason to come. But the guys from czech who refurbished this space are true geniuses of hospitality. The happy hour? The fresh, house made pastries? Impeccable. The ambiance, the location, the vibes, 10/10. The rooms are slightly noisy for a light sleeper, the only drawback. Worth every penny.Noteworthy details: The jefferson pools across the street are a historic and natural landmark—a birthright to all who call appalachia home. Truly healing, mystical, reverent, unbelievably beautiful.

If you're planning on visiting Jefferson Pools, location can't be beat. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are beautiful and include a decent size mini fridge, and a full size Keurig. The restaurant on site is delicious as well. They make all of their desserts from scratch and my husband was floored by how good their tiramisu was. We went in the winter, but if you go during a popular time parking could get tricky (they were in the process of renovations when we went there, so it seems more parking will be available when those have wrapped up). I won't take a star off for it or anything, but just a heads up to other travelers: I personally have some back/joint issues and I found the beds to be a bit too soft. The next time we visit I may call ahead and talk to the staff to see if any of the rooms have more firm mattresses (my husband on the other had slept like a log).Food & drinks: There's a small coffee shop where guests can get breakfast for free until 10 a.m. The food includes fruit cups, cookies, a few types of breakfast sandwiches, quiche, and other assorted pastries. You can also eat in the full service restaurant for breakfast at a discount.

Our stay this last weekend was exceptional at every level. The staff were outstanding, completely professional (and gracious about the needs of our ever-changing dinner reservation number!) I was honestly blown away by the quality and value of absolutely everything, from the food, to the free breakfast offerings, to the rooms themselves. We were traveling with our dog, so I had expectations in keeping with my other experiences of "pet friendly" rooms being a little beat up or smelly - NOT the case here at all. The center cottage rooms were big, beautiful, and comfortable. There was so much space to wander around and enjoy - we made a lot of use of the firepit and grounds, and crossed the road to access the Jefferson baths.I've got to stop and talk about the food again. Really, I've seen other reviews calling the tavern expensive at 20-30 dollars a plate: it was worth absolutely every penny and really, if you've traveled anywhere else, an absolute steal in terms of price for quality. The portions were hugely generous, the steak was cooked perfectly, and the wine was fantastic and well-priced. We were eating with other friends staying at the Inn, so we got to try a lot of different things and there wasn't one item that came out that wasn't absolutely perfect. They advertise "free breakfast" and I was expecting typical continental hotel breakfast offers - no, it was out of this world. Even the drip coffee was remarkably good.I've visited the nearby Omni and spent hundreds of dollars more for a much less premium experience. This place is truly a gem!

We loved everything about our recent stay at the Inn at Warm Springs. We made a group trip to visit the Jefferson Pools (directly across the street), also visited Troddendale Cidery (a MUST visit), and several of us opted the stay the night and eat at the Inn. We were a large, somewhat rowdy group and the staff were all so kind and accommodating with a few changes we requested. The rooms are beautiful, unique, and very comfortable; the grounds and views are truly special. The included breakfast was absolutely delicious and way above and beyond any regular hotel breakfast. We loved being able to bring our dog, too! We will absolutely be back.Rooms: Really comfy kind beds, antique and unique furniture, showers were HOT with great pressure. Updated but still with touches of antique luxury.Nearby activities: Jefferson Pools, Troddendale CiderySafety: Felt very safe the whole time we stayed. One key per room, and just regular door handle locks and deadbolts, but never felt like any more security was needed.Food & drinks: The Tavern menu is a little more expensive than you might expect but really delicious. The coffee and included breakfast at the Coffee Shop was fab (homemade muffins, parfaits, cookies, two kinds of quiche, delicious coffee).

A few hiccups but overall a lovely place to stay. Our stay at The Warm Springs Inn was both unique and memorable. The Inn is located directly across the road from the historic Jefferson Pools. We stayed in one of the private quarters with en-suite bathroom within the Inn. The decor was somewhat new and tastefully decorated and inviting! We just loved relaxing in the little sitting area outside of our suite! However, on our next visit, we'd like to try the jail house room(s).There are lots of seating indoors and outdoors...oh, a nice firepit is on the grounds to cozy on up to in the evenings.Breakfast was very good, lots of fresh homemade choices to choose from. The young ladies in the coffe shop were very nice....an Inn breakfast menu is also available at a additional cost. You will definitely receive Exceptional Hospitality from each and every employee that works there...they do their very best to give you an awesome experience that you will always remember!!So, if you are looking for a quaint and quiet place to spend time in the mountains, The Inn at Warmsprings is definitely the place!

We have been here multiple times, the sevice is great, everyone is very accommodating. The rooms are well upgraded and clean. The food is delicious. I think the menu changes with the seasons, and it is pricey, but it is worth it depending on what you get. Shout out Kristi, Micheal, and Nguyen Wei (I think that is her name). They were very sweet and patient, made our stay enjoyable. Great place to get away, relax and enjoy the Warm Springs bathhouses. Highly recommend.

Love, love this wonderful Inn - have stayed a few times and will be back soon. Most recent stay was a little disappointing as we did not realize the kitchen / dining would be closed. *Note, restaurant closed (Monday's and Tuesday's). We should have checked but it would have been nice for the reception to remind us since we spoke about the wonderful meals when booking.Restaurant is really, good (top chef) which is the reason we back tracked to spend the night --- anyway, went into Hot Springs about 5 miles away for dinner at the Sam Snead Tavern which was excellent so not all in vain. Stayed in the Jail house this time, very comfortable and well appointed. Coffee and morning Quiche was excellent - Well done to all, compliments!!

We loved our stay at Inn in Warm Springs. Bath County is one of the most beautiful areas in Virginia. Have stayed in the area, Homestead etc. But by far enjoyed our relaxing weekend here most. Friendly staff, comfortable clean & quiet room overlooking the meadow with modern updates while keeping the historic charm. The grounds were well maintained.Enjoyable Dinner experience, we loved the food. Also incredible happy hour and breakfast food and drinks included was a great bonus. Unforgettable experience, will be back again!

Great room - very cozy and pet friendly. Service was excellent - they even brought ice to our room. Breakfast was very good (mostly baked goods), would have preferred some yogurt and fresh fruit, but frittata was flavorful. We ordered food from the Tavern, it was excellent (steak frittes and salad) and prepared quickly. Bartender was friendly and quick to take my drink and food order.Would definitely stay there again if ever in the area.

Our first weekend in The INN at Warm Springs. Our room was so pretty and clean. Every morning we went to coffee shop with our friends for coffee and we bought almost all fresh baked pastries there. Really delicious. We try also dinner in Tavern INN, server was very helpful with menu. I tried Chicken Schnitzel with home made French fries and it was excellent. I really recommend for everybody to try it.We spoke also with owner and he told us whole history about that hotel and told us about a lot of great place around. One of them was Oakley farm with awesome ciders.5 stars for it and we will be back soon!!!!

We had a great experience here! The room was clean and charming. Make sure you make reservations for dinner because their food is mouthwateringly delicious. Also, they had the best complementary breakfast I’ve ever had! Make sure you get to it early though because they ran out of some of the good stuff by the time 9:30 rolled around. If I ever find myself back in this area I’d be happy to return.

I was booked into this hotel by my company for a business trip. I had actually booked another hotel being my family was joining. So we were actually double-booked but I enjoyed my room at the Inn just as much. Both have a restaurant and The Inn at Warm Springs was excellent! I have tried both and I believe they were more Innovative fresh and unique. It is very convenient to anywhere you want to go be at Hot Springs, Warm Springs, or day trips in the area. We stopped into the coffee shop the morning we left and found delicious pastry choices and a super friendly staff. This is where you want to pick up little gifts for folks at home or yourself! Adorable. We will definitely be backThe room was cozy clean and most important warm! E-Z Parking right outside the doorRooms: Cozy and clean.Nearby activities: The jefferson pools are walkable as is the village of warm springs.Safety: The whole area is safe and quietFood & drinks: The main dining selecrions, decor and service were wonderful. Owners put a lot of thought and detail into the design. From rooms to restaurant to the grounds.Noteworthy details: Loads of historical and architectural details

Three stars at most for this venue. Was at the Inn on 25-27 Aug 23. Service is an afterthought here. You get lucky if you catch someone to help you and it seems like helping you is not their priority. Checked in on Friday night. Had to wait in the lobby for someone to actually greet us, and it never really happened. Bartender was using computer, did not acknowledge us and walked away when she was done. No hello or welcome. Finally, someone wandered by and checked us in. Rooms for nearly $250.00 per night are small, un-appointed, and certainly lack what you would expect for a room at this price (no service bar, 2 half pint waters in a small dorm fridge). Carriage House, where our room was, is termite and bug infested. Bugs under the door and main door to Carriage House under full control of a termite swarm. Not fun to have to fight your way through. Room was clean except for a dirty washcloth missed from a previous guest left over the shower curtain bar. Tavern restaurant has good food, but managed to overcharge me for an item that I did not catch until I got my digital receipt 2 days later. The continental breakfast is free in the coffee shop, but the food is marginal at best. We noted most plates around us, including ours were not eaten. Quiches were too salty, pastries and breakfast sandwiches too dry (they seem to carryover from one day to the next). The Bar is an afterthought at this venue. Bartender was not at the bar more than she was. Had to go find her to actually get a second drink. Bar full of people with no one around to tend to us. While they do have a bar, it does not open until 5pm, FIRM. Eight of us, in two separate parties, tried to get a drink at 4:20pm and were summarily told we could not and had to wait 40 minutes until 5pm. What type of business gives up nearly $100 worth of drinks for 40 minutes?? It seems like this Inn believes they have the business wrapped up in this part of the valley and can get by simply by doing the minimum. Maybe if you were a low budget hotel that might be understood, but again for nearly $500 for two nights, it is not any where near an acceptable level of service.

I’m going to start by saying I wish I could give it 0 stars. The pictures on the website show beautifully remodeled clean rooms. It truly APPEARS that the owners have poured themselves into building this establishment into everything it can possibly be. However upon arrival it was much different. The last time the place was maintained was for the photo shoot. Also when arriving we had to call to check in because nobody was there and she was extremely rude. The room looked nothing like the photos and the bathroom door wouldn’t even close. We hoped to enjoy our two night stay. Instead we left after four hours of hell. We were so ready to leave, we didn’t even attempt to get a refund. I’ve stayed in some rough hotels in my life with no worries but this was by far the single worst experience I have ever had. Also the area around the inn is horrible. Definitely wouldn’t feel safe to leave the room. Absolutely in the middle of nowhere with nothing to even eat after 4pm.

This was a very nice inn. It's no big expensive hotel. It is half the cost of the big hotel down the road, but the rooms were very nice, clean, and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly, but we were probably there off season and they didn't have but a few people. The bath houses are right accross the road, and it was nice to just be able to walk over. They offer free cont. breakdast, but if you choose to dine at the restaurant, your breakdast is 1/2 off. The food here was much better than we had expected. We did both breakfasts in the restaurant, as well as 1 dinner. Dinner was a bit more on cost, but I felt it reasonable. To sum things up, we enjoyed our time there and would gladly stay there again.Rooms: There are a few different buildi gs on the site, each split into different rooms to rent.Nearby activities: The Warm Springs Bath Houses are right across the street.Food & drinks: Restaurant and bar on site, as well as a place for coffee.

This was our first visit and we’ll absolutely be back! It’s main building and tavern offer quaint decor and it’s just amazing. Great little spot that makes you feel welcomed and right at home. The bar and tavern were fantastic with really yummy options! Cannot say enough about the staff! They responded lightening quick to a situation (nothing to do w/ the Inn, but guests) we experienced, moved us to another room without a blink and made our stay even better. All of them were personable, fun, funny, responsive and professional. So enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to go back!!

I have stayed for the weekend and we shared a room with my small kids. It has plenty space, everything was clean and the staff was so friendly asking me after the first night if we need extra towels for kids or to straighten theroom. This whole place was so welcoming. Lots of outdoor seating, both cafe and restaurant was just delicious. We plan on making this to be our annual tradition. And they even made a bonfire in the evening and and had smores kits! Lovely getaway atmosphere.

It was a pleasure to stay in this beautiful 1840s old courthouse turned into a comfortable and interesting B&B. The room in the main building on the second floor was newly renovated, clean and well equipped. The food at the restaurant on the main floor was gourmet and delicious. The filet mignon was perfectly prepared and served by friendly wait staff. Would highly recommend this spot for a special get away.

I came to use the newly restored Warm Springs pools which are directly across from the Inn. I didn’t want to stay at the Omni and thought of seeing what else was available. I would recommend Warm Springs Inn if you are ok with a quaint setup put together with separate buildings on site. They’ve done a pretty good job of putting in upgrades like nice spacious bathrooms with heated floors. The bed I got in “The Jail” was very comfortable. You get some of the usual noise of people coming in sometimes late but the area is pretty dead silent otherwise. The views are gorgeous outside. I had dinner at the Tavern and let’s just say that I’m a foodie having spent 30 years in San Francisco and spent a fortune eating in some awesome restaurants, and whomever is the chef here knows their stuff. The calamari was the best I’ve eaten. The only thing I wish I could improve on was the steps to the building. I’m not as young anymore and they seemed steep. There are good handrails, but the Inn lays on an angle with an up hill slope in general I wouldn’t recommend for very disabled persons. The door key was a bit funky they don’t have a modern key card setup. I couldn’t really operate the TV remotes and gave up but they have a good WiFi so bring an iPad. This could be a very romantic get away for a young couple. Breakfast was fine, and they have a very good coffee shop for the mornings. They don’t have a large support staff but I was able to find people and felt they were helpful and nice.

I highly recommend the Inn at Warm Sorings, This was our second stay at the Inn, the first one was six years ago, my wife and I couldn't believe the transformation under the new management. We were pleasantly surprised when we open the door to our room everything is new and smell fresh in and around the Inn. Service and breakfast was impeccable plus you can't beat the locattion directly accross the street from the Jefferson hot pools

The total experience was perfect! We stayed in one of the dogfriendly rooms and will definitely be coming back! We ate our meals at the Tavern on-site. The Tavern, the staff, the decor is all so well done and the meals were excellent ! The coffee shop with baked treats & gift shop is an added bonus. The grounds is ideal for walking our dog and he even slept good! We stayed in one of the 2 dogfriendly rooms in the Jailhouse and will request it again. We're looking forward to coming back in warmer weather to enjoy the outdoor spaces even more. And having a Keurig coffee maker with real mugs was especially nice!Rooms: Very comfortable and inviting! Nice linens. Bonus: Keurig coffee maker and real mugs!Nearby activities: We went into Hot Springs and visited locally-owned businesses.Safety: Well lit and good parking.Walkability: All the buildings are convenient to each other.Food & drinks: Extremely good.

Quaint stay in a charming small town. We found it a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. We were able to see a number of the rooms and they are all unique and special in their own way. We had a room right on the front porch facing the outside dining area so it wasn’t possible to open the drapes without feeling exposed. Maybe a privacy film would help so you could let in light without being on display. Also, the bathroom mirror was a bit too high for us (we are of average height) and a bathroom vanity would be cool to set toiletries on. Otherwise perfect. A lot to do in the surrounding area especially if you enjoy the outdoors.

I do not recommend this location especially if you’re traveling with your family. Three of us stayed at this Inn Friday and Saturday on a recent trip to VA. Friday night was exceptional and we had a great experience, great food, and the staff was excellent. Saturday we returned after the weather caused our plans to change. We once again had great dinner and experience with the staff however, that evening a group of locals arrived late to the bar and we witnessed excessive over-serving to the point of individuals laying on the bar floor. In the early morning we were all awakened to severely drunk people opening and trying to kick in our doors (block of 3 rooms). My friend was awoken with the door opened and the only thing preventing them from entry was the chain lock. The police were called and the had to literally carry the individuals to their rooms. There was broken glass and bottles everywhere. When I spoke to the owner, he took no accountability to the situation. The owner took the position that the guests were over-served elsewhere and that he didn’t want to make the situation worse but turning them away at his bar. The situation we experienced at this Inn needs to be understood as it could have happened to anyone. We had just discussed bringing our wives and kids to this place as it was really nice but we will not be visiting this location again. Be very cautious staying at this Inn!
