This is a very interesting store. Tons and tons of items related to birds (feeders, fountains, decor) but there are also other outdoor items and such inside.It's a great store to browse if you are in the area and in need of some inspiration.A while ago they had a large Vera Bradley bag selection for sale too - not sure if that's still featured inside.It's in the Hilltop shops so close to tons of other shopping and dining with plenty of parking for ease of use.

Our family loves wildlife and chooses to feed and attract birds. For years we've bought seed and other items from assorted stores and found the quality poor and a lot of waste because the birds would not eat the products. I was told about the Wild Bird Store and we went in and made purchases. We found that the seeds and suet product they sell are attracting more variety of birds. The products do not go to waste either because the birds readily eat everything we've purchased there.Another advantage to quality Bird food, the staff is knowledgeable and available to answers questions I have about food, what type of birds are migrating and which bird food items attract which bird. We enjoy sitting and watch the birds. Such a relaxing hobby.

Everyone is super helpful and knowledgeable. Interesting mix of items to shop. They had great gift ideas for bird lovers. And sometimes, you will get the opportunity to meet the resident fluffy cat.

Wonderful store that I've visited for more than 9 years. Bought a Tilley hat in 1992 for $75 with lifetime guarantee and returned the fatigued hat for a new one for the cost of postage ($15) to Upstate NY. Wild Birds Unltd was no help with the mail-in exchange, but they sell a reputable product!

My experience was not good, after spending over $350+ on birdfeeder and poles, they recommended what bird feed to put in the feeder. When few birds came I went back to the store. The lady said well the problem is the bird feed had two big of peanuts and they are getting stuck, you need a different bird feed. I said can I bring the birdfeed back and exchanged it. The answer was no it has been opened. I said well your store recommended it and maybe 5% of it is gone. The answer was no. I went to this store because I like to support local stores. I can buy everything I got there online for cheaper but wanted to support the local store. Just very displeased with their not being willing to make a happy customer.

Only recently started going here, but already love it! The Staff was friendly and helpful. The pole system is also amazing. And of course, adorable shop cat to complete everything!

I usually go to Chesapeake location but sometimes I come to this one just to pet their ragdoll cat. It’s quite a challenge to get out of this place and parking lot always full but I love WBU and don’t mind the challenge. It’s best to call ahead to make sure live mealworms in stock - I usually call. Very nice and knowledgeable people work here!
