I couldn’t believe they had the pet shop I hadn’t seen one of those in ages. It was just the way I remembered it. All the little puppies were in the windows, and they had a little playpen areas for you to get to know the puppies. When I was there there was three dogs in the little rooms. The staff was very nice I was able to ask one of them Questions they don’t seem like they’re in a hurry they are very attentive and very nice and pleasant to converse with. aside from the pets, they had food, toys, pet beds and countless other accessories to suit your favorite Pooch! I would go and check it out if I were you it was a blast.

Great store! I enjoyed the puppies, I have never seen a store like this. Currently waiting on my application to see if I’m approved for my frenchie. Real friendly staff! I went there twice and they were nice enough to guide me through and were very friendly when it came to asking questions. Great store! If you’re visiting Virginia Beach and want to see all sorts of puppies, I suggest you go visit ! Reasonable prices! THEY HAVE THE ANSWER TO ALL YOUR QUESTIONS.

The staff made the process really nice when I was buying my first puppy, even when I brought up the stores bad reviews they didn’t get defensive and assured me that the dogs were took care of. It’s now been months since i got my Shiba and he is healthy and great!

So, in general, my review of Pet-Go-Round is fine. We have a great Persian boy who is in good health. The associate who helped us was friendly. Financing process was quick and easy. We received everything we needed to make our boy at home without having to buy much else. All of the animals looked healthy, engaged, and happy.My cat was very much an impulse purchase and I did not do my research prior. My concern is that when I googled the name of the breeder on my paperwork, there were several mentions of her/ the business being a puppy mill. The store is transparent about names, businesses etc of breeders. A quick Google search can help you make an informed decision.

Staff seem incredibly sweet. However, before even walking into the store you could smell the incredibly overwhelming scent of cleaning chemicals. It was rather shocking. Just how bad it was. After being inside for about 3 or 4 minutes. You got used to it but wow. Overall the store is clean and well lit. It is troubling that none of the pet windows have any prices on them and that everything is pushing how you can finance a pet... That really makes you wonder about the practices. Good or bad pet stores exist still but I've not seen one where you have to ask about the price... Felt a little shady

Please don’t go here!!! I walked in and immediately was horrified by the way these poor puppies live. The glass cages they are in are maybe suitable for Guinea pig but never a dog. If you are looking for a specific breed do your research and find a reputable breeder..these people are sick and any animal you buy from here will most likely get sick. Buying from them only keeps the cycle going. You don’t deserve an animal if you are okay with puppy mills and the inhumane treatment they give these animals.

Do not shop here! This is literally a puppy mill affiliate. I was horrified to see puppies in glass cages like hamsters at petsmart, with nothing but shredded paper as a bedding. These “hard to find” breeds are just puppy mill creations, do not contribute to the cycle or animal abuse by giving them your money!!! It was heartbreaking to see. When I asked a worker if the puppies get to go outside at all, I was told that they get to leave their cages when families play with them. I wonder how often those puppies actually see the light of day. Adopt, don’t shop. It’s an absolute shame these stores aren’t illegal.

I love my fur baby! I got a mini dachshund and the staff was wonderful in helping me get her. It was a very simple and easy process, the only downside is the puppy’s are expensive here.But I did luck out and have my puppy come from a good and well known breeder and my puppy is happy and healthy!

Super clean and the animals they had looked well cared for! All the puppies were full of energy and excited to see people milling about! I'm only sad I myself couldn't go home with one of said puppies!

We bought a Boston Terrier from them. She had a bunch of problems that were not disclosed. They will lie and cheat you but they are like a car dealer. Just want to make a sale. Stella almost died but our great vet saved her. This is the worst place in the world. They prey on your emotions and underfeed the dogs. Shameful

I walked in on with my daughters on November 18th around the time range of 2 pm to 3:30 pm and a worker in blue scrubs, seem to be of a Latino descent, wearing a mask standing around with someone who does not seem to be working there or at the time..were attempting to imitate Asian language mocking us.

I went to this store yesterday just to see the puppies and man I want to adopt them all so I can really care for them but that’d be way too much money. Aside from that the kitten I saw in the cage was DEAD. It was a fluffy white kitty. Then I went back today 4/13/23 and it was gone. I hadn’t noticed anything until my hubby pointed it out. The entire cage was empty no toys, ramps, anything. And before I hear or see any responses on this, the cat didn’t not respond to being called, touched or blown on which is something they hate and I’d know because I’ve owned my fair share of cats. I will NEVER come back to this place again and I encourage others to never come back either. They charge over $4,000 for puppies from puppy mills. I can almost guarantee that once the pups hit a year they’re sent to a shelter or a puppy mill. Sure the puppies are cute but it is better to adopt!!!

The fact that this establishment is still operating is beyond my comprehension. My intent was to find a toy for my dog, but when I saw the dogs they kept in a small glass display I knew I would not be spending my money there. My heart broke when I saw those poor puppies! It was clear that they were not happy at all. Puppies are active, they need to be able to freely run around not kept confined in a freaking fish tank. Poor puppies.

Not enough staff. Stood up front ringing the bell for many minutes to buy something, no one came. Worst off is the fact there were multiple dogs practically dying of thirst and the hamster style water bottles are completely empty. You could watch, as they continuously lick and lick at it in an attempt to get moisture that nothing was coming out. They’d jump at it for an hour trying to get a tiny sip to drink and get nothing. Yet the employee here just is leaning on the wall on her cell phone. They deceivingly dress the staff to look like vets however it’s just a uniform, the staff are more like Retail workers than animal care givers.

The animals are way overpriced, and most of the dogs have kennel cough, I had to pay an additional $500 to get my dog back to normal health. Most of the veterinarians I’ve spoke too said this is not a recommended place to buy animals because of all the health issues that go with them, I found out the hard way. I recommend purchasing directly from a breeder than here.

i think it’s funny that the manager will respond to people writing reviews about the poor customer service but not address the fact that their animals are kept in less than humane conditions and that they’re misleading customers by claiming the puppies are from ‘reputable breeders’ — which are instead literally just puppy mills. responding with “we’re a family business” does not garner any more sympathy, it honestly just makes it even worse since, in that case, you DO have the power to be better. how about just sticking to selling pet supplies instead of living animals that clearly are not properly cared for.

DO NOT purchase from here or any other pet supply store. I rescued a puppy from here that had clear signs of pneumonia that they were willing to do nothing about and there’s many more in the same situation there. I spent thousands getting the dog out of the situation as well as on its treatment. DO NOT SUPPORT. You will end up spending time getting the dog good health and lose your sanity over how people can treat animals this way.

I can’t speak to the concern for Puppy Mills (the only reason I’m not giving 4 or 5 stars), but solely in terms of the wellness and demeanor of the dog we looked at and the quality of the staff we worked with, we had a fantastic experience. We were helped by Emma, and she was attentive, detailed, patient, and went above-and-beyond to answer our questions. Not only did she do this, but it was during the peak of a frantic Saturday afternoon. Even if we don’t purchase a dog from them, we’re still grateful for her and the experience she gave us with the dog we enjoyed!

Do not buy a puppy from here. My family and I bought a black female lab for several thousand dollars after my kids fell in love with her. They sold us a dog with pneumonia who wasn’t fully vaccinated and had been sick for over a month. She would require thousands of dollars of treatment just for a chance at getting better. They don’t care about the health of these animals and this is nothing but puppy mill. We are so disappointed and disgusted with their practices.

We are absolutely in love with our dog that was purchased here, but little did we know about their shady business dealings. First of all when I asked one of their employees about their breeders/breeding practices I was verbally attacked by a staff member who was consistently raising her voice and being extremely argumentative when I simply, yet kindly, asked about the legitimacy of their breeders. Aside from their miserable staff, we scheduled our initial vet exam and they’re a Vet confirmed puppy mill sales establishment unfortunately.Had we been aware prior to purchase of the dog that in fact they’re selling puppy mill dogs we certainly would’ve went elsewhere. I knowingly would never give profit to these horrendous breeding practices, but given the circumstances we will love our little son and give him the best life he could ever dream of. 2/10 Will never return to purchase another animal or refer anyone!

Everytime I go there i get a bad feeling, i went there one last time and decided never to go back. We played with one of the puppies and he looked so sad, he was also very aggressive and kept biting me hard. I heard puppys whining the whole time and yelping. In the back they keep the puppies locked in little crates all day. Dogs and cats are always kept in containers too small for "display", it is a horrible environment. All of the people there probably stress them out too, especially the loud little kids that don't know how to treat animals. The dogs are always asleep and I saw one shaking really badly when staff went to pick one up. Staff seems uncaring and didnt know when I asked a question about one of the dogs. Not to mention to ridiculous high prices for these animals, its so sad because they probably don't get homes very often. I'm convinced they get these dogs from puppy mills, keep them locked and are greedy for money. This place needs to be shut down. I wish they would, these places in the mall are so shady, but they won't be shut down because people like seeing cute animals and don't really think about whats happening to them. NEVER buy animals from a pet store, go to an adoption center instead or a reliable breeder that doesn't get animals from mills!
