Very clean, attractive, well stocked store with a friendly staff and tasty pizzas prepared in house. Not all of the Harris Teeter locations make their pizzas but this one does. Two hot soups offered daily, (self service take out) next to their beautiful salad bar. Love the variety of fresh veggies and fruit offered on their salad bar. Awesome seafood Department. Great handmade subs in their deli. Ask fro Ash… he made me the best Philly Cheesesteak Sub ever!

I stopped by just to get some pasta salad from the salad bar, I grabbed some of what it said curried white chicken pasta salad, I sat in the parking lot and ate some of it only to find out there was shrimp in it (I am allergic). Went back in and talked to the manager which called over the guy taking care of the salad bar, he said it was shrimp pasta salad but he didn't change the sign. I had to spend the rest of the day vomiting and with fever and diarrhea. Lucky manager was nice and I only ate a little bit. Hope they do something about the guy's training because he could have killed someone.

Great grocery store. Everyone is very helpful and friendly. Usually, it has what I'm looking for. I love to order the different style pizzas slices and put them in one box.

I went to Harris Teeter today on Nimmo Parkway VA Beach location. I went to the pizza section to ask a question. The man there pulled out his ear buds to hear me. Then after answering my question he put his earbuds back in and continued to make the pizza for other customers without changing his gloves. This is nasty. NO CUSTOMER wants ear wax, skin particles, sweat, hair and other germs on their pizza. Several months ago there was another worker checking his phone on the counter where the pizza dough is spread out. It's like Harris Teeter employees don't care about customers getting sick and apparently the manager doesn't give a damn either because it was brought to his attention months ago. Employees should use the phone and other electronics during their break not while on company time preparing food.

Frustrating experience with picking up items I had purchased online ... the delivery person was not very helpful when I brought up the issue with the items she delivered, and then the customer service rep said they had no visibility into what I had ordered and therefore couldn't help. He said I would need to go to the app and corporate would take care of it... After he actually listened and realized what the issue was, he stated he could help and eventually did. So thank you to the customer service rep who helped in the end ...

I placed an online order at the HT floral department yesterday for delivery today, Aug 14 2021. The flowers were a huge hit with me and my mother. It lifted up my mother's spirits since I wasn't able to travel for her birthday due to the rise in COVID cases. Thank you so much for the wonderful arrangement, Marie! And to the delivery person for carefully delivering it early this morning. I highly recommend the online ordering on Harris Teeter's website; it was very easy and the flowers were beautiful.

This location was well stocked, clean, fully staffed and had a great variety of fresh, handmade, and made to order foods. The variety of fresh foods was impressive compared to other locations and grocery chains. Expect to pay 15-25% more on similar brands and products carried at other grocery chains.

Expired mayonnaise. I came in specifically for mayonnaise since it’s my favorite food and I was just fired and so I saw the mayonnaise was expired and I was very sad why please fix this. now. And so instead I bought cool whip and it wasn’t as good as the mayonnaise would have been so that’s another issue.

Over all this is a nice store and I shop here regularly. Today I came in to purchase flowers for a friend who recently her mother passed. The florist was so rude when I asked about other arrangements being made of if I could order one. The ones in the case were dropping and the roses were brown at the edges. Who wants to pay $60+ for flowers that are brown and dropping. Very disappointed with her lack of empathy.

This review is for ordering fried chicken- I ordered 40 pieces of chicken the day before I needed them. I checked in for pick-up at 12:53pm. They came out 10 minutes later and advised shoppers had taken the pre-ordered chicken and did not have any to give me. I pre-paid over 24 hours in advance. They said they will refund me, but no solution to getting chicken made for the party other than they were sorry they gave the chicken away.I called the Harris Teeter in General Booth. They apologized for the Nimmo location and said they will get it taken care of. 1 hour later, I’m at the General Booth location and they were ready to go with the fresh chicken!All this to say- beware of ordering fried chicken in advance. Better to order day of, and without notice.

After several attempts at having a packaged salad from the deli I’m done wasting $. The lettuce is mostly white ends that have gone brown and the tomatoes are rotten. Also the broccoli cheese soup from the salad bar tasted like rotten broccoli.

Today, I met Ms. Ann from the Harris Teeter team. She is extremely nice and friendly. Everyone at this store is awesome and attentive. As a military family, Harris Teeter provided the best customer service where we don't feel like strangers to a new area. Thankful

Good store. I like it. Clean. Polite and helpful staff. Excellent selections of everything I need from a grocer. Maybe not paper towels or Lysol but you know, supply chain problems and hoarders have made this difficult for every business and the rest of us. And now in 2021 back up in running minus the Lysol spray which is still hard to come by in stores but HT still the best and a Starbucks on site, too.

A beautiful store! Stocked with so many various items, fresh prepared hot and cold foods, gorgeous meat products, and gobs of fresh produce!All the employees here are always so helpful and friendly. I shop here buying the weekly items on sale. Saves a bunch of $$$. And I love getting the $4.99 hot rotisserie chickens on sale. It's always yummy!

Update-poor customer service. Cashier opened a new lane and did not take the next customer in adjacent lane who was waiting for nearly 15 min. Rather took the last in line who just arrived at checkout. And that customer should have deferred to the customer waiting longest. Poor reflection on management and training. As well as inconsiderate customer.Excellent customer service! Very good inventory.

You guys need to hire a new sushi chef!!! Last month, I was there and I asked him if he can make me a salmon and crab poke bowl. He told me, it will take him 20 minutes to make it so I didn't get any. It doesn't take 20 minutes to make a poke bowl. Today, my wife asked the chef if he can make a salmon and crab poke bowl and he told her that he doesn't have any crab. Now, look at the picture I attached on this review. What does it say? There's Crab in that roll right? Replace that chef!!!!!!!!!!

Kind of pricey but convenient so we go back. Tonight though was hoping to pick up some fried or rotisserie chicken however, they had no freah out for purchase. At about 530 pm, they had some that had been out since ~10 am. The lady in deli was very apologetic and offered to drop some but I didn't want to stand there for half an hour. Otherwise, four stars.

You may already be aware that Harris Teeter is a great grocery store. What you may not be aware of is their phenomenal Cheese Pizza! This cheese is unlike any I’ve had. AND I KNOW PIZZA. My family and I are pizza experts, always trying new places and this was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. I think they have specials but we got three large for 30$ and compared to some places, that’s a steal.

I went to 2 Harris Teeters today and both were great for pizza mondays. This location Sabrina helped me in the pizza depatment and Missy helped me when I called to find out her name to make a 5 star review. Thanks guys and fyi Harris teeter any large pizzas are only 7.99 on mondays and flavor of the month everyday for the same price

Produce is not as fresh as it used to be. I understand the pandemic may be part of the reason why but I barely can find what I need and end up going elsewhere. Also, I have purchased expired product from the shelf on more than one occasion. Though they honor returns, it is an inconvenience to have to bring the expired product back and exchange. Most recently, in July 2021, I purchased Harris Teeter brand chocolate covered raisins and ate half the bag before noticing the bag had a May 2021 expiration. I was eating 2 months expired food! I contacted customer service and they said they asked the store to contact me to make it right, but I never heard from the store. I ended up throwing away the bag instead of going through the trouble of remembering to bring it back and have them look on my VIC card for the receipt. Such a waste. I now make sure to look at every expiration date as a precaution which makes my shopping trips longer than I would like.
