This was my first purchase with Fear Not Tarantulas, I originally purchase from Nate at Micro Wilderness, and it was a smooth and pleasant as all the YouTube content creators mention. I even got emailed by Tanya! My previous Ts have grown and I got the itch to for more Ts to add to my collection, so here we are! I plan on stopping by in Virginia in the next few months to pick up some specimens and then take them home (I live in TN). Thank you for your prompt help! I look forward to seeing my babies arrive here shortly.**UPDATE** I finally got my slings and I love how well they packaged everything! If you buy from them, definitely get the complete package, as it has everything you need right off the bat. I honestly don’t know why I waited so long to order from them, but I’ve got a small wishlist started for the future!**ANOTHER UPDATE** I placed another order and received beautiful babies with their enclosures. Always great customer service, and I’m very happy on how much they worked with me as I had to change my shipping dates twice since things at work came up and I wouldn’t be home to receive them and ensure they were good. Had a great time putting them in their new home, had two mini heart attacks with the two p.murinus, and the small OBT is holding on to her shipping vial for the moment. Pick and choose your battles! This company genuinely cares about their animals. I was inquiring about how to own tarantulas, and they made sure I was educated and did research. I came back a month later, and they were so happy I took their knowledge and applied myself. They never pushed for sale and actually cared. My tarantula slings are thriving, and I love this new hobby.

This was our first time visiting Fear Not Tarantulas and we were definitely NOT disappointed! We got 5 new T babies and a set of beetles! The staff was patient, friendly, very knowledgeable, and very welcoming. We can't wait till next year to return again! Shown are a few pics of our babies 😁🕷️

I have yet to go into the actual store for it’s 18 hours away, but I will tell you I do hope we can make that trip. The customer service is always top notch while dealing with them online through emails. I am so excited to meet everyone and have that amazing customer service in person. My last order I had to have it shipped to the “local” FedEx pick up center for the day time temps exceeded the safe ranges. My local FedEx is 50 minutes both ways. I was worried if something were wrong I’d be over the Two hour window to indicate any issues. (All in driving) I was told I would get extended time and to be safe on my travels. I, of course, had absolutely no issues and my spiders were all perfect and are all still doing well! All my Tarantulas come from this place! I have 17 and only 2 are not from fear not. My future ones will definitely be from here, as well! Hands down the best place 💕☺️

Jaw dropped with how beautiful this place is and all the tarantulas! I live up north and so many people always told me to visit and now I’m going to visit every chance I get! Received my order today for 2 GBB plus a curly hair spiderling they gave me as a freebie. Could not have been packaged any better. About an hour after relocating them into their own enclosures all 3 ate a meal worm I cut up for them. They're very active and healthy. Communication regarding shipping was fantastic. Received a quick and professional response each time. Highly recommend you check them out.

I have not been to the physical store but I have ordered from them multiple times. Their communication/customer service is excellent, their selection of spiders is vast and they have a huge selection of freebies based on the price of your order. My spiderlings always arrive very healthy, active and already willing to eat. Their prices are fair too. I will continue to shop with them!

I’ve been ordering from Fear not tarantulas since 2015. I’ve never had any issues. Every spiderling I’ve purchased from them has arrived healthy and thriving. Communication and customer service can’t be beat. The Fear not team is amazing! I suggest anyone in the Virginia Beach area check out the store. It’s a wonderful and educational experience for anyone. The staff is always ready to help and answer any questions.

This is my absolute favorite and only place to get all kinds of arachnid. They are knowledgeable, kind, the shipping prosses is super smooth, and they care about the shipping prosses that your new household, member/ tarantula/ spiderling is in.! AND they have the best prices.! They are clear across the other side of the state, but I would go no where else other than here.!!!! I have 8 newest members from this place total.!!!! Ok I'm not in the market to buy an 8 legged friend but if you are I would recommend this place. Huge I mean huge selection. From what I can tell the owner is a caring individual and knows what he's talking about. He can get you into a pet for under 100 dollars including the home. But he has them upward to 600 dollars.

I was a bit hesitant to order from this store because it doesn't have a lot of reviews. But I took a chance and ordered a $200 female Green Bottle Blue juvenile. I am very happy with my purchase. The spider was packaged with care and looked very healthy upon arrival. It eats well and acts normal as compared to the species it belongs to. I looked at backwater reptiles at first but found the reviews advising me not to buy from there. I am very glad that I made my purchase here. Anyone hunting for a reputable place to purchase tarantulas should give this place a try.

I just picked up two spiderlings and I'm writing this before I drive off because George was absolutely incredible and so very helpful. He talked me through what he was doing with my spiderlings, rehoused them into bigger containers for me, and was in general sociable and respectful. This shop is both neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ friendly, and I cannot recommend them enough.Thanks, George!

I have always received great customer service from Fear Not with my shipping orders and I thought that my experience with them couldn't possibly get any better. I was wrong. After years of wanting to visit I was finally able to and it was everything I could have hoped for. The store is clean and well organized but it's their staff that puts the experience over the top. They are so friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and easy to talk to. It's really no wonder why they're the best in the business.

They were so patient while helping my kid pick out the perfect tarantula that we actually wound up getting 2. This is a great location with lots of parking. Such a pleasant and helpful shop! I was interested in getting a millipede after looking at their website, and I decided to go to this store in person. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was shown to some millipedes and was offered a few full terrarium set ups. When I explained I only needed a single millipede and some supplies, the staff made sure all my needs were met. In addition I was given some educational materials on tarantulas and some helpful tips on the millipede. I will be back when I need supplies or decide its time to get another new pet.

I ordered three slings from this dealer and I LOVE them! All three slings arrived to my local FedEx in great health and are currently happy in their new enclosures. I decided to go with Fear Not after watching many videos from The Tarantula Collective. I love my little C. Versicolor and this is a species I have been wanting for a couple years now. Gotta say, these little slings are absolutely adorable!

Yes but when I acknowledged that you still refunded my shipping cost and left me out to dry. I have a wonderful 75 dollar mini terrarium though so I guess that's a thing. You can respond to rebuff all you want the fact is my sling died and I'm out almost 100 bucks so I am disappointed in the service and care. 1 bad review is worth many many positive ones and if you'd have left this alone I'd have left it without an explanation. For anyone reading this, there are better businesses to order from. I tried them on a whim because they had positive reviews and turned out a loss for myself. I personally would NOT recommend

Shout out to Miss Emma for helping this Arachnophobe buy her first T! Fear Not has a very nice shop with all sorts of displays of different species of Tarantulas. Luckily, I had the entire place to myself, so Emma was very kind enough to show me some of their collection and teach me about some of the T's they had on display. I decided on a Brachypelma hamorii sling, so cute and tiny! Emma rehoused it for me so that I could watch her, and she even attempted to feed it for me (the sling didn't eat, probably in pre-molt)! I absolutely love this place, I will most definitely be giving them my business again!

This was my first time ordering from them online. (I live in Texas)...and the customer service was absolutely amazing. I was emailing BJ on the shipping team and they were amazing! All the emails were clear and responses were quick! When my two spiderlings came in they were both very healthy and packaged flawlessl! I was very happy with my experience with them!
