DogStuff is the only place to buy all your pet needs! Everyone is so helpful and friendly! They sell high end, quality dog food at reasonable prices and have so many treat, grooming, toy, and health options for anything your pet may need. This is my husky’s FAVORITE place to go. We pass it on our walks and he always makes sure we make an appearance.

American made treats and bones. They have quality dog food for a decent price. Great toys for both aggressive chewers and non. Friendly people who love to see Luna come in. They are very knowledgeable and kind people, and I cannot recommend this place enough.

We don’t live particularly close to Dog Stuff, located on Birdneck Road in Va Beach. Many of the brands they carry you will not find in the big box stores. Frequently, I have to work late and cannot get by there for a bag or two of dog food, usually I know this earlier in the day. I just give them a call to let them know that I will be late and they make arrangements for me. Twice they have actually dropped the food off at my house. I do not expect them to do this, it’s a big surprise to come home and have two bags of dog food sitting on your front porch. They are not in the delivery business, but they are into customer service which is what you will receive from them when you go there and become a client of theirs. They are knowledgeable about the food they carry, and do their best to help you find the best possible diet for your dog.

This place Yes !!Staff is absolutely wonderful!!!First of all the staff is amazing , caring, concerned with so much knowledge about dogs /animals and products. Ask them. They know what they are doing !!I'm a new dog owner .I have no clue about fleas ,ticks or corn chip smelling dog feet ..They explained just what I needed to do and recommendfantastic items that worked .Thank you DoggstuffYou Rock !!

I visited this store last week and although there is much potential to be a great store, they missed the mark on some areas.First, the staff was very pleasant and very helpful. One of the staff walked with me and answered many of my questions.Upon entering with my small dog, I was told that dogs were not allowed at this pet store...wait, what??? Okay, no problem, he was not happy, but he waited in the car.The store seemed crowded and cramped. That would not bother me so much, but it was disappointing to see huge bags of kibble and canned food, stacked all over the place. Why would you carry kibble, which people can get at any of the major pet food stores?As I am sure you know (being in the pet food industry), ultra processed pet food is not only detrimental to a pet's health, but it is filled with synthetics to make them balanced and complete. Additionally, to make them shelf stable, they contain preservatives (such as Ethoxyquin) and Advanced Glycation End products (AGEs), all of which cause cancer. There is no such thing as 'premium' kibble, ultra processed is ultra processed....it is like choosing between McDonald's, Burger King or Wendy's!When I asked the staff why this store carries this terrible food (kibble and canned) they said because "it sells". That was hard to hear. Profit over integrity.You are in a position to advocate and educate pet parents. Why not take that opportunity? To make a difference that will impact pet's health and nutrition in the long term? I would be happy to support a business like that.If you think that is not possible, look a few miles away to the Nautical Dog in Williamsburg. They are doing exactly that and many travel the distance for the quality. They also stand behind the principles outlined in The Forever Dog book.I hope that although this may be hard to hear, you will take it into consideration because all I want is for the horrible companies making products that hurt our pets to be eliminated permanently and those that nourish our pets to be celebrated and put ahead. Pet parents everywhere are walking up and doing their research regarding the terrible products, much of what is available in your store.I do thank you for also carrying some great food brands (raw and gently cooked) and products, but it can be better. Your prices are also reasonable. You have potential to be a great store!I hope that you consider being part of the solution.

Cheryl, the girls and guys in there have been awesome to us for years now with everything our dogs need. This is a true local business that does an outstanding job upholding a consistent excellent reputation and customer experience every time. If you need a shop with employees who genuinely care about your pets this is the one. Virginia Beach is becoming heavily commercialized however, in this shop you feel at home. They have patience and actually talk to you. Their business is not just a transaction most people are repeat customers like our family. Hope this helps you out while reading reviews.

I absolutely love it here! We got a rescue pup who wasn’t eating. I needed advice. Living nearby, we walked over to Doggstuff and they were BEYOND helpful! They recommend a type that our pup now loves and threw in a few samples as well. I’ve been back since, and the staff is always so kind. I learn something new every time. We’ll definitely be back!

I just went for the first time today and was greeted immediately upon walking in with lots of friendly faces. The choices are endless here when looking for healthy alternative and supplemental foods for your puppers. Everything is very reasonably priced. An older woman filled me in on the quality of the foods they offer. OH, they also have pet grooming supplies and a TON of toys. This is a one stop shop for the health, fun and care of your doggos. We will be back.

Doggstuff is a locally owned pet store. They offer very personalized service and really helpful staff. The owner is wonderful and very knowledgeable about their products. It's a little out of the way but definitely worth going to. I cancelled my Chewy subscription after finding this place, it is that good and I like supporting a local business. They even gave me free food samples when I was changing my dogs diet. Highly recommend checking this place out!

I thought curbside only would be a hassle, since I wanted to shop around because I have never been here. But the staff were very accommodating and informative. Have to start my dog on a renal diet, and though I researched how to properly store his new Answers diet, she made sure i knew how! Super informative and knowledgeable staff. We ended up finding Doggstuff because our dog has to be on a special diet and it can be hard to find enough food for him. When I say this store has a selection, they have a SELECTION! He's on Stella & Chewy's raw, and him being on the bigger side (90+ lbs) he's goes through a decent amount of food. They always have his food in stock and resupply throughout the week! Even started recognizing my husband when he would run in for another restock. Highly reccomend!!

THE best place to get all your pets foods, treats and just about anything your pet needs for their best nutrition and special diets. I learned about this place from the breeder we got our Maine Coons from. I buy 99% of our food and treats from here. Excellent prices too! Give them a try! Glad I did!

Very helpful staff and genuine concern for our dog who is suffering from some travel-related anxiety. We stopped in hoping to find some nutritional relief as he wasn't eating and we had been on the road for a few days already, with a few days left on our trip. We left with some awesome advice and a few products that were great! Our beloved pup is eating back on track and doing great.

I live in a nearby neighborhood and visit this store at least once a week. Not just for the great prices and healthy treats/toys, but because of the good people that work there. We are always treated so warmly, and they even remember our dogs name. Great people, great business !!

We loved this awesome local dog store and so did Marley. They have all the homemade treats you could imagine and their other treats are made natural. They have cheap treats and fresh all natural dog and cat food. It's really a lovely store and your four-legged pal is sure to enjoy as well.

I came in over the past weekend. This is a very good store. I finally found a dog store (not just a pet store). Tired of pet stores. Needed a dog store that sold a variety of frozen raw meats/poultry and I'm not talking about the standard Instinct commercial brand and pet stores. I have been buying frozen raw online for over a year now and I finally have a selection at a local store. They have a variety of dehydrate, freeze-dried, and frozen raw to choose from. Prices are reasonable here (save on shipping). It may be a small store, but it has a lot more to choose from compared to regular pet stores if you are looking for more than just kibble to feed them.

The store is incredibly cramped and claustrophobic. The associates who were working were not helpful as they had almost no knowledge about most of their products. There are so many items with no pricing and then way too many items that are over priced. I was able to purchase the items I came in for through Amazon for a much cheaper price. The only saving grace is that this store offers a good variety and abundance of pet goods, but overall I wouldn't go here again.

Great place! Cheryl and Megan are extremely helpful and caring. From food selection to training advice and equipment, they are very knowledgeable. They have a great variety of food, treats, toys and pretty much anything you'll need for your canine companions.
