Emily has been grooming my 3 girls for a while now and she is an amazing groomer! I know they are in good hands when they are with her. She does such a good job on my Great Pyrenees who can be a little bit of a pain and has some tough hair to work through but she always leaves looking amazing! The place is very clean and everyone I came in contact with was very welcoming. I couldn’t recommend Emily and Pretty Paws enough!!

I take both our dogs to Pretty Paws for baths, teeth cleaning and nail trims. (Mine do not need grooming/cuts). Jennifer and her staff have always been super friendly, professional and my babies are well taken care of! I always recommend Pretty paws to pet parents!!

I had my little Fur baby groomed today by Emily! She did a AMAZING job! My baby is very very attached to me so I was worried about leaving him. However Emily reassured me how he was doing while I was gone. Not only did she do a fantastic job grooming my fur baby, but the staff was also incredibly friendly and attentive. My baby came out looking and feeling great, and I could tell he was well taken care of during the process. I highly recommend Pretty Paws grooming services to anyone looking for quality care for their pets.

My boyfriend and I moved to the area in August and have been using pretty paws for our sweet doggo since. They always do a great job and he always comes back with the cutest bandana. I know he doesn’t like the groomers but they always say he does well (even if he doesn’t ha!). Pricing is good and the staff is really nice. I also really like that they call you as soon as they’re done so your pet doesn’t sit there all day! He’s home within 2-3 hours of getting dropped off. Definitely recommend!

Emily is the best groomer I've ever used for my big boy. He has always had to be medicated due to his anxiety but Emily said to bring him in and she would work with him and take her time. Sure enough, he was able to get through his appointment and was near not near as upset or anxious as normal. Also, this place smells great and is clean!!!

I’m editing this review as we went back today and I was shocked that my 45lb dog who’s fur was kept brushed and in good shape was 100.00 to bathe, nails ears and trim and shape her….. I was told a way different price when we first considered this place… there is no price sheet anywhere and they just charge what they feel like it should cost so to my shock and awe I paid it but we won’t return. That’s more than some people pay for two dogs to be groomed and they get just as good of service. That was our last trip to pretty paws as I love the place and people but the unrealistic pricing and no listed prices or sticking to the price they quote is unreal! Pretty paws did an amazing job on our girl Lanie! They started with a mess and matted hair and she came out beautiful and so happy! Alania did a great job grooming her! Also Dillion did an amazing job on our mess of a girl Luna! She needed some love and good grooming skills!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful Jennifer and her team are. As General Manager of Vinton Vet, I can attest that they are kind and do a wonderful job! When our hospital took in a very ill dog and decided to make that dog a part of the Vinton Vet family, Jennifer and her team donated to our fund for her to get surgery done on her knees and donated grooming services while she was sick. Louise is loved and cared for by her whole team and always looks amazing! We live Pretty Paws!

One month ago when I took my Labrador in for a bath I was told the price had increased from $20 to $25. Fair enough. Today when I went to pick him up, I was told it was $50. For a basic bath. No ears or nails. Just a bath. Obviously, Pretty Paws can charge what they want, but it’s shady to not inform someone when they book that the price has doubled. So, my dog got a $50 bath today and he still had an eye booger. ✌🏼

You know they are great with your dog when your dog is so excited to go inside once they arrive for their grooming! Ollie loves his goomer! I like it because Ollie doesn't have to sit in a cage for hours before or after he is attended to. I drop him off, and 90 minutes later I get a phone call to come pick him up.

I always enjoy taking my Molly to Pretty Paws. I drive from Bedford because this is a great place to get grooming. I have golden doodle and the groomer does a great job, and always grooms her just the way I ask. And she always smells so good! The customer servicevis absolutely the best too!!

Today was our first time using Pretty Paws! My 3 year old Yorkie has “cotton” like hair that mats very easily. Our previous groomer always just wanted to shave her to the skin and she looked horrible. Emily took her time and really went above and beyond to make sure she was doing what I wanted! Carmi looks better than she ever has! Carmi was originally my mom’s babygirl and my mom passed away Aug 2023 so Carmi is very special to us! Thank you Emily and Pretty Paws, Luci and Millie will be getting a appt next!

Our Doodle has been going to Pretty Paws for a year and we consistently have a wonderful experience. They do a fabulous job on his groom and get him in and out amazingly fast, despite how stubborn and challenging I know he must be. I have two huge dogs! I have an American Akita and a Husky. I have been going to this groomer for about two years now. I go every three months and they do a beautiful job D-shedding, cutting nails, brushing the teeth, cleaning their ears. When I get my for babies back they are dried and well taken care of!

I had an appointment, but they called me and asked me to move days. I did it, but unfortunately work was hectic and I never changed it on my calendar. When I missed the appointment, the office was rude and said I would have to pay a no show fee.Look, things happen, but I wasn’t rude when they changed my appointment. I didn’t demand a discount. For them to be that way to me after me being a solid customer is not something I will tolerate. They are extremely convenient to my home, this is a complete disappointment.

We started at Pretty Paws last year for our senior miniature Schnauzer who hates to be brushed, have his feet touched, and generally is hard to groom. They started with a mess and got him looking like he was not an abandoned mutt. They are super professional and we appreciate the appointment reminders. They have a super cute and clean salon and call to offer earlier openings if available. And the best thing besides having a perfectly groomed pup, is he is actually smiling and happy when he leaves. We are very pleased!

Brought in my 115 lb golden retriever Cody to get his nails trimmed and now I won’t go anywhere else! Everyone else I’ve gone to have always been so afraid to really cut his nails, and so even after a trim, his nails would still be super long, but after getting his nails clipped here, there was such a difference! They looked like they had been clipped and trimmed and looked the best that they have in a long time. Everyone here is so kind and caring and love each dog like their own. I was very impressed, and based on how they did his nails, they absolutely know what they’re doing. Will be bringing my other golden!!

I have taken my dog here twice for grooming and now I can’t get anyone to answer the phone when I call to make another appointment. I have left messages and a call back number and keep calling but they never answer the phone. They did a great job grooming my dog but sadly I have to find another groomer since they don’t answer their phone.

We have gone to Pretty Paws since they opened and have gone to Jennifer for as long as I can remember. We no longer have our beautiful Bella but all we had to say to her was "we are going to see Jen Jen" and she was so ready to ride. During Bella's illness, Jennifer and staff took such good care of her. I never worried about Bella when we dropped her off.Whenever we make the decision to get us another furbaby that is where she/he will go so that they can also be pampered.

Pretty Paws is a lovely pet grooming salon in Vinton VA. They will take good care of your fur babies as if they were their own. My dogs have always smelled awesome and looked beautiful when leaving the salon. Give them a call!
