Super friendly staff. Extremely knowledgeable in the trades and parts to fix everything. Wasn't even sure what I needed exactly but with the pieces I took with me they were able to put together exactly what I needed and told me how to install it and it worked perfectly. Without their helpful staff I would have ended up needing a plumber to get my hot water going.

I like to do business here it's sort of close to home, and they often have what I need for hardware purposes. Today needed 2 cycle oil to make 50:1 for chain saw. $8.00 for small 6.4oz. Bottle. Upset. Went to Tractor Supply in Vinton, $9.00 for large 16oz bottle with built in measure dispenser. Returned small bottle back to Ace for refund.

Gracie at the Vinton Northwest Hardware helped me with a propane tank issue and she ordered me a grill cover for my new 36" Blackstone 4 burner sear grill. Great place to get all my weekend "Honey Do" items without having to drive into town.

GREAT PEOPLE!!! I just went there the other day to purchase a Christmas present for my parents who are moving to the area. I bought two Adirondack chairs and small table from them THINKING I would be able to fit them into my SUV. When they didn't fit, the manager asked for where I was trying to get with them. Since it was only about a 10 minute drive from the store, they brought the chairs over FOR FREE! I am very happy with my purchase and the customer service! 10/10!

3/21/19 The staff was helpful. The lady at check out was friendly and personable.8/27/22 This Ace Hardware continues to get better and better. Staff are very well informed about the products they offer and are quick to help with questions. Wish this location was bigger so that the could continue to grow their product lines.

Stopped by because of there "50% Off One Item" "coupon". Found an item not listed in the exclusions. Went to pay for the item, knowing the max value for the "coupon" was $25, which was fine, only for the cashier to say the item I selected was excluded. This isn't the first time, but will be the last time I spend money with this company. Horrible way to do business.

I only go there as a last resort. The ladies working at checkout never greet the customers and act like they're doing you a favor by taking your money. No enforcement of the mask mandate, customers and some staff maskless. Last visit, there was a guy hanging out around the counter, talking to the checkout girl, maskless and with a pistol in plain sight. Couldn't leave without having to walk within 2 feet of him. Held my breath and swore silently yet again I would never go there again.

BOY OH BOY, has this place come a long way since becoming an Ace Hardware!Our visit today delighted me, as FINALLY there is enough actual hardware that I can buy singles of. I LOVE THAT. You don't always need a package of ten widgets, but perhaps just one or two.Hardware stores are my favorite places to visit, and to be picky as to their inventory.I don't like their current brand of chicken feed, and will continue to drive the extra 20 miles, to a different Ace, so our hens are happy. After all, they provide us with healthy eggs.Great job so far!

I was in need of a half inch piece of PVC pipe. Info online line shows store was open until 7:15 PM. I arrive at the store at 7:09pm and store was closed and gentleman at standing inside laughed and would not let me in. I've had numerous issues at this location in past.

I went in to get a wing nu for my lawnmower and at almost dollars including tax I think the 20cent bolt should come with it ,i think these people just want to rob the little person .I mean after all what good is one piece with out the other,9out of 10 chances if you need one you need the other

I love this store....pretty good prices, and close to home. Sometimes a few employees are non-communicative, and downright sour and dour....but the majority are helpful, smiling, and ready to work!Today I had to get 50 pounds of chicken feed, and I was struggling to get it up into my arms. A young man ran over, carried it to checkout, and after scanning/paying he carried it to my car! Love that, and in EIGHT YEARS that is a first.They are transitioning to an Ace Hardware from True Value Hardware, and that scares me, because we are very rural and need rural-type things, which Ace normally doesn't carry. But, the world will change with or without me, so I better get used to it. 💜💜💜And, SEEDS WERE HALF PRICE TODAY!
