My lawn mower had a broken wheel. I phoned because some hardware stores fix mowers. This place didn't. I looked at another store closer to home for wheels, without luck. I decided to visit Ace to see if they might actually have wheels. They had exactly the one I needed. The mower is fine now.I think Ace prices are expensive, but you are happy to pay if you can't get it elsewhere. They have stuff.

My "go to" DIY, home improvement, "get what you need" store. I much prefer here to the big box stores. Easier to find help, and the drive is much less than going to their bigger competitors !! Plus, I like to "shop local" when I can. Today's visit was to get some light bulbs and a "First Alert" carbon monoxide detector.

THE EMPLOYEE AT THIS ACE WAS NOT WILLING TO HELP ME A DISABLED CUSTOMER, I NEEDED KEYS CUT & I HAVE ALWAYS SUPPLIED MY OWN BLANKS. I TOLD HIM IF THEY DIDN'T WORK I WOULDN'T HOLD HIM RESPONSIBLE BUT HE DIDN'T CARE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED AT THIS STORE.

Had to ask 2 people where something was, both acted like I was bothering them. Not friendly in the least. I try to shop here as opposed to Home Depot and Lowe's but very disappointed with this experience.

Don't be fooled by thinking hardware stores charge more, Ace Hardware has the best products and good prices.
