I like this store as it has some items other stores don't some items are high priced others the same as others. It's always clean the staff friendly and helpful, which I love. It makes you feel like they really care about you and not just your money.

All the essentials are available. Not as much variety in some sections, floral and baby needs, for example, as other grocery stores, but they've been here and been competitively priced forever. Good selection of beers and their custom birthday cakes are excellent. Staff is always friendly.

Like shopping there, usually get pretty good deals. Was looking for a ham for Christmas, picked out 2 nice butts for $1.09 lb. Checked my rec, didn't show the discount. Was told and showed the sales paper you had to spend $30 to get the discount. Didn't say that at the meat area, just thought was another good deal. Returned them both, too pricey for my budget, didn't need the extra $30 in groceries. Guess I'll check around for a ham for Christmas somewhere else, but another lesson learned.

It's the closest store to my house and they always have what my daughter likes there. Especially when it comes to the lunchables and the Walmart that I go to never has them in stock. I think they actually stop selling them so I have to go there for some things that my 5-year-old needs and it's the perfect place to go

I love shopping at food Lion, they have great bargins! I give it five stars Food lion is still a great place to shop! There are always great bargains to be found! 👍🏾Nothing much has changed prices have gone up on everything just like every where else. I love the people that work here for the most part they're all very kind and hardworking. Food lions fruit & vegetable section could use a little bump of options and stock (by that I mean the items go bad within one day of purchasing them as well) but they don't keep a very high stock in things like Kale etc anyways it's way more convenient than pushing your way through a bigger parking lot with an even bigger grocery store whom shall remain nameless. LoL

Our local Food Lion, we shop here a lot. Most of the sourpuss cashiers that used to work here are either gone, or not working the weekends! Friendly, clean, a nice variety of items, but wish they had more. We appreciate them.

Food Lion is smaller than its primary competitor in Vinton, a Kroger, but Food Lion competes well. It's prices are often cheaper than at Kroger. A primary distinction is that at Kroger most customers check themselves out with self-check registers, and at Food Lion all customers use regular old fashioned checkout lanes with friendly employees.

There is no self check-out here, they have many checkers. If it happens to get backed up, someone opens an extra lane. Staff is very efficient, the store is clean and they have a good selection of products.

Clean, roomy to walk around, items are well arranged on the shelves, staff are very welcoming and friendly. We forgot to bring our store card to use for a discounted items and the cashier was very nice to give us the discount. We used to shop there when we used to live in Vinton for 10 years. Good prices too!

Parking lot is very well lit. The staff are great and friendly. The cost of items is reasonable. The store like most has issues staying stocked. The deli was closed an hour early by the staff not by the store. The parking lot seems to always have trash near the left entrance. So had to drop from 5 to 3 stars.

7yr old grandaughter loves the white cheddar cheetos, been checking the haven't been able to find Red Robin fries nor the mini chicken legs. I'm aware of stores low stock but using fuel at prices to get items there with no luck is really aggravating. Tried calling ahead of time to ask availability of items, but never answer..staff is always friendly!(older staff that is)

I love this store because I go in I find things I need and I don't see bare shelves. I also think they are great about marking items with little stickers that indicate if it is gluten free or not. Thank you for doing this Food Lion. It makes it so much faster when I don't have to read the item labels on the boxes.

We shop here about 4 times a week. The staff are very friendly. They recently remodeled. Looks pretty good. The store is clean. Being smaller than their local competitor the selection isn't as good but they do a good job covering major options. Their prices are higher than their competitor but it is far easier to park and get in an out quicker (the primary reason we shop here). With a family of 8 we use their competitor for our large trip each week plus it saves us money on our gas but if they were to get their prices in line we would use Food Lion exclusively. They do have great sales at Food Lion.

I was very excited to go to food lion today. This one in Vinton VA is very clean and fresh. The people there are nice and informative. I asked the one of the stocker to help me find some things. He went above and beyond his job. He found just about everything. What was so great is I was in line ready to check out and he came up to me. With the one thing he could not find. I don't shop to much at food lion anymore. The reason I went there was. Where I usually shop they stop selling the one thing I like the most. And food lion still sells it. That's one reason I going back to food lion. And this store is one of the nicest store.

Excellent varieties of many items, wish there were more options on others, but a great moderately sized grocery store with good prices and great sale items!

Worst flower section I've ever seen. The cut flowers were past prime: wilted or moldy. The mums wilted or moldy, all the roses were dried up. Only the succulents were worth purchase. The manager should be ashamed.

Extremely impressed with Food Lions curbside grocery pick up. The employee shopping for my groceries text me to verify if I need to to change or add anything. Then text me that it was ready. I was able to pickup several hours before my reserved time slot. After arriving I only had to wait 2-3 minutes before my groceries were delivered to my vehicle. And the young man that brought them out was extremely polite. My 7 year old even said wow mom he was very nice. This was a much better experience then I have ever had with Walmart or Kroger’s. I’ll never shop for groceries anywhere else. Thank you for your excellent service Food Lion.
