Love the staff and manager. Very Friendly. She has worked hard on the appearance. She walked into a disaster as has really organized the store a lot....she has done a great job getting it to where it should be . Very helpful and friendly staff and I've walked right in there right at closing ( not paying attention )and nobody has made me feel unwanted, staff was still willing to help me with a smile.

10624 Stewartsville Rd, Vinton, VA 24179 location.......For some reason there closed during normal hours all the time.... with no note on the door with why or when they will open... as a Manger if your employee don't show up it's your responsibility to step up and run the store. This is unacceptable and poor management....

It's gotten a lot better. Main problem I have now days is out of date products being sold. If it's got a date be sure to check it.

The aisles crowded with stock has gotten better. Saw an actual stocker there today. Be careful though of prices. They tend to have 1 price on the signs/labels & u get charged another... usually .10-.20 more. This has happened over the last couple months. When brought to their attention they say it's bc signs haven't been changed & $ gets refunded back to u. Mostly noticed w food items. Just keep an eye out....

Usually good service. Keeping stock in boxes on carts allover the store makes it hard to get around and shop. They need to have someone stock shelves at night so day shift can take better care of customers and have a cleaner store.

This store sucks bad, the cash registers never work can’t is it card one day, or you can’t use cash the next day then you never know when they’re closed. They’ll close the doors whenever they want. I don’t see it being open much longer.

We go here when we need household or cleaning supplies, as the prices are better than any other grocery store.So today was a day to stock up, and WOW what a difference in this location! The clerks were helpful without being asked, and the checkout clerk told us about a better bargain in-store than the quantity we had selected.THANK YOU to the management for cleaning this location up and finding employees who obviously love their work and share in your pride.

They appeared busy and short handed. The stock racks were in the isles and the shelves were empty. We got what we wanted headed to the register, while the cashier engaged the line of 4 people in silly conversation to pass the time! She was awesome and the only person we saw the whole time we were their!

A bit higher priced than full sized supermarkets. Designed really for the "ooops, I forgot to stop and get [product]. I really don't want to back track". Only reason I stop here, mainly because I just don't forget to stop at the bigger store, is my cell phone payment. Costs the same as everywhere else and it is close enough to home.

Of all the dollar General stores across the country this is the cleanest one I've seen. This is a very busy and popular store in the area and sometimes can be a line at check out. There are only 2 registers. They have a good selection of small daily things one might need.

Not enough help. The store has outgrown the area. The grounds are dirty with trash lying around. There are only a couple presentable looking people behind the counter. I always have to stand in line for a while.

This is a great place to stop by on your way home when you need a few groceries but don't want to wrestle with the crowd at the grocery store. Smaller selection than the grocery store but it's worth it because it's cheap and easy to get in and out.

Horrible store! Walking through it is nearly impossible. There are carts full of stock everywhere, yet the shelves are bare in many isles. Do not recommend shopping here.

Dollar general stores have great prices .most of the time they have everything you need. Always have a great prices on the clothes. When they reduce prices on the clothes, great are amazing prices.

This in particular dollar general rt24 stewartsville va was well stock no carts blocking aisles with unload truck on them very friendly cashier easy in and out very pleased with over all store
