This is the worst cvs ever they are so rude, the manager Tammy Pham Is also rude and has no empathy, they lied and told my my insurance wouldn't cover my medication and that it would be 80$. So I called my doctor and he informed me to use goodRX, witch I was able to do and I got my medication filled but I noticed it was only half! So I called the cvs and explained it was only half full and they told me I could come get in in couple hours, I would stay away from this pharmacy unless you want your day ruined.

ALWAYS CHECK YOUR MEDICATIONS!! This CVS filled my daughters lexapro 10mg bottle with the WRONG medicine! Instead of lexapro 10mg she received tolteridine 1mg (a urinary incontinence drug). Tolteridine should not be taken in people with heart or kidney issues and my child has both. All month I thought she was dehydrated bc she was only urinating 1 time per day, when all along she was on a medicine to keep her from urinating! I discovered the error when I was refilling her pill strip for the week. I noticed the pill felt wrong for lexapro. So I googled the numbers on the pill and sure enough, it was not lexapro. I went to the pharmacy immediately to fond out why or how this could happen and exactly who made the error! I was argued with by the pharmacist Pat, I was told to wait while the looked info up, I was treated like I had done something wrong. And even though my child was standing right beside me, Not a single person apologized or asked if she was ok!! They showed total disrespect to me and no concern that they could have hurt a child! I called CVS corporate to file a complaint. I was told they would investigate this and let me know what they found in 2 days. Well 5 days came and went, so I called corporate back. I was lucky to speak to the gentleman I did bc he was the first and only person yet to apologize for the mistake, AND ASK IF SHE WAS OK! He informed me that no one actually investigated the original call. So he involved regional managers and higher ups and I had a phone call within 2 hours. Unfortunately, this phone call only informed me that they would continue to investigate because they had not found any errors on CVS's part and she would contact me shortly. This was several weeks ago, I have not heard back from anyone and will be calling again today. I'm LIVID! I immediately moved all my child's prescriptions to a different pharmacy but my insurance doesn't pay for any other pharmacy near me, so I'm stuck with them but luckily was able to move my child's. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PHARMACY! and if you do have to use them always check the numbers on the pills inside your medicine bottle against a pill identifier resource (google works).

This store is at a great intersection location. The employees, especially Randy, are always friendly and helpful. I've seen them walk people through photo copies, passport pic, etc. gladly on several occasions.I've never had a bad experience and I come often.Drive thru pharmacy is backed up at typical after work times, but they are quicker than most.

This is the worst CVS in Roanoke/Vinton and they need to get new employees. The customer service is awful and the pharmacy is a joke. Very rude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would give zero stars but they make you put one. Corporate really needs to step in and check this place out because it's awful!

This is the absolute worst place in the entire Roanoke valley to have your prescriptions filled at.. probably the worst place to pick in the entire state for getting prescriptions filled. The pharmacy stays closed or closing at 2-3PM. On a Thursday. EAD vinton CVS

I used to think the people in the Pharmacy at Kroger was rude and hateful. But today the rudeness I received from the pharmacy tech dude, the guy checking me out listening more to his music in his earbuds and the rude comment from the lady in the drive thru tops it all. It's a shame Vinton only has 1 option now for RX drugs since Kroger no longer accepts my insurance company.

I started using CVS because I was tired of the Kroger pharmacy in Vinton never having the drive through open. For a while it was great, I’d get texts when scripts were ready and had no issues picking them up. Then within the last few months it has become ridiculous. I understand that they and Kroger have had to absorb patients from two smaller pharmacies in town that closed, but it doesn’t explain why they will randomly be closed for full days when they should be open. Then they say they are too behind to get rxs filled timely. On top of that issue there is the condescension and rudeness. I’ve even been told if I want my medicine anytime soon I’ll have to come in and stand there and make them fill it. I’ve been talked down to and scoffed at. People don’t use pharmacies for fun. Medicine is a necessity for those of us who are calling and coming in and trying to find out where our rxs are. My disabled child needs several different medications 4 times a day. Two are controlled substances and need to be called in by a doctor every time, and can only be filled when there are 2 pills left. I do not have the luxury of waiting multiple extra days, it is always a stressful, tight turnaround with coordinating between the doctor and the pharmacy. Even if everything goes right I’m picking things up with no cushion. This goes on every two weeks or so as he doesn’t run out of things at the same time, and it’s exhausting not having a pharmacy that can be relied upon. I work full time and I don’t have all the time in the world to sit there and make you fill my child’s rxs. All in all between the pharmacy rarely being open when it should be, rxs not being filled on time, and the incredibly rude and uncaring nature of the staff, I have to say this is the worst pharmacy I’ve dealt with.

This CVS is one of my least favorites. It's small, so the aisles feel cramped, just not a very comfortable atmosphere. It just feels as of too much is crammed into the too small store. Feels more like a DG than a CVS.

Very poor experience time after time! Pharmacists are extremely rude and refused to help me get my prescription transferred because “she didn’t have time”, after I waited on hold for 25 minutes to speak to someone….will find another pharmacy immediately.

Let me start by saying, that I've overall had good experiences with this CVS, which is why I'm give 2 stars. However, today is not so much. Sudden, dramatic change in store hours with no explanation, E-mail, call, or text. Unable to reach store manager to discuss issues. I work 12 hour shifts (7:30am-7:30 or 8pm) and several of my medications are controlled substances and therefore cannot be delivered or must be even scanned by my driver's license. I work weekends as well. Working in healthcare myself I understand things can change, however NO notification to your customers is unacceptable when I cannot have a way to receive my medications. (When controlled, they can't be delivered or picked up by anyone else). There are always notifications from CVS (even when you don't want/or need them) yet this time- it was needed.

I have tried reaching CVS to have a prescription filled that my doctor send directly to them on six different occasions and have been on hold for as long as twenty minutes without success. I will make a trip there today and hope to get my medicine without delay.

The staff do not communicate with the pharmacist. Pam was the first person I spoke who and after two days still no meds. Then after the 3rd call and speaking the exceptionally rude pharmacist Tammy I still don’t have my antibiotic or nausea medication. I work in healthcare and it shouldn’t take 3 days to get your prescribed medication. Her excuses were no one told her and she had 3 shots to give because her nurse left due to living in the side of a mountain. I wish everyone that uses this pharmacy the best of luck, you will need it!!!

The pharmacy is the worst. They have such an attitude and one of the techs is so rude, disrespectful and clearly doesn’t under HIPPA. You work behind the pharmacy treat people with respect - don’t blab someone’s personal information out loud several times for everyone to hear bc of your own incompetence and inability to remember the information, maybe as the pharmacy tech you should have wrote this down.RXs are never ready even after receiving a phone call that they are.This pharmacy is so disorganized it needs to just close.

Gave them one star because I had to. The most horrible pharmacy around. The store manager Toby was no help the pharmacy staff hung up on me when asking about a breathing meds because I asked what am I to do with out this medication when they told me they had it. STAY AWAY

Simply horrible. The head pharmacist is rude, makes mistakes then gets a bad attitude against you. This pharmacy used to be great and whoever is managing it now is NOT concerned with customer service. I was told by corporate that I would be reimbursed for an overcharge, to go in and pick it up. When I got there, they said the pharmacist refused. I was never given a reason. It wasn't the money, the acting manager was going to give me a gift card, but I told him not to, that he may get in trouble...I would wait until I spoke to the pharmacist (female, I don't know her name) tells me what was the problem. I've given my phone number and have NEVER gotten any response. If this woman has a personal problem with you, evidently she will go to any length to "win". I'll go to Kroger from now on. ANYPLACE BUT CVS!

It's such a shame to hear that the pharmacy has such low reviews because this pharmacy is really close to my house and I would use the entire store if only the pharmacy and staff had nicer reviews! I wonder if it has gotten better since the last reviews about the pharmacy were posted? Can anyone advise? I have stepped into the store a few times pre-Covid to just shop and never had an issue with the staff that were not pharmacy - Like I said, I'd spend even more money here and switch pharmacies due to its convenient location, but not if everything here about pharmacy staff is true (I'd write it off if it were just one review, but it's SO MANY!). For those who use CVS, I can highly recommend the staff at the CVS on Brambleton right next to the Kroger - they are super nice and willing to work with you.

Overall, I like this pharmacy. Sometimes they make mistakes, and at busy times can be slow, but so can any other pharmacy. I am a regular customer there now, over the last 2 years, and have had far more positive, excellent experiences than not. And I can call the pharmacy for help on something, and they are very helpful. 4.5 Stars!

I have been using this pharmacy on Hardy road for 3 years now. And I have always been very pleased with their service, but for the past 6 months when I have called to check on my prescriptions I am put on hold for longer than 15 minutes my refills are not getting done not getting faxed to my doctor I don't know if they're low on staff which I'm sure that's the problem But I'm very dissatisfied at this point

Well, They don’t communicate with each other, very rude. You have one tech tell you Doctors Office denied it,then you call ur MD’s office , had been ready on their end but Then now another tech tells u the nex day that they are out, but not....tech was to lazy to go look in the back and then the Pharmacist realize their is some 30 day instead of 120 days so pharmacists calls me to tell me this. So finally the next day got some of it...but it sucks this happens over 3 to 4 days no medication. Think god it was not a life or death situation. But something needs to be done about it. Now 120 days with one refill, no supplies again, now again have to wait but at least I had the refill. They really need to revamp the whole employees in the Pharmacy area, the rest is a great place to shop.

The Pharmacy Manager (Jamie) is the rudest individual I have ever come across in customer service, even before she knew why I was calling to speak to her, her answers were short and condescending. If you have an issue with this pharmacy for any reason (short medication, not ready on time, insurance, etc) she is rude and unhelpful. Sadly, corporate has no checks or balances in place. Please save yourself hours of headaches and just go to any other pharmacy (including other cvs'). Even if it's a longer drive, it's worth what you will save in aggravation. If you do use this pharmacy, please pick up your scripts inside and open them and count everything that is supposed to be there. If you leave and find out the gave you the incorrect item or amount then Jamie will do nothing to rectify and not even check video and corporate will not help other than note the complaint.

This Vinton CVS Pharmacy is the WORST! The Staff in the Back are Rude, No Personality, Ignore You. I have Never had so many Problems out of a Place , like this one. I would Recommend You find Another Place. Don’t Waste Your Time.

I was at store 4161 in Vinton on October 28th to make a photo enlargement and some photo books for gifts. I'm not very good at figuring out the machine and the employee Ravyn came over and assisted me. I made 8 books that had to be put together and she had customers at the register to take care of too but she was very patient and took great care of us all. I appreciated the great service and will definitely shop there again.

The pharmacy is the worst part of this store . The staff are so rude . They don't answer the phones when they should , you can hear them pick up qas and place you on hold with out saying hello . There was a man working front counter one night very skinny caucasian gentleman with glasses he was high as a kite and you could tell . Smh I wish this wasn't the only one close to me here in vinton because the employees are awful !!!!!!
