How are you supposed to shop at your store? Nobody ever knows when you're open. One day it's 10 or 6 or some other goofy time. Pretty sad when a customer has to drive down to Locust Grove to shop. Funny thing is. There's at least 2 customers that had to drive to the other store to. I don't even bother anymore.

Place randomly closes at 4pm-8pm for a while now, first excuse was covid, then not enough employees, now technical difficulties. The one new guy who's been there for couple months now acts like a crackhead, talks about how much he hates his job and he never gets a break and is more worried about being on his phone rather than helping customers. Better off going to the Locust Grove location.

Most cashiers are super helpful and friendly! Twice i have gone in and the line was really backed up and only one cashier was open. Both instances i noticed the other employee in the side room, she looked like she was doing her best to look busy and ignore the line even though it was almost out the darn door. She never opened the other register, at least not while i was waiting in the line.It just so happened it was the same employee avoiding the long line of customers both times.Other than those 2 times, i have always had great experiences at this particular dollar general!

This place is usually dirty with stock in multiple aisles, as it was this trip. Sometimes you have to wait for a cashier, 1-2 minutes! And this visit as I walked up to the counter and was about 8 feet away from check out, the 3 employees left from behind the counter. 2 went to smoke and the other headed for the back of the store. If I hadn't yelled " no effing way are you gonna walk away as I get up here" I believe I would have been left standing there. Avoid this store if possible

This store is very convenient to my home and it is easy to save money by signing up for their digital coupons. The employees are always helpful and courteous. At first I was worried that it may cause more accidents on that stretch of Rt. 20 when it was determined it was being built, but so far it seems to have not posed any more problems on Rt. 20 than already exists!

Okay, I concede the point made by Steve and others that this store is very cluttered. However, the people here are some of the friendliest DG folks I have ever encountered.They staff here will help you find things, they ask how your day is going- and they do this without holding the lines up.The selection of personal care items is great at this store, and the parking is plentiful.For me, customer service is the customer experience. I can pick up my soap at any store, let's face it. However, when I can arrive at a location with a greeting and have a positive shopping experience, this encourages me to keep coming back.The prices here are right in line with other DG stores.

I love this store! The only thing they could do to make it better is to be able to keep up the stock of frozen and refrigerated food they sell out of every week so fast and to add a little fresh produce so I would never have to make the dreaded trip to Walmart. LOL The employees are great 👍

One of the women helping me was very kind and went out of her way to help me find an item that I was looking for. Even though they didn't have the item, she apologized and let me know when they would be getting another shipment.

Opened within the past 6 months. Typical Dollar General merchandise. Since the location is mainly residential (only other visible 'shop' is the BP has station) this store is neater than other locations that receive more customer traffic. However, if you are headed down 522 to Lake Anna, this is a great location to stop for last minute lake goods until you get to Dickenson's Store/Shell.

My favorite dollar general. The store manager and employees are always super nice amd always keeping the store clean and organized. I will travel past other dollar generals in orange area to come to this one

Staff is always friendly, constantly restocking the shelves, and prices are always reasonable. I can call anytime & ask if they have something in stock and they always check it for me.

Don't know who the cashier was BUT boy was she pleasant. She was such a joy. Wish more cashiers were half as pleasant as she was.

Cheap and you can get just about all the weird items on your shopping lost. They even had eggs and milk and pancake mix. When you are in a hurry and ate just trying to feed 7 kids. lol.
