It is a nasty bunch of people, they talk about employees and customers like they are trash . They also take and the manager has no respect for anyone or anything ..this store neefs to be investigated ...

This place is in kept and unorganized, it seems to be understaffed because every time I'm in there it's just one person working the register ad the whole store is just dirty.Yes it's a dollar General and I shouldn't expect much but they could do much better.The store is cheap and the products are better than dollar tree so there is that.Over all id say that if you want cheap and a quick visit go here but don't expect help looking for anything.

The staff is nice. The store is so cluttered it makes for a miserable shopping experience. Most of the time you cant go down the aisles because they are blocked with carts of freight. The shopping cart cant fit down the aisles. You have to dig through carts and boxes to get to the items on the shelves. The only reason i shop there is because it is close to home, and even then i hate going in there.

Love Dollar General Union Hall. Staff (esp. Margaret & Sandy) go more than out of their way to help me (disabled). They are like that with everyone. Selection of products superb. Please don't EVER close that branch. PLEASE!!!

Dollar General on Rt. 40 in Union Hall, VA is a wonderful place to shop. All employees are extremely friendly & helpful always, especially "Margaret". She consistently goes out of her way to help customers find things etc... and always has kind things to say not only to me but to all others. And she makes people laugh. She's a special person. Love shopping there. And I "hate" shopping!! LOL

Went from 3 stars to 4 because the store in Union Hall has improved since my last visit. The aisles were clear & someone was stocking the shelves. Rocky Mount store could learn from them. Rocky Mount store is still 3 stars, teetering on 2.

This store falls into things I didn't know until I was an adult. I always thought this was a bargain shopping store, it's not. Prices are about on par with everywhere else. Good part is there's one every 45 feet apart

Our Dollar General is very busy, I accidentally left my purse and they locked it in there safe, I was very relieved it was safe and nothing was missing. The employee are very nice and helpful.

As I've noticed back in North Carolina before I moved up here there's so much stop coming into the stores on such a regular basis that they never have no one there to put stock up it rather gets put up but soon before it's come back in if you put up again in my opinion like down there that I feel the same problem they need more than one person putting stock up that's my opinion other than that people are great thank you

The manager was terrible! She interrupted an employee helping a customer to correct the employee. She should have corrected the employee later in private. She disclosed the monetary value of a box that was delivered. She then shouldered the employee out of the way to help the customer herself. Just incredibly rude!

6 isles were junked up with unstocked new inventory and broken down empty boxes. I had to walk past these isles to find a clear one to walk down and the isle I needed was jammed more than halfway up with cars of inventory. I had to lean way in to get one item I needed. It's in the middle of nowhere and the only thing around so they can be like that I guess because people can choose to go there or drive another 20+ miles to go somewhere else. I was from out of town so thankfully this is not a choice I'd have to make on a regular basis.

Always changing management but seems to be very clean and organized unlike other places I've been in. Just a hop down the road so if I need something they carry I will go there before going all the way into town
