Room was comfortable, employees were kind and helpful. Accidentally had booked a smoking room, and were able to change to a non-smoking room no problem. Had some trouble with TV set up and called front desk, expecting them to just tell us on phone what to do, but they actually came down to help get it right, which was very nice and unexpected given it was after 10pm. Pet friendly with clean grounds. Bookmarked website so we can stay again when spending time in sw va.Rooms: Room was clean and pretty spacious.Safety: Cameras and well-lit, felt fine walking my small dogs to go potty after dark by myself.Food & drinks: Several fast food restaurants and a diner within walking distance.

Good value for the price. Most places I've been to that are this price are extremely dated and gross. This place was not. It was a clean room with clean sheets and towels. It IS next to the interstate so if interstate noise bothers you this is not your place. Not Motel 6's fault though. Wide parking spaces which is convenient when unloading luggage. This Motel 6 is close to several fast food restaurants and convenience stores.

Had to stay in this motel for 20 days. Paid over 1300 and after the 20 day had them tell me they had a 14 day policy after taking my 70 plus dollars, that i had to check out even though i had the money to pay.Waiting on new rental house to be ready is the reason, i was there and had to move everything on short notice with the rudest owners and housing cleaning staff. Place said pet friendly but from my experience besides the one lady at the front desk, there was nothing friendly about this motel.MY ADVICE KEEP DRIVING PAST HERERooms: moldy shower curtain, burn hole in the bed linen, small, uncomfortable.

Seems to be the only cheap motel in the area that isn't bug infested! Not as clean as I would expect a motel to be but it doesn't have bugs and doesn't stink! Also is pet friendly, pets stay for free which is a HUGE plus. Located next to I-81, restaurants close by. Great location.Rooms: Bug free, doesn't stink but cleaning crew could do a better job.Safety: Cameras throughout facility grounds.Walkability: Walking distance to several restaurants and 24hr convenience storesFood & drinks: Has mini fridge and microwave in each room.

I couldn't tell you about the rooms we pulled in and pulled right back out looked like a not so great area and all kinds of random things outside hotel rooms. Update as you can see they respoperson but when brought to there attention in person nothing was done basically was told not there problem and refused to refund the nights we did not stay.

I was looking for a hotel in Salem and couldn't find one, so I stayed at this motel. Of course, it's far from Salem, it's about a 20 minute drive. I thought that this motel is near the highway and is frequented by people who are tired from long journeys. There were a lot of customers on weekends. I stayed for 3 nights and had one cleaning during that time. I think they probably didn't clean it again because it was clean. There was no toothpaste and brush. But that was not important to me either. I can't say that it's very clean, but for such a cheap place, it seemed reasonable to me. There is a McDonald's nearby. If you don't have a car, I would recommend not staying at this motel.

Location is near several places to eat and gas stations. The rooms were spacious and clean. The only downside was the room reeked of animals when we first got there and the towels were tiny. It was like drying off with a hand towel. Overall though, this was the best Motel6 we've stayed in and highly recommend people staying in when they come to the area.

My room was absolutely filthy… I had to go out and buy cleaning supplies because I couldn’t stand it being that dirty. The floors have obviously not been cleaned, there was hair in my shower when I arrived and my blanket had cigarette burns in it. I was visiting my fiancé who’s in the military and I really didn’t need anything fancy and wasn’t expecting anything fancy… all I needed was a clean room and clearly couldn’t get that

Motel was clean and the bed very comfortable. My husband and I had mechanical issues and had to find a place to sleep with dogs on the fly. Online rates were favorable and they got us in! With the truck being in the shop the morning after, they were able to extend my check-out time to 2 pm for a small fee (I had no problems with). Great, the receptionist, was so kind and accommodating to us, shout-out to her!! There was a field in the back so my puppy could run (on leash, of course) and play. Overall great value! I would stay here again.

Service was exceptional, rooms looked nice and were mostly clean, and it was quiet. We stayed here overnight to break up a long road trip. The stay was super comfortable and safe, which was a huge concern because our cars were completely packed. My only hang up was the dirty floor. We had to wear slippers because the floors turned our feet black. Otherwise, perfect stop for an overnight stay!

The room was very clean, but the beds were miserable and hard, tossed and turned all night. The light over one bed didn't work and one of the electrical plugs by the bed didn't work, the electrical plug by the sink didn't work, I even tried resetting it but that didn't work either. Location is rather noisy because it backs the highway and you can hear trucks and vehicles all night long, and someone in the building was playing music and the bass was bumping well past midnight - not super loud, but enough to bother and keep me awake. Wouldn't intentionally come back. They really need to update and upgrade the mattresses at least. I'm sure they wouldn't want to sleep on a rock like that.

Booked this hotel for an event nearby and was forced to cancel the day before due to the honoree of the event being diagnosed with Covid and hospitalized. The hotel can approve a full refund but was VERY unsympathetic and refused. I was charged $69 for a room I never stayed in due to a circumstance beyond my control, still being in a pandemic. Will definitely not be staying here once the event is rescheduled.

The room was very dirty outdated and had to stay there for 2 days. Both days the old man cleaning the rooms tried barging into my room. The first day I figured it was a mistake but the second day I went outside to throw my trash , and came back inside and forgot to lock the door ,the man knocked twice and barged inside without warning. Could of had a naked wife I here or children and he was extremely rude about it too. I will continue my stay at the super 8 instead ,way nicer for the same price.

There staff was nice, and the bed was comfy, but the room was not clean.There was dried pee all around the toilet seat, the tub had hair in it and had soap scum or something all over, and the floors hadn't really even been swept.It was a non-smoking room, but there was so much air freshener that I'm pretty sure something smelly happened in there.Definitely not the worst hotel I've stayed in, but it made me wish I had remembered shower shoes, and maybe some clorox wipes.

Pleasantly surprised at the accommodations! The rooms seem to have been recently upgraded. The room was clean and the bedding seemed new.The bathroom was small, but was upgraded too. I especially liked that the toilet was slightly taller than most, which is helpful for those of us with knee problems.Would definitely stay again!

Woman at the front desk was super nice. Rooms were clean and I was surprised the mini fridge had a separate freezer door! Most of the time it's a smaller block mini fridge, so the was a pleasant change. My only complaint is the bathrooms. I bumped into the toilet bowl and the whole thing shifted. The door JUST got by the bowl itself and the tub had chips out of it and didn't have a cover on it. The sink was fine, gave hot water, but I saw the pull for the stopper was missing. For staying here one night, it gave me the feeling of staying there wouldn't be bad and plan to use this motel again of I have to come back to the area.

It was clean and roomy although it is old towels and shower is a bit light in pressure. Be sure to be up early for the wondering house keepers. They are not aware you have till 11am to be out.But only if we all were as perfect as myself.I have no problems with Motel 6 and would certainly stay again.
