My wife selected the hotel based on ratings that suggested it was one of the cleanest in the area.That was not our experience.The first room wasn't well cleaned, so they gave us a second room that was cleaned to the same standards. It wasn't awful, but not great either.Fortunately, the staff was understanding, apologetic, and tried to work with us. Kudos.The pool is small and a bit run down and dingy.The highlight was easily the breakfast. The biscuits and gravy and waffles were really good!

Very nice hotel. Friendly staff. Clean and very comfortable rooms. Dog friendly.We were so tired when we got in after a long trip that I forgot to take photos.Would definitely stay here again!

I got a King Suite room here recently. I got in much later since I drive nighttime due to personal preference. I got checked in by Ernie. He’s very welcoming and had no issues with me checking in beyond midnight. I’ve had issues with hotels cancelling without notice if I don’t show up within a certain time range. This was hugely convenient for me. The Elevator is indeed back up and working. The bed was quite comfortable and Pillows were surprisingly great aswell. I’m at a point sometimes I gotta use a personal pillow I bring from home since some hotels have those horrid tiny cheap square pillows where you are better off without one. It was a nice setup. I’d come back for future trips if my work sends me up through that way again.

Only stayed one night, but the room was updated, clean, and had plenty of storage. The beds were comfortable and the curtains totally blocked out the light from the parking lot so it was very dark in the room. I loved that the bedside light had a reading light option! The bathroom was also very clean (and I definitely checked). Very convenient to have a mini fridge and microwave. The free breakfast was what you would usually find in a hotel. The staff was very friendly, especially Ernie!My only cons were that the AC unit made a random noise thought out the night. I can best describe it as sounding like someone was dragging a shovel across a gravel driveway and the breakfast lacking options for people with diet restrictions. I was looking forward to at least a banana, but they were very unripe this morning (green).Overall, I'd stay here again.

Elevator broke and almost got stuck in the stupid thing, room AC thermostat doesn't work correctly and have to set @ 68 to achieve 73*, window curtains do not close to block the 1000 million lumen parking lot lights beaming into room at night. No juice at the breakfast bar, just bottle water and coffee. This is the worst Comfort Inn experience ever and most likely eill not return to this location again or a Comfort Inn.Noteworthy details: Desk staff was extremely helpful and polite. Provided the best customer service possible with all things mentioned above. Great employee with people skills.

A very nice clean well appointed hotel for a budget price.The hotel staff was very friendly and check in was a breeze. The room was spacious, clean and had everything I needed. The shower had decent pressure and the towels were nicely upgraded.The breakfast was good with your typical eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy and such.I’d easily stay here again if I was in the area.

I was down in the area for a work event, and I decided to stay here for a reasonable priced stay. However, when people say you get what you pay for that's no lie. Not only my room but a few of my co-workers had issues with bed bugs. I think the hotel staff needs to watch how they clean the sheets and if I were a guest staying; make sure you look on the sheets and around the bed before setting your stuff down. Over all the workers seems kind and friendly however some seemed they didn't want to be there.

We did not stay there because the hotel was full, but Melissa at the front desk was extremely helpful. She suggested that the Quality Inn in Wytheville was the only place around that had any availability, 75 miles away!! She got me the phone number to call to reserve, lent me pen and paper to write down the information, and was overall a breath of fresh air! Parking lot and common areas were clean. Staff was helpful. Super easy to check in. The room was stuffy and had a musty smell to it. It had a great big busted place in the wall behind the door. The bottom & sides of the toilet was not clean. The exhaust fan was extremely loud & hadn't been cleaned in some time. The tub didn't drain well, I unscrewed the tub stop and pulled a ridiculous gob of Lord knows what out of the drain so that I wouldn't be in ankle deep water before my shower was done. If you walked across the carpet in your socks they would be filthy. You can hear everything from the hallway & adjoining rooms all hours of the day & night.

I stayed here while traveling with my wife and newborn child. The first thing we noticed immediately was the fact people were smoking and drinking mid day right by the entrance of the hotel. However, we realize the hotel didn't have much control over that situation, so proceeded to check in. Things only got worst from there. The first room we checked into, the card we were given didn't work. After finally getting that fixed, we checked into the room, and noticed that the AC didn't work. We notified the front desk, and after verifying that the AC didn't work they moved us to another room. However, the front desk messed up the keys again, so I had to go back down and have them fix it for the 2nd time. Once we had finally moved everything into the 2nd room we found that the phone and refrigerator didn't work. We requested they just move a working refrigerator into the room so we could at least keep our childs milk cold. The only thing they offered was moving us for a 3rd time. At this point we had been on the road for 8hrs and had an exhausted child who had finally fallen asleep. So, as frustrating the situation was, we were not going to pack everything up a third time and move rooms.At this point we decided that we should see about getting fairly compensated for the multiple problems we experienced. Unfortunately though we booked through Expedia, so we had to contact them to tell them about our experience and that we were going to request a partial or full refund in the morning. They said we would need to talk to the hotel manager to authorize the refund. That next day I spoke to the hotel manager and she apologized and said they would correct the issues and understood about wanting a refund.Now fast forward to the present. We just checked with Expedia to see about the status of our refund. According to Expedia the hotel disputed all of our claims and said there was no documentation of the events and claimed they denied that there were any issues with our stay.

This hotel is in great shape and has everything one would need except a big meeting room. Bumped into a sad lacrosse team that lost and had taken up the whole check-in and breakfast area.The room was new and very nice. The bed was comfortable and had everything we needed. I would definitely stay again. I slept in and didn't make it to breakfast, but it smelled good.

We had a great stay. Excellent value for the price. Our room and the common areas were very clean. Recent renovations created a fresh feel. Breakfast was good, as expected. Nice touches included complementary cookies, hot beverages, water when we arrived.

Comfy beds but the pillows are far too soft. Unlike other hotels that offer various firmness these feel like they oughta be replaced. There are also not enough movie channels. We also tried using the screen mirroring to watch Netflix from our phone but the internet is not connected to the tv. So we couldn't. Such a let down to not have Netflix if there's not enough movie channels. Also a lot of scrambled channels. Clean room and does the job but even after putting a do not disturb thing on our door we got a letter of entry from housekeeping which we didn't ask for saying they couldn't clean cause of all our personal belongings then we had some mysterious black stuff show up on our bathroom rug and outside of the tub. We tried washing it off but it is some weird adhesive. Strange indeed. Also, in the mornings it seems staff should be concerned with making sure the breakfast foods are filled up consistently instead of hogging the elevators with cleaning crew while people here are trying to access breakfast. The elevators with only 3 floors took forever to get to. This hotel could do better but I do appreciate the cookies and lemonade. Just wish sausage links were available daily instead of that potato mash stuff with peppers. Thanks oh yeah and the shower faucet to get the hot water was tricky at first. You have to put it just right on the upper top right or it will turn off completely : / we've also had a lot of slamming doors on the 3rd floor. I wish at check in they could ask people not to slam doors. Especially after midnight...**oh and the radio randomly makes creepy static noises even when it's set to off. It would be nice if we had the option to unplug it.

This hotel has been my go to and stayed three times to meet my family half way to spend time with each other here. This was the first time it was a non pleasant visit. We checked in Thursday and early Friday morning we seen a cockroach crawling on the toliet paper then later one was crawling up out of the bathroom sink. We called front desk and they was nice and said we can offer a king size room as 2 queens are sold out. Meanwhile, we have 3 people so a king wouldn't work. Friday evening we noticed our air conditioner stopped working and it was 81 degrees in our room. Called front desk and the lady at the front desk came up, and commented how stuffy it was in our room but maintenance was gone for the day. She unplugged it, turned it down to 62 and it came on and blew out cold air for 10 mins then stopped working. Saturday night was our last night and it was hot, we couldn't sleep. We checked out and informed front desk about the air and all you can say is sorry. Paying 476.00 for 3 nights was worthless.

Very nice, clean, modern with a nice breakfast. Staff 3 stars evening 5 stars daytime. We used Choice rewards, that was a little challengeing with the service individual but all worked out. I would recommend "go on the web" and book it yourself ( no hassle by not having to put up with people not understanding English and attitudes😟). We used points & cash to save on our Choice Rewards points. We requested first floor but had to settle for second floor . They have elevators ( but that was not what we wanted) but like to be on first floor to load luggage. We are in our 70s 🙂

I made reservations on the Choice hotels app. When we got to the hotel. There was some kind of mix up with the hotel and Choice hotels. All it really boiled down too was. The expiration date on my card was put in wrong. All needed well. Had a very lovely young lady wait on us she was very friendly and helpful. We will be back because of her, her name was Ieysha. Beautiful young lady inside and out.Noteworthy details: Room was beautiful. And very clean

No power at the house due to an ice/wind storm in the area on Christmas so we got a room here.I was so happy they had availability considering the day. The kids loved the heated pool. Everything was very clean and looked new.Thanks so much for definitely helping us make this holiday memorable!

The hotel is modern and updated, in a very nice area, rooms are very clean and stocked well, the lobby is clean, great breakfast options, complimentary items were nice in the room and the lobby, staff is very friendly and helpful (thanks Connie!). My husband and I traveled with two small kids and they made every accommodation they could for us. Very happy with this hotel, the area and the staff! Keep up the good work!

One of the best hotels we stayed in on this trip! Beds were soft and standard continental breakfast was included. The room felt safe and was clean. We booked a single king room and were surprised with how spacious it was.Noteworthy details: The front desk staff was very pleasant and the room looked very well cleaned. The housekeeping team seems like they did a very thorough job!

Beds were super comfy. Slept great both nights there. Breakfast bar area was smaller but food was still good. Pool was nice but there was a band-aid in it when my kids dove in. It happens. Looks like the place was still in the process of a refresh and the room layouts were a little cramped. Only one elevator too. Still would recommend. Lots of stuff nearby.
